They took him for walks every day, kept up with his usual routine, and even let him sleep in bed with them, which he absolutely loves! Adisyn kept us updated throughout our entire trip with plenty of pictures and videos, and she was always available whenever we needed her. This was Sunny’s first time staying in someone else’s home, so we were a little nervous about how he would adjust, but they made him feel completely comfortable and at home. He came back to us happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. We wouldn’t think twice about leaving Sunny with Adisyn again. I currently have two Basset Hounds, ages 3 and 4, two 9-year-old pigs who are kept completely separate from the dogs, and a cat. I grew up with German Shepherds and reptiles, and over the years I’ve also had Great Danes, hamsters, ferrets, crayfish, and plenty of other animal friends. I’m comfortable with everything from big dogs to small animals, and I understand that every pet has their own routine, quirks, and comfort level. I know how hard it can be for pets when their people are away, so my biggest priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and as at home as possible. Whether that means lots of attention and playtime, a good walk, couch cuddles, or simply giving a more independent pet their space, I’m happy to follow their lead. I’ll treat your pets like I’d want someone to treat my ow, with patience, affection, and plenty of attention. 🐾 I am currently home all day and night most week days and some weekends. Your pets will be loved on constantly the entire time they are here. My two Bassets love having company and are always up for playing or cuddling. There’s plenty of couch space for dogs who like to snuggle, and they even have access to the bed—with stairs! I’m happy to accommodate both the social butterfly who wants to be part of everything and the dog who would rather have some space to relax. I don’t have a fully fenced-in yard, but I have plenty of yard space in a quiet neighborhood. There is a small, short fenced area directly off the porch with a patch of grass for quick potty breaks. Dogs can also be taken outside on a leash or tethered, depending on what they’re accustomed to and what their owner prefers. I’m also very accustomed to accidents in the house—one of my Bassets, Polly, has them regularly—so a dog who isn’t perfectly house-trained, has occasional accidents, or needs more frequent potty breaks is absolutely not a problem. I have an XL crate if that is something they prefer. My other Basset, Hank has bad anxiety and takes daily medications so that is not a problem either. Most importantly, I know being away from their people and usual surroundings can be stressful for pets. I want your dog to feel like they’re staying at a second home rather than just being boarded somewhere. I’ll do my best to stick to their routine, learn their quirks, give them plenty of attention, and make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved until you’re back 🐾❤️

Routine is key with time management to make sure there’s adequate time for play and adventure. Every morning starts with a walk, and I typically take my own pet to the park twice a day. My home has an enclosed backyard with ample space to run around. When house/petsitting, I’ll always ensure pets are on a leash before exiting to run errands or go for a walk.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for over 50 years. I've cared for my own pets as well as regularly helped family and friends by watching their dogs, walking them, and making sure they were well cared for while their owners are away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every dog like part of the family. I am retiring and love working with dogs, so my schedule is very flexible. This allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and care while keeping active and meeting new furry friends I provide a safe and loving environment with a fenced-in yard for supervised outdoor time. I make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and plenty of attention. I also enjoy keeping pets engaged with toys and fun activities, including an outdoor pool in the summer, so they stay happy, active and comfortable.
About: I’ve taken care of animals for over a decade now. It’s a passion- I went to Vet school for 6months. I am able to give insulin, give any medications. I am very comfortable with reactive dogs and I use to have a reactive dog myself so i understand it. I enjoy doing what the animal does, they like to sit around and hang out? Sure so do I! If they like to go on frequent walks and play all day? Okay I’m down! I’m very open minded and understanding of everyone’s situation. I’ve animal sat - Reptiles, Dogs, Cats, Birds, Rodents. The size makes no difference to me either, I’ve watched Great Danes and I’ve watched Corgis :) I’m not great at writing but I promise I’m great at caring for you animal 🫶🏻 I’m currently unemployed- I leave October 4th for CDL training so I just need to fill time and I would love nothing more than taking care of animals! I like to walk often - sometimes around the block but most times in the woods and for a couple miles. I’m also a gamer so I do enjoy sitting down to play for a couple hours out of the day. So I’m at home most of the day. I would more than likely come to your home but I’ll explain my living :) My boy Frodo is an off leash dog, I trained him and still continue to train him. Either me or my fiance will take him for a walk, I usually take him on about a 2mi walk. He eats 2 times a day(kibble and homemade). Lots and lots of playtime unless he’s sleeping we are doing something. Just kind of puts in your mind what I do with my animal <3

