“Jess was so responsive and helpful and kind. Our puppy needed special care after surgery, and medication too, as well as removal and replacement of his e dollar so he could eat and drink. She did an amazing job, and kept me informed. We really needed help and she came through. Would 💯 recommend. Thank you Jessica!”

“Gary was great. We have a big dog and we were worried he would be hard to handle. But Gary showed up on time, sent pics and did a great job. We will definitely rebook him!”

About: What sets me apart is my personalized approach—treating every pet like my own, with dedicated attention, consistent communication, and a deep understanding of each animal’s unique needs and personality. I work from home all week and have a pretty short working schedule. I have lots of time at home to make sure each pet has the best care they need while the owner is out. Been doing it for so long and it's the best job ever! I have a fenced yard with lots of space, i live in a home in a mixed suburban neighborhood and there's lots of walking space around the block, dog park 5 min away and great space at home (no kids, just my wife)
About: I have four years of hands on experience as a kennel technician, caring for dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments. I specialize in maintaining clean, safe environments, providing enrichment, and offering plenty of love and attention. I’m confident handling puppies, senior pets, and administering basic medications, ensuring every pet feels comfortable and cared for while their family is away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine as I currently work as a Lead Kennel Technician. I dedicate mornings and evenings to feeding, walking, and engaging with pets, and I am available for pet sitting and drop-in visits during my off days /hours. I enjoy spending quality time with animals every day. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I create a calm, welcoming environment and follow any specific instructions provided by pet parents. In a client’s home, I ensure pets remain in familiar surroundings and maintain their routines. If pets are in my care, I provide secure spaces, enrichment activities, and close supervision to make sure they are happy and safe.

“Becky, fulfilled all the requests, took care of the cats statused us when we needed to be told something to and proactively communicated any delays. Definitely recommend.”
“Savannah was amazing with our three cats, going above and beyond at every turn. Before our trip she came by and spent some time to get to know our babies and let them get comfortable with her. During her visits she gave each of them the personalized attention they needed - be it play, cuddles, or quiet time away from their brothers - so that we returned to happy cats. The food and water were full on return, the litter box clean, Savannah even went above and beyond and swept up the litter outside their box. Will absolutely be calling on Savannah for our next trip - she’s the cat foster mom we never knew we needed.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs all my life, and I have lots of experience with big breeds as I’ve owned three Newfoundlands and a Leonberger. I also have some experience with elderly dogs. I have assisted in training all the dogs I’ve owned, and most importantly, I love all animals! I’m a college student home for the summer, so I’ve gotten plenty of time to spend time with your doggy. I’m less available early in the day (6–9AM), but from 9AM onward I’m at the disposal of your puppy. :) I’m quite good with crate training, as well as dogs that are a bit more stubborn. I am comfortable staying with them as long or as short as needed. I also have a lot of experience walking dogs that require prong collars or harnesses.
About: I love walking, playing, & watching all sorts of dogs. I’ve grown up with dogs in the house since I was a little girl. Dogs are my best friends! I currently work as a nurse so my schedule moves around a bit. Typically I am only working about 3 days a week! Any of my 4 days off I can be available! My home is friendly & welcoming to all different dogs. I do have a fenced in yard, & a dog who gets along great with others!
About: Hi Pittsburgh! Just getting my rover account active again now that my partner works from home! We are a pet sitting duo/making sure there is someone with your furry friend all day! Booking with us means excellent service & cleanly people. & someone you can trust with your babies!! we are able to spend all day & night with them so they don’t need to be left alone for longer than an hour or two at a time. I know how hard it is to leave ur pets so i understand the care they need when their favorite humans are gone. My lack of reviews is because I havent had alot of sits on rover I usually book from word of mouth. Lets set up a meet and greet so you can get to know us & we can get to know ur furry friends 🫶🏼 I have a very open schedule and want to spend my days with your pets! I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals Depends on the client’s situation! I can care for pets in my home! if your pet doesnt get along with other dogs thats no problem my dogs stay with my dad while im pet boarding.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a youngster. They have always made my heart happy! Family and friends have trusted me to care for their pets whether it was dog sitting, walking, or just dropping by they have always known their fur babies were in good hands with me! I currently work part time as a Medical Assistant which leaves lots of room for me to do what I love- spend time with dogs. If your dog prefers a furry companion- I have a very well socialized pup of my own who loves to play and go for walks. I am a lover of the outdoors myself so long walks are just as much as a bonus for me as they are for your pup. If your dog prefers to lounge around I can handle that as well!
About: I love animals, and I've had pets since I was a little kid. I love both cats and dogs. I had a chocolate lab for most of my childhood. Then, when I graduated college, I got a cat named Winston. He was my best friend until he died when he was 13. Now that I'm settled with a son and a partner, I have a mini Australian Shepherd puppy named Nugget. I have lots of love to give your pets, but I also prioritize safety and communication. I want you to feel at ease when you're away from your pets and know that they are in good hands with me. I will follow your instructions to a t and make sure that your pet gets so much love and attention. I have experience in caring for cats, but I also have experience dogwalking, housesitting, and dogsitting. I can't wait to meet your pets! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I work from home several days each week, which gives me flexibility and allows me to spend more time with the pets in my care. Because of my schedule, I can often accommodate visits throughout the day and provide pets with consistent attention, companionship, and care. Outside of work, spending time with animals is genuinely one of my favorite things to do. I love using my free time and weekends to care for pets, whether that means going for walks, playing, providing cuddles, or simply keeping them company and helping them feel comfortable while their owners are away. Caring for animals never feels like a chore to me. It's something I truly enjoy and look forward to. When caring for pets in a client's home, my goal is to maintain their normal routine and help them feel as safe and comfortable as possible while their family is away. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I am happy to accommodate any reasonable requests regarding feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, medications, sleeping arrangements, or other aspects of their care. I treat every client's home with the same respect and care that I would want someone to show my own. I am conscientious, trustworthy, and committed to leaving your home just as I found it. Most importantly, I strive to provide pets with companionship, patience, and attentive care so they can feel secure, relaxed, and loved in their familiar environment.

