Hey everyone! My name is AJ. I am a student at Pitt studying Psychology! I am a very responsible, safe, cautious & empathetic person. I will always ensure that your pet is safe, taken care of & loved on when they are with me. I am prepared for any medical emergency they may have. I have had pets my whole life, I also have my own fur babies! My mom is an animal lover, is a veterinary assistant and has volunteered a ton with a wildlife center, allowing me extensive experience over the last 20 years. She has always encouraged a love of animals in me and has allowed me to grow up with tons of experience with animal rehabilitation and care. I have experience with medicine giving (pills and shots) as well as some advanced care like subcutaneous fluid. I have had experience with many different animals. Birds, bunnies, dogs, cats, horses, llamas, rodents, even squirrels! I have also cared for many elderly pets. I am super excited to make your buddy feel at home with me.

AJ was great. I reached out just a few days before we needed help, and even with the last-minute changes (including thinking I had to cancel, and then uncanceling), she was incredibly accommodating. She stopped by, let Vinny out to pee, gave him a treat, spent a little time with him, and made sure everything was locked up before leaving. Vinny was happy and well cared for!
Aj did a wonderful job taking care of my little dog while I was away! She is a very responsible, caring, compassionate, and conscientious dog lover. Aj went above and beyond in providing drop-in visits that involved extra care and sensitivity, and I really appreciated her great communication. It was such a good feeling to know that Button was in good hands while I was traveling. I highly recommend Aj for loving and supportive pet care!

AJ is THE BEST. She followed my crews routine perfectly. Great communication and took the best pictures my cats have ever taken. I cannot say enough good things about her. Very trustworthy. Very caring.

Schedule
I have a good amount of free time that I would love to use for walking dogs/drop ins. I also am home for most of the week with my own pets, so would be happy to invite someone else in too!

I will go above and beyond to care for your pet. Any way I can make them more comfortable, I am willing to do. Like I previously mentioned I have experience with all pets and all ages of pets, so I feel confident in being able to properly care for your fur family member. I have a big heart, and a deep love for every animal. My heart is very full when someone trusts me with their pet because I know how much it takes to leave them with someone as a pet owner myself.
Pets
A typical day
I live very close to a dog park, and take my dog often. I am happy to take yours too if they enjoy the park! The dogs can also play with each other, we can play fetch, or we can go for walks during the day. Whatever activities your pet loves, I’m happy to help with.
