About: I provide dependable, compassionate care and treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to following each pet’s routine to help them feel safe and comfortable. Whether caring for energetic puppies, adult pets, or senior animals who need extra attention, I focus on providing reliable, loving care and keeping owners updated for peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I make time each day for walks, feeding, playtime, and giving pets the attention and companionship they need. I stay organized and dependable, so I can consistently follow each pet’s schedule and provide reliable care throughout the week, including weekends when needed. When caring for pets, I focus on providing a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I follow each pet’s regular routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions from the owner. In a client’s home, I respect their space while ensuring their pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I also keep owners updated so they can feel confident that their pets are well cared for while they are away.
“Adrienne is so great with our one and half year old mini poodle. We board our puppy for three weeks with Adrienne. She sent me photos and videos and reassure me everything went well with my puppy. I was so anxious leaving my puppy for so long the very first time, but Adrienne is so professional and caring for my puppy. When my puppy came back, his temperament didn’t change. He came back to his regular routine right away. I take that as a very good sign. My puppy must have been taken very good care of. We will for sure be a regular with Adrienne from now on.”

“Rebecca was a great puppy sit for my dog Ruby! She took Ruby in the car, kept her active, and had smooth checkins. Very grateful for how easy Rebecca made it for me and Ruby. Thank you so much!”

“This was our second time leaving Franklin with Gillian and it was great! He was dealing with some separation anxiety and she handled it great and was very communicative about how he was doing. Would recommend Gillian to anyone looking for a new sitter!”

“Tamakia was very great with communication from the start. She gave my dog the attention he needed and sent updates and pics throughout his stay. He received plenty of outside time and was able to make himself at home during his stay.”

“Beatriz always does an amazing job! She is so sweet and caring and my dog is always so happy when I come pick her up. I can tell she takes amazing care of the dogs in her care and my dog has even started getting excited when we pull up to her house. She is so responsive and always sends the cutest pictures and videos of my dog while I’m gone! She’s truly the best and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter, she will treat your pet like her own!”

“Patrick and Emily were fabulous! Zeke loved it there. They provided pics and updates and took very good care of our puppy while we were away! Highly recommended”

“Gina took good care of our 1yr old puppy - took her on lots of walks, fun outings to breweries, and play times for our energetic girl. Gina was very easy to work with for us as well. She was flexible with drop-off and pick-up times, and went out of her way to coordinate a pick up time when we left some of Lilah's stuff behind.”

“Once again, success! My dog Teddy much enjoyed his 2nd stay with Ellyn & family. We very much appreciate her conscientiousness & flexibility, as well as ease of communication. Most of all knowing Teddy is being cared for in a loving family environment while I’m away is the best thing ever!”

“Mary and her family cared for zucchini like he was their own!! I absolutely recommend your pet staying with them. Zucchini already can’t wait for me to go on another trip so he can see his friends again.”

“Very grateful to Brittany and Pippin for caring for Lilah while we were away. Brittany sent photos daily, which I always appreciate, and Pippin kept her well occupied with lots of playtime!”

About: I’m from LA, where I worked for a dog hiking service where we started each morning with a group hike, came back home for daycare, and boarded dogs overnight. I love all dogs, big + small, and know how important it is for them not just to be well taken care of, but happy! Now it’s just me and my dog (Micho) in Pittsburgh exploring the trails around the city, and we would love to bring your pup along! As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule + take multiple walks a day, short hikes a couple times a week, and longer day trips on the weekends. Because I only take one dog at a time, my time will be completely devoted to your dog for one-on-one play, walks, snuggling, and everything in between.
“She is absolutely amazing with my babies! She goes out of her way to make them feel loved and welcome. She also does little things that help me from being away from them and my unpacking them at home easier!”

“Audrey was absolutely great with Emma. Sent me pics and vids daily showing her playing. Was super flexible in how long I needed to board my cat. Hoping she’s available for the next time I need to go away”

“Geena is an absolute gift! She hosted our kitty for two back to back stays during a chaotic era of our lives and was FANTASTIC. Kitty had some medical stuff come up during her stay and Geena went above and beyond to communicate with us and make sure she had great care. We will absolutely rebook in the future and highly recommend!”

“Kristina was amazing with Lincoln! He was very nervous and shy at first but she did amazing with him. She sent updates and pictures over the weekend so we could stay updated with how he was doing.”

“Bryn and boots were great hosts! Bryn took great care of our dog Julie. She seemed to really care about and follow Julie’s schedule. She was extremely communicative and we really appreciated all the updates even during a holiday week. Julie seemed to love spending time and playing with Boots. We will definitely be requesting to book again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Penn Hills
Omg! Natasha saved us when our sitter canceled with 2 days notice on a week long booking for a dog, puppy, and cat. She responded immediately after I reached out, came over the same day to meet us and even helped me find a number to contact Rover for a full refund of the other sitter. Natasha and her family took such good care of our fur babies. She sent pics every day and gave updates constantly.we even got a puppy photo shoot from her!!! Not only that, but I feel like I met a kindred spirit meeting her. She is such a sweet loving person & I’m so glad things didn’t work out with the first booking! We will absolutely be using her for future trips and plan on telling everyone about her! I could never thank her enough for helping us out on such short notice and being such an amazing sitter. 💗

Truly our dogs are our fur children and leaving them with anyone causes hesitation and Rafael understood that concern. Rafael and his family were absolutely amazing with Giotto. Photographs and updates were sent. The response time for any questions I had was immediate. The transition home was almost painless - it was almost like Giotto had found a second home. I will be using him again for both short- and long-term visits.

I feel so fortunate to have found Tyler to care for my very active and rambunctious 9- month old golden retriever. Tyler is very dog savvy and understood the challenges he had. He walked my dog several times a day meeting new people and dogs. Just the kind of socialization a young dog needs. I loved the daily updates and pictures Tyler sent. My dog seemed to be having such a good time, I doubt he missed me at all.

Kiah is fantastic! She sent frequent updates and pictures and I felt such peace of mind knowing that my dog was loved and having the best time with Kiah and her pets. She did a great job handling my dog’s allergies and reactivity and I would absolutely book with her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