They took him for walks every day, kept up with his usual routine, and even let him sleep in bed with them, which he absolutely loves! Adisyn kept us updated throughout our entire trip with plenty of pictures and videos, and she was always available whenever we needed her. This was Sunny’s first time staying in someone else’s home, so we were a little nervous about how he would adjust, but they made him feel completely comfortable and at home. He came back to us happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. We wouldn’t think twice about leaving Sunny with Adisyn again. About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have experience caring for pets of all shapes, sizes, and personalities! I currently have two Basset Hounds, ages 3 and 4, two 9-year-old pigs who are kept completely separate from the dogs, and a cat. I grew up with German Shepherds and reptiles, and over the years I’ve also had Great Danes, hamsters, ferrets, crayfish, and plenty of other animal friends. I’m comfortable with everything from big dogs to small animals, and I understand that every pet has their own routine, quirks, and comfort level. I know how hard it can be for pets when their people are away, so my biggest priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and as at home as possible. Whether that means lots of attention and playtime, a good walk, couch cuddles, or simply giving a more independent pet their space, I’m happy to follow their lead. I’ll treat your pets like I’d want someone to treat my ow, with patience, affection, and plenty of attention. 🐾 I am currently home all day and night most week days and some weekends. Your pets will be loved on constantly the entire time they are here. My two Bassets love having company and are always up for playing or cuddling. There’s plenty of couch space for dogs who like to snuggle, and they even have access to the bed—with stairs! I’m happy to accommodate both the social butterfly who wants to be part of everything and the dog who would rather have some space to relax. I don’t have a fully fenced-in yard, but I have plenty of yard space in a quiet neighborhood. There is a small, short fenced area directly off the porch with a patch of grass for quick potty breaks. Dogs can also be taken outside on a leash or tethered, depending on what they’re accustomed to and what their owner prefers. I’m also very accustomed to accidents in the house—one of my Bassets, Polly, has them regularly—so a dog who isn’t perfectly house-trained, has occasional accidents, or needs more frequent potty breaks is absolutely not a problem. I have an XL crate if that is something they prefer. My other Basset, Hank has bad anxiety and takes daily medications so that is not a problem either. Most importantly, I know being away from their people and usual surroundings can be stressful for pets. I want your dog to feel like they’re staying at a second home rather than just being boarded somewhere. I’ll do my best to stick to their routine, learn their quirks, give them plenty of attention, and make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved until you’re back 🐾❤️

About: We’ve had dogs all our lives and have not been without a dog for the past 15 years. We love spending time with our furry friends and friend's and family's furbabies. We have experience with dogs of all sizes, from teacup chihuahuas to large great danes. Stephanie even worked at a doggy daycare in her teens/early 20s. While we mostly take care of dogs, we would love to have the privilege to spend time with your cat(s), too. We currently have 1 dog and 1 cat of our own and are ready to spend time with your special animal baby of any (except snakes for Stephanie- so sorry!) species. (If you have a cow that you'd like to be checked on, Stephanie is your girl!) We both work from home. When you aren't available or are just too darn tired to take Winnie the Poodle for a walk or they just need someone to spend some time with, hit us up and we’ll do it for you! Our schedule is pretty flexible. If our calendar here isn't showing that we’re available, send us a message anyway and we can probably work something out.
