About: Hello! My name is Rachael, and I'm a graduate student who loves animals. My black cat, Zelda, has lived and traveled with me through six different countries and now lives with me here in Pittsburgh. I was raised in a household full of dog people and always lived with at least two dogs at any given time, so I have a lot of experience caring for and playing with dogs of various sizes and personalities. I also am experienced with caring for various other kinds of pets, from hedgehogs to lizards to fish to frogs. I'm a PhD student with a lot of flexibility in my schedule, so I typically schedule walks and drop-ins for the morning or evening. I also have no classes on Fridays and a lot of flexibility on weekends! I like to fit walks and visits into my daily routine in a way that helps me to get some extra steps in. When petsitting in a client's home, I always review all the instructions carefully. It's helpful for me to know as much as possible about the pet, such as any health or behavioral concerns I should be aware of, likes and dislikes, etc. I always respect a pet's boundaries and prioritize their safety and wellbeing. I also make sure to check in with the client regularly and alert them immediately of any concerns that need to be brought to their attention.

About: I have been an animal lover since as long as I can remember, albeit, my favorite animal is a dolphin, my love for cats and dogs runs deep. Currently, I work part-time so I will have lots of availability to play and care for your fur babies. I am available for boarding on weekends and other services on weekdays. Since I will be in your home caring for your fur babies, I’m sure I will have all I need to keep them well taken care of :)

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have cared for many, whether that’s my own, family, friends, and neighbors. I have walked, cared for, and helped train all dog types. I do not shy away from large breeds and will match their energy. If you have anxious or shy pets I will put in the time to get to know them and make them feel safe. Senior dogs with most special needs I have experienced. I am currently launching a business that allows for flexibility. I am wanting to find a feel good passion project and this fits perfectly into my schedule throughout the day. I will treat your pet and home as if you are there, friendly and respectfully. Knowing a pet is inside I am aware of escape artist so I do show caution opening the door. Depending on the person and place I can do a sweep through the house to make sure there were no accidents from your pet as well. While in my care, I am very aware of my surrounding and typically keep an extra leash, treats, and doggie bag on me as well. Depending on the energy level of your dog, I can always take them for a little extra run if needed.

About: One always wanted to have a dog of my own so taking care of other pets wood help me experience what I’ll need to know annd do when it’s the right time to have my own dog. I work early in the morning, after work I have nothing better to do besides take care of my family and my vehicles. I love to go to the park, travel, and go out to eat. I’m usually in the house in a safe and pleasant neighborhood, if I do go outside I’m either working, walking throughout the trail at our park or grabbing something to eat!. I rest assure everybody in my neighborhood doesn’t see me often only my neighbors. I honestly like it that way, it does protect us from what can possibly happen outside but I’m always protected and protective about everything!

About: I'm a dog mom myself & I treat every dog with the exact same love, patience, and care that I give my own. I understand that leaving your pet in someone else’s care requires total peace of mind, which is why I prioritize strict attention to routine, safety, and proactive communication. I currently work from 7am - 3pm on weekdays. I am fully available on weekends and overnights. After 3pm on weekdays I am fully available for drop ins and walks. I have a fenced in yard, and a Golden Retriever who is very friendly and well trained. I make sure there is always a water in my dogs bowl and I am on schedule with her feeding times.

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have experience caring for pets of all ages, from playful puppies to sweet seniors. I have two cats of my own and started Rover because I truly miss having a dog around and love spending time with animals. I work full-time, but picked up Rovering to make some extra cash and also fullfill a dog-sized whole in my heart from living with them my whole life. I am available anytime after 4pm on weekdays and all hours on weekends. Because I have two cats at home, I currently only offer care in my clients’ homes. I always try to keep pets comfortable by following their normal routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, and any special instructions. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs and want them to feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: I absolutely love spending time with furry friends! I’ve cared for puppies, senior dogs, and even some shy rescues. I enjoy taking dogs for long walks, playing fetch at the park, and giving all the belly rubs they deserve. I’m currently a college student with a flexible class schedule, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with pets throughout the week. I usually have mornings and evenings free, perfect for walks, playtime, and cuddles. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I live just a short walk away from a beautiful dog park where pets can get plenty of safe, supervised outdoor time. I always keep dogs on a leash during walks and pay close attention to their comfort and behavior. At home, I have two super friendly resident pets who love meeting new friends and are great at helping other pets feel relaxed and welcome. About: Growing up I've always wanted to be a vet and just around all sorts of animals. Fun thing about me is that I'm passionate about animals and working with them, I'm a very playful person don't mind to get my hands dirty. I am a dog mom of a 4 year old male bully and a 10 month old male siberian husky and l love them so much! I'd describe my personality as a warm hearted person, full of love and care fot animals, I'm very gentle and listen to attrntion, my bubbly person with a positive attitude allows me to be very friendly and accomodative that give me the energy to be very open and playful with pets. I'm looking for a pet sitting job, since l am fully available aylt anytime and anyday given fulltime and l am flexible and enjoy every moment with the any pet given as l learn them more. In my spare time, I like to do nature hikes/run, visit parks so there's a lot of walking, with my given expertise l will provide light housekeeping like vacuuming and cleaning up the area if required, give out medication or treats, do al lot of walks and play with dogs and more physical to gain a good connection, do some potty training if needed and enrichment and basic training for your pet. One thing you should know about me is I'm a very positive person who believes in my heart and understands how time is important so with that l will abide on how you want your pet to be treated and follow instructions to the things you personally require. About: I have always been a dog lover at heart! My family has 7 dogs of our own, both big and small. I am no stranger to what it takes to take care of your furry companion! I am currently looking for a full-time job outside of Rover, so I am available almost everyday! I prefer to be contacted 2 days in advance for visits. About: I have experience with overnight house sitting for my friends and neighbors, but have also been using Rover for approximately 5 years. I am also a pet owner myself for the past 8 years. I love dogs of all sizes and have a special place in my heart for big dogs! I do very well with cats and love bonding with them on their terms. I am a preschool teacher and work on weekdays from 7:30am to 6:30 pm (I work a lot of overtime) and am willing to check on pets in the evening. However, the time that I am at work makes it impossible to give dogs that need to be taken out on walks during the day an impossibility. I can house sit for cats during the week as long as they are able to be alone for the 11 hours that I will be gone. Feel free to ask any questions for clarifications or exceptions. I work more than full-time as a preschool teacher for about 11 hours per day. This makes house sitting for dogs over the weekdays impossible. However, I would be willing to take on house sitting for cats during the week if they are able to be alone for 11 hours. My weekends are completely clear and I can house sit for those days. My apartment will not be available to take in additional pets. My landlord has a policy on that. However, when working with other's pets, I have experience with leashing, harnessing, and walking safely with a variety of dogs or cats (yes, I have walked my cats before!). I am very conscious and situationally aware with my own pets and those of my friends, family, neighbors, and clients.

About: I have been an animal lover ever since I was little. I have had hamsters, fish, cats, and a dog that I helped to walk. I have volunteered at an animal shelter and have a passion for all animals. I currently work full-time but I would be able to drop-in before I start my full-time job and after I start my full-time job. I also would have more availability to drop in more times on a weekend. I currently have a cat at home that I take care of every day. I clean the litter box, fill his water, and feed him. I even have had to give him medication recently when he had to get some teeth removed.
