I currently work full-time at the National Aviary with an 8 mile commute to work. My scheduled workdays are Friday through Tuesday from 8am-5pm. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, I am completely available. Throughout the week, I will be able to offer animal care in the mornings and in the evenings as needed.

With a zoo of our own at home, my wife and I care for our 10 year old poodle mix, Zowie, our two cats, Nox and Mojo, our turtle, aptly named Turtle, and our mouse, Midge. Having a wide range of domestic fauna in our household, there's a great deal of individualized care our family requires daily. Pet care experience
I've never known a day where I did not have a pet in my life. Animals have had such an impact on me, that now I can happily say I work full time for them. I'm currently a zookeeper at the National Aviary, where I take care of a wide variety of birds, bats, and even a sloth. As wild as that sounds, there's never a dull moment at my home either. My wife and I have a dog, two cats, a turtle, and a mouse. For many years, my family and friends have enrusted me with the care of their pets knowing that they'd be in good hands. From zookeeper by day, to petsitter by night, no job is too wild!
