About Lyndsay M.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
I have a deep love for all animals. I truly want to find a way to use my passion to help others. I am also a great communicator. I love taking fun photos of your pets so you can see how much they enjoyed their time with me. 😊
Information Lyndsay M. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your pet has any special needs, whether that be a physical limitation or a trigger to avoid. I'd also like to know of any potential behavior issues to ease any anxiety (for your pet and for you!).
A typical day
Sniff walks are the best for mentally stimulating a dog! I would love to take your dog somewhere they can sniff to their heart's desire. Cats need stimulation too...which is why I carry a laser pointer. Just in case.

Pet care experience
I've owned dogs my entire life, ranging in size from 25-100 lbs. I am incredibly comfortable with dogs of all sizes and have handled dogs up to 130 lbs without issue. I have frequently volunteered as an animal handler at a local shelter, so I have a significant background of working with animals with various temperaments. I also have owned a couple of cats throughout my life and handle them weekly at the animal shelter, including ones with serious anxiety issues and social problems. No cat is too much for me! At the shelter, I have put in enough hours and training to be allowed to interact with all cats at the shelter, including the most challenging cats that require rigorous behavior modification plans. I also achieved the 2nd of 3 levels of dog-handling at the animal shelter so far. I've also volunteered at a wildlife rehab! No animal is too much for me (except maybe a tarantula). But really, I am not squeamish. I'm accustomed to handling many different types of animals. Just tell me how to care for your babies, and leave the rest to me!
Reviews

Not sure what happened but Lyndsay no showed on a booking for me and I have yet to hear anything from her. She was my go-to sitter for a year or more and was always super reliable. I hope she is OK!

Poor judgement booking this Rover person. Never responded to texts for the two drop ins. Appears that she never came to the house last night or this morning. Left my trip early and drove home because dogs were never cared for. Would have preferred she cancelled rather than deceive me. First bad experience with rover and now last. Rating was 0
Lyndsay M. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.

Lyndsay is a true professional! 100% reliable and genuinely cares about each of our pets. Excellent communication on every visit! Thank you Lyndsay!
