Whether this means walking the dogs, grooming, playing or sitting with the cats, administering medicine, feeding the fish, or watering your beloved plants, I can do it. While you are away, I will treat your pets as my own. Rest assured, they will be lavished with the love and attention that they need! I have over 14 years of professional animal handling experience, though I've taken care of animals since I was a kid - primarily cats and our family dog, but also more exotic critters like birds, raccoons, and squirrels! My professional experience includes wildlife rehabilitation, vet assistance, and kennel work. I worked at the Pittsburgh Zoo for 10 years, providing animal care to a large range of species from reptiles to birds to bugs. I love all animals and can't wait to meet yours and let them feel cared for in any special way they need while you are away. Thank you for considering me! I currently have a wide-open schedule, allowing lots of time for play and special attention to any specific care requirements. I am available for overnight care, walks during the week, but sorry no boarding at this time. My home has a fenced-in yard where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, fresh air, and play. If you prefer, I can keep my dogs completely separate from yours and provide a quiet, comfortable space just for your pup. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child, have over 20 years experience working with dogs. I’ve worked with puppies to senior dogs including ones with disabilities. I personally had a dog that lost her mobility due to a spinal cord injury but with hard work and consistency I was able to teach her to walk again. I work for myself from my house so I have plenty of time to help with your fur baby. I currently have one dog after our second one recently passed. Her and I go on two or three walks daily each over 2 miles. She would love to have a friend to play with again. I have a large back yard and a super pet friendly two year old puppy to keep your dog company. If need be I can crate your dog but highly unlikely it’ll ever be needed.
