Zookeeper by day, sitter by night.
I've never known a day where I did not have a pet in my life. Animals have had such an impact on me, that now I can happily say I work full time for them. I'm currently a zookeeper at the National Aviary, where I take care of a wide variety of birds, bats, and even a sloth. As wild as that sounds, there's never a dull moment at my home either. My wife and I have a dog, two cats, a turtle, and a mouse. For many years, my family and friends have enrusted me with the care of their pets knowing that they'd be in good hands. From zookeeper by day, to petsitter by night, no job is too wild!

With a zoo of our own at home, my wife and I care for our 10 year old poodle mix, Zowie, our two cats, Nox and Mojo, our turtle, aptly named Turtle, and our mouse, Midge. Having a wide range of domestic fauna in our household, there's a great deal of individualized care our family requires daily. I look forward to learning and adapting to your pets needs to give them as excellent of care as I would want for my own.

Brandon was excellent with our miniature dachshund, Clif. He had third degree burns recently and required a little extra care, and Brandon went above and beyond to make sure Clif bad his meds, got a walk in, and even put him in a clean suitical. Brandon did an amazing job taking care of our cats. He was even able to coax the scared ones out of their hiding places.

Schedule
I currently work full-time at the National Aviary with an 8 mile commute to work. My scheduled workdays are Friday through Tuesday from 8am-5pm. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, I am completely available. Throughout the week, I will be able to offer animal care in the mornings and in the evenings as needed.
