“Kaitlyn was an amazing pet sitter for our 120 pound great pyr/ GSD mix! While our dog can be a bit tough meeting new people, Kaitlyn dove right in and provided regular check ins, potty breaks, and playtime for our boy. Would highly recommend!”

“Jennifer was great with my two kitties! It was the longest I’d been away from them and she understood how tough that was for me. She left thorough notes after each visit updating me on how it went. She was very responsive anytime I contacted her about the visits!”

“Krista is a wonderful pet sitter! She went over & above in her care and attention to my kitty, and gave me regular updates for which I was very grateful. I highly recommend Krista;your pet will in good hands!”

About: I've cared for dogs since I was young and have handled dogs both large and small. I've cared for cats since 2019, I am newer to them technically, but I love how different they can be. I run my own business, so making my own hours allows me a lot of wiggle room on doing check-ins or rearranging my day to allow for walks. My home is a temple to good vibes and my happy lil buddies (Sprout and Tansy) get along with everyone they've met so far.

About: I am a veterinary technician with hands on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. I have experience administering medications, monitoring post surgical patients, caring for our sweet senior pets, and working with anxious or reactive animals. I understand how important it is for pet owners to feel confident that their pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for and loved while they are away. Beyond my professional experience, I love all animals and treat them all as if they are my own! Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I strive to provide personalized care that keeps them happy, healthy, and stress free! I am currently working full time but my weekends are always open! My work schedule varies greatly each week but I am always available for overnights! I am able to schedule around your pet if needed! When caring for pets in a clients home, my priority is ensuring they are comfortable and maintain their normal routine! I follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, and household rules. I treat every clients home with respect and provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are receiving the absolute best care possible! My goal is to make your pets time away from you as stress free and enjoyable as possible :)
“Clareese takes such good care of our cat!! She takes lots of pictures and gives detailed updates. We would highly recommend her for all of your pet sitting needs. We love her!!!”

“Keilah is a great pet sitter! I have an extremely shy and anxious cat and somehow she got him to come out and play a little and even got a photo of him giving her a kiss! I was shocked! I recommend her for any pet needs and will absolutely be going back to her.”

“Heather was so kind and upon meeting her, I instantly knew I wouldn’t have to worry while I was gone. She was very communicative and I know my boy had the best treatment.”

About: I've watched and walked friends and neighbors dogs since I was eleven years old. While my paid experience is currently minimal, my familiarity, energy, and reliability goes the extra mile. Whether you're short on time, heading on vacation, or not physically able to take your pup on the walk they need, I'm here to help. I've was also lucky enough to have a sassy silver tabby cat of my own for 17 years. I adore cats and would gladly sit for them as well. I'm currently in-between jobs, focusing on a passion project so I have plenty for time and flexibility to look after your pet's needs. I am not currently available to board in my home as my lease does not allow pets, but I'd gladly look after them in your home once we've established trust between us and your pets.

About: I'm a dog mom myself & I treat every dog with the exact same love, patience, and care that I give my own. I understand that leaving your pet in someone else’s care requires total peace of mind, which is why I prioritize strict attention to routine, safety, and proactive communication. I currently work from 7am - 3pm on weekdays. I am fully available on weekends and overnights. After 3pm on weekdays I am fully available for drop ins and walks. I have a fenced in yard, and a Golden Retriever who is very friendly and well trained. I make sure there is always a water in my dogs bowl and I am on schedule with her feeding times.
“I can’t recommend Michelle enough! She took exceptional care of my pet while I was away—treating them with love, patience, and attention like they were her own. I got regular updates, cute photos, and total peace of mind knowing my pet was in great hands. She’s reliable, trustworthy, and clearly has a natural connection with animals. If you’re looking for someone who will go above and beyond, look no further!”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple family dogs since I was a kid helping with training, walking, and feeding. I started dog sitting and boarding a couple of years ago and really enjoy it as I don’t yet have my own dog at home. I currently work remote full time in Verona. I have open availability for dog boarding and sitting. During weekdays, I have availability for walks in the morning and evenings, I have more flexibility on the weekends. I always ensure the dogs I take care have everything they need and are safe at home and on walks. I am responsible and reliable and always make my commitments on time. I currently work fully remote so I have the ability to dog sit and board without having to leave your pets alone for long periods of time. I also am very active so walks are already a part of my daily routine. I am very good at following the pet parents instructions and schedules for their dogs. I always do my best to make sure the dog is comfortable and provide the same level of care they are used to.

“I booked Sarah through Rover to check in on my pets while I was on vacation, and she was amazing! She visited daily, walked Yogi three times a day, and made sure Luna was happy and cared for. I loved getting picture updates, and she contacted me right away with any concerns. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were well cared for, which let me really enjoy my trip. Highly recommend!”

I will love your baby just like my very own! Thank you for the privilege of allowing me to care for your non human babies! I look forward to meeting each and every one! If you talk with any of my family and friends they know how crazy I am about my fur babies and your fur babies will too! I look forward to meet you in person! Sincerely, I am a full time stay at home caregiver for my dad who is partially paralyzed. I am able to always be available to your pets in my home. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Penn Hills
Annette is very warm and kind. My older dog is usually a little slow to warm up these days but he took to her right away during our meet and greet. She dropped in as discussed, shared photos and even brought a package in the house for me! Thank you Annette! Highly recommend!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Cassandra! Recently, a storm hit our area — not exactly ideal conditions for anyone. But without hesitation, she went above and beyond her role and helped clean up before carrying on with caring for Harvey. That kind of thoughtfulness and initiative is incredibly rare. She didn't have to do that — but she did it anyway, and it meant the world to me. It's clear she genuinely cares. So If you're looking for someone who is reliable, compassionate, and goes the extra mile (literally and figuratively), look no further. Thanks Cass :)

Holly was great! This was our first time leaving our puppy in the care of someone else, and we felt like we were in good hands with Holly! She watched our puppy for an hour while we were at a family gathering. She made sure our dog went outside for a bit, she played with her, and she made sure the dog felt safe and happy. Thanks, Holly!

My dog instantly connected with Aubra at our meet and greet! She provided a couple of drop-in visits and was very punctual. She kept me updated with great communication throughout, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I could tell my dog was comfortable and well cared for. I’d definitely recommend Aubra.

For a vacation where everything that could go wrong almost did, Kayli was the one reliable positive thing that we had to deal with through our planning and travels! Kayli was very communicative, sent lots of pictures, and was super understanding and easy going while dealing with our pipes freezing while she stayed with our pets. I also think our pets behaved better for her than they do for us!! I was a little reluctant to use rover as we have always had friends stay with our pets but I am so happy to have found Kayli!

AJ was great. I reached out just a few days before we needed help, and even with the last-minute changes (including thinking I had to cancel, and then uncanceling), she was incredibly accommodating. She stopped by, let Vinny out to pee, gave him a treat, spent a little time with him, and made sure everything was locked up before leaving. Vinny was happy and well cared for!

As a dog “parent” I appreciated Iana’s professionalism - her courtesy, communication, and kindness. Our dog sometimes won’t leave his crate when someone new is in the home. Iana gently persisted, allowing him some “space” yet providing encouragement when needed, giving him the opportunity for going outside. Her pictures and texts kept us appraised of her visit. We would definitely hope to have her with us again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
