About: I’ve never lived without a dog, so I have life experience playing, feeding, walking, and bathing pups. I helped raise and train my parents’ Golden Retriever puppy during COVID. I’m the go-to sitter for friends’ dogs and have experience with giving oral medication safely. I work full time, but remotely on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays and can easily take a break to take care of your baby. Weekends are fully open, unless out of town. I treat each clients home with professionalism and ensure that I take care not only the pets, but leave no trace of me behind. Your house is your safe space and I will never spoil that for you.

About: I had numerous dogs growing up and currently have one of my own, Finley, a Goldendoodle; I adore looking after pets and others. Dogs of all energy levels are welcome as I have a large yard, great for playtime, and plenty of space to accommodate others. Plenty of experience with medicines and special needs animals, too. Routine is key with time management to make sure there adequate time for play and adventure. Every morning starts with a walk, and I typically take my own pet to the park twice a day. My home has an enclosed backyard with ample space to run around. When house/petsitting, I’ll always ensure pets are on a leash before exiting to run errands or go for a walk.

Annette is very warm and kind. My older dog is usually a little slow to warm up these days but he took to her right away during our meet and greet. She dropped in as discussed, shared photos and even brought a package in the house for me! Thank you Annette! Highly recommend!

She came and loved them like they were her own and kept us updated on everything! She was kind enough to grab our packages for us too! About: I'm a dog mom myself & I treat every dog with the exact same love, patience, and care that I give my own. I understand that leaving your pet in someone else’s care requires total peace of mind, which is why I prioritize strict attention to routine, safety, and proactive communication. I currently work from 7am - 3pm on weekdays. I am fully available on weekends and overnights. After 3pm on weekdays I am fully available for drop ins and walks. I have a fenced in yard, and a Golden Retriever who is very friendly and well trained. I make sure there is always a water in my dogs bowl and I am on schedule with her feeding times.

Lia was very communicative and left great visit notes for every visit with our cats, as well as sending videos. We were gone for 3 weeks for our honeymoon, but felt reassured with Lia checking in on them. When we came back, the cats were in good health and spirits, and everything was taken care of. We would recommend Lia again if the need arose and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone else!

About: I have experience in puppy obedience training and leash training, oral medication administration, experience handling dogs of all ages and sizes, especially with caring for stubborn dogs. Also I am very familiar with taking care of pups with anxiety or different fears. I am a full time student at Boston University, but have long breaks throughout my day where I could care for nearby pets in need of attention or walks, meaning lunchtime check ins or walks work particularly well with my schedule. I am happy to follow any preferences you have for pet care, including crating your dog (I have extensive experience crate training an unruly giant schnauzer puppy), leash preferences, and feeding schedules. I typically bring water bowls and extra water for my dogs on walks to keep them feeling their best and treats to keep them engaged (treat type depending on what your dog typically eats).

Fun thing about me is that I'm passionate about animals and working with them, I'm a very playful person don't mind to get my hands dirty. I am a dog mom of a 4 year old male bully and a 10 month old male siberian husky and l love them so much! I'd describe my personality as a warm hearted person, full of love and care fot animals, I'm very gentle and listen to attrntion, my bubbly person with a positive attitude allows me to be very friendly and accomodative that give me the energy to be very open and playful with pets. I'm looking for a pet sitting job, since l am fully available aylt anytime and anyday given fulltime and l am flexible and enjoy every moment with the any pet given as l learn them more. In my spare time, I like to do nature hikes/run, visit parks so there's a lot of walking, with my given expertise l will provide light housekeeping like vacuuming and cleaning up the area if required, give out medication or treats, do al lot of walks and play with dogs and more physical to gain a good connection, do some potty training if needed and enrichment and basic training for your pet. One thing you should know about me is I'm a very positive person who believes in my heart and understands how time is important so with that l will abide on how you want your pet to be treated and follow instructions to the things you personally require. My skills include being a team player, great communicator, and flexibility. I currently do not work, as l am a student and busy mostly with my studies. About: What sets me apart is my personalized approach—treating every pet like my own, with dedicated attention, consistent communication, and a deep understanding of each animal’s unique needs and personality. I work from home all week and have a pretty short working schedule. I have lots of time at home to make sure each pet has the best care they need while the owner is out. Been doing it for so long and it's the best job ever! I have a fenced yard with lots of space, i live in a home in a mixed suburban neighborhood and there's lots of walking space around the block, dog park 5 min away and great space at home (no kids, just my wife)

About: I have been an animal lover ever since I was little. I have had hamsters, fish, cats, and a dog that I helped to walk. I have volunteered at an animal shelter and have a passion for all animals. I currently work full-time but I would be able to drop-in before I start my full-time job and after I start my full-time job. I also would have more availability to drop in more times on a weekend. I currently have a cat at home that I take care of every day. I clean the litter box, fill his water, and feed him. I even have had to give him medication recently when he had to get some teeth removed.

AJ was great. I reached out just a few days before we needed help, and even with the last-minute changes (including thinking I had to cancel, and then uncanceling), she was incredibly accommodating. She stopped by, let Vinny out to pee, gave him a treat, spent a little time with him, and made sure everything was locked up before leaving. Vinny was happy and well cared for!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Monroeville choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Monroeville with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