About: 🐾 Many of my clients have become friends, and their pups’ unique quirks always keep our household laughing. Whether it’s a one-time visit or recurring stays, I’m here to give them plenty of love and send you the cutest updates along the way 🥰. As a pet mama myself, I know how important peace of mind is while you’re away. We baby ours (big time), and we’ll baby yours too… silly voices and all! 📍 Location – I'm about 25-30 minutes from Verona (it's listed as my location for visibility purposes), but we have clients from all over. I also offer flexible pick-ups/drop-offs to make things easy (if needed). 🐶 Routine: I work from home so I am always here and available to care for him/her. They will be very well loved! We especially enjoy going for walks and playing in the yard. As I mentioned, I'll keep you updated throughout the stay with photos, and other updates. If I'm unsure about anything, I will absolutely reach out and ask you!
About: I’ve had dogs since I was 7 and I have taken increased responsibility over those years: feeding them, walking them, and watching them while my parents are out of town. I’ve dealt with training puppies: like walking on the leash, teaching simple tricks, and house training them. I’ve taken care of one dog through her end-of-life: including giving medicine, and dealing with bleeding and bladder control issues. I’m open seven days a week during normal day time hours. I’m willing to walk dogs or visit them in home. I have my own transportation if needed. I would walk the dogs in their neighbourhood or a local park. I’m willing to visit the home to play or help train the dog.

About: I have quite a few years of experience pet sitting. I have traveled home to watch my parents dog during their vacations, as well as taken care of neighbors and friends dogs/cats when they are away! I am pretty flexible with scheduling!! I’m currently working full-time day shifts, but am switching to night shift in mid-june. I have an hour break, which I don’t mind using for pet care if the travel distance lines up! I do not provide in-home services, however if absolutely needed in emergency situations, I live in a pet friendly apartment with plenty of space!
About: I just like being around puppies. Especially the smaller ones. I don't have any special skills and definitely not a professional. But I'm a responsible person and so you can trust me with your puppy. No cats though. I work one one week and one week off. On my off weeks I don't really do anything (yet). Filling the void. Free throughout the day during off weeks and not a single second during work week. I can walk your puppy, feed your puppy, ensure that it has company, play around with it, watch for signs of the puppy needing additional care.
About: I love dogs and grew up with them! Though I don't have the space for them now, I've been missing some puppy playtime! Both of my parents are vets as well, so I'm also pretty well versed in all things pet care! I do work full-time, but a lot of my job can be done from home depending on the amount of notice I have before discussing that with my boss. That being said my weekends are pretty open as well as the occasional monday. I typically work from home every other monday! I love all animals! Growing up I had 2 dogs and then foster failed 2 cats! Those 2 cats currently live with my parents, but I'm bringing them up here when I move into my own place. Both of my roommates also have cats!
About: While I may be new to dog sitting for others, I’ve always been an animal lover and have spent years caring for pets of friends and family. What sets me apart is how seriously I take this. I know trusting someone new takes a lot, so I make sure every dog gets my full attention, affection, and care. I’m reliable, gentle, and always focused on making your pup feel safe, happy, and loved like they’re my own. I’m also available for updates, walks, cuddles, or whatever your dog needs! My dog also had puppies herself so I have unintentional experience with puppy training and care lol. Pet care fits into my routine mostly on weekends, when I’m fully available to give your pup all my time and attention! I also have certain weekdays off from my regular job, so I’m flexible if you need coverage during those times too. I treat every pet like family and prioritize their safety at all times. I make sure the environment is calm, clean, and pet friendly. No unsafe foods, small objects, or open doors. I follow any instructions you provide closely and make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m always respectful of your space and your dog’s routine!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Plum
I was so impressed with Mary! She showed up right on time every day, provided detailed reports and was so responsive. Zaxby is a stubborn corgi and she seemed to do exceptionally well with him and made sure that he had plenty of exercise and attention when she visited. I would heartily recommend her to any pet parent and have already rebooked her for later this sunmer.

When Suzanna came up to meet Tugsley for a meet and greet, he immediately stayed by her side. That eased any concern I had. Suzanna was a great sitter while I was traveling and I will definitely use her again. She gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was loved and being cared for while I was away.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Plum with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
