About: I love animals and I have always had a variety of pets (both typical and unique) as beloved members of my family or cherished beings I’ve gotten the opportunity to spend time with. Some of the animals I’ve lived with or cared for include: dogs, cats, fish (salt and fresh), birds, hedgehogs, hamsters, reptiles, rabbits, pigs, and many more! I currently live in Petworth with my partner and our 4 beautiful rescue dogs (Havanese-4 y/o, Pomeranian-15 y/o, Husky-10 y/o, and Pittie-6 y/o). Over the years, my diverse and pawfict pack has taught me more and more about pet care. Especially my senior Pomeranian–whom I’ve had the privilege to love since he was a rambunctious puppy–now into his baby grandpa-hood, and hopefully into his twilight years. I look forward to walking dogs and meeting/sitting various pets in our neighborhood. Thank you for considering me to care for your special family member! My schedule can be somewhat flexible - if I know in advance I can change the days/hours I work. I work in my office 8 hours a day, four days a week. My in-office days are (typically) Monday - Thursday, 10 am to 7 pm (because of commute time), so on these days I can walk or visit your pet before or after work. With prearrangement, your pet may even be able to accompany me in office (my 15 y/o Pomeranian comes with me to work). On my work-from-home days, I’m available to sit and work from your home or take a lunch break to walk or drop-in on your pet. On weekends my availability is variable, but I try my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date. My partner and I live in Hyattsville with our 4 dogs (Havanese-Maltese, Pomeranian, Husky mix, and Terrier mix). We have a backyard and 2 separate living spaces in our home, giving us room for extra pups. Our home has one-step entry in the back, making it great for elderly dogs or dogs with joint problems.

About: I’ve been an animal lover since a kid, and am excited to care for your pet! I’m a grad student in MD and am a proud pet parent of 2 Yorkie-mix dogs. I have experience with pet feeding, long walks, and fun playtime. I’m also comfortable administering medications and caring for dogs of all sizes. My husband and I are fairly flexible, and I often work from home. We have a large backyard where your dog(s) can safely play and enjoy the outdoors. I’m a grad student who has a very flexible schedule. I walk the dogs around 7:30am, brush their teeth, and set out their food. I also go on midday walks so they are mentally and physically stimulated. My husband takes the dogs out for long walks in the evenings as well. We are happy to include your pets into this schedule or add any additional care into this routine per your request and/or according to your pet’s needs. I have a large yard and 2 lovable pups that can keep your dog(s) company. We go on frequent walks and bathroom breaks around our quiet neighborhood and have tons of play space around the house. I am happy to honor any requests to care for one family’s pets at a time, and will absolutely treat your pet(s) as if they were my own.

About: I have cared for dogs of all sizes for about 5 years now. Walking, feeding, playing, and even cuddling are some of my favorite things to do to satisfy the dogs needs as well as the everyday physical requirement. I love being in the presence of animals, so gaining the opportunity to care for them personally would be a delight. I am currently engaged in a part-time law internship so I have an ample amount of time to spread accordingly throughout the week. From early morning hours, to mid-day or even evenings on the weekends or weekdays, I am available. My approach to caring for the pets within the clients home is firstly, abiding by the rules of the home and expectations of the pet. For example, if the dog is not allowed on the couch, I would not want to disrupt that practice during my visit. Secondly, I would provide my undivided attention to the dog, ensuring all of the necessary requirements are met.

About: I have two elderly cats and a handicapped dog that i have experience taking care of. Throughout the years, I have learned how to navigate potentially difficult situations pertaining to interactions with other animals or medical emergencies. I will always treat your pets as if they are my own, because I recognize that a pet is a member of the family and should be treated as such. I am a student at the University of Maryland; I am currently a senior so I have a lot of free time to spend caring for pets. About: I love pets! My family had a dog and lots of cats growing up so my love of and familiarity with pet care is deep. I have yet to become the mom of a furry as an adult, but I always look for opportunities to spend time with friends who are per parents. I would love to play and cuddle with your little love. I’m new to this app, but DEFINITELY not new to loving pets. I’d love to meet your sweet one. I have time after work on Fridays, all day Saturday and Sunday to board your pets. I am an elementary school teacher who is looking for furry company on the weekends. I'd love to be with your pets for a bit! I will make sure your pets feel safe, secure and loved. A typical day with me and your pet would involve reading their signs. If they want to play I am always ready to play catch or use a toy to engage with your animal. If they'd rather exist in a more calm place I can simply be a safe presence nearby. If they'd like to cuddle, I'm their gal! If I'm boarding your pet, they'll get to enjoy my big backyard. If your pet enjoys the outdoors we can be outside a good bit even after we take a walk, depending on the weather.
