“Ashlyn was great! She made the the dropoff so easy, and we had no issues. She was great with sending pictures, and eased my worries big time. This was the first time we've left our little guy in someone else's care, and I was very nervous, but she did a fantastic job walking lots and taking care of him. We would definitely have her watch him again 😁✋”

“Our mini golden doodle loved spending the weekend with her new friends! Highly recommend! Received pics and videos the whole time! We will definitely be booking again! Thank guys for everything! 🥰”

“Ali was a perfect fit for Lizzy! We couldn't have been happier. We went away for a week, without access to Wi-Fi. Ali met with us beforehand, and we instantly felt comfortable to leave Lizzy in her care. She was so gentle, Lizzy relaxed and felt right at home. Thank you so much! Highly recommend and would definitely use Ali again.”

“Beatriz always does an amazing job! She is so sweet and caring and my dog is always so happy when I come pick her up. I can tell she takes amazing care of the dogs in her care and my dog has even started getting excited when we pull up to her house. She is so responsive and always sends the cutest pictures and videos of my dog while I’m gone! She’s truly the best and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter, she will treat your pet like her own!”

“I wish 10 stars was an option.....Tia and her family were amazing with Georgia and Sammi. I highly highly recommend them to anyone else needing boarding. She took extra steps to make sure our dogs were comfortable, loved, and well taken care of the whole time. The entire Dramble family was great! Thank you Tia!! We will be back :)”

“Justin did a great job watching my dog. She's older and gets some seperation anxiety but Justin managed it all perfectly. She enjoyed walks and couch naps and Justin periodically sent picture updates. He was flexible with drop off and pick up. I'd definitely work with him again in the future and recommend him to others.”

“Breanna went above and beyond when watching our pup! She easily made him feel at home and provided us with many updates throughout his stay. So grateful for her dog whispering!”

About: I’ve grown up with animals and have ALWAYS had a special place in my heart for them. I have worked in boarding facilities for dogs and cats and currently have 2 overly spoiled dogs I try to take everywhere with me, and 1 cat who runs the household. I know how hard it is to leave them behind and always be sure they are in the best, most loving care possible. I have work from home capability to tend to your best friend 24/7! No amount of potty breaks are too many and there are no time restrictions on feedings. I have a fenced in yard out back and 2 friendly dogs for your fur baby to keep company. I have a play pen for smaller dogs if necessary.
“Nico always has a great time. Jennifer is really great about communicating and sending pictures/videos. The backyard is a great space for him to play and run around with her dogs.”

“Freya had a great time staying with Ellyn and her family! She felt right at home, and loved running around in the yard and Frick Park. Ellyn was very responsive and helpful when our flight was delayed, and Freya had to stay a bit longer than planned. Thank you!”

“Natasha and her family treated Tito like one of their own! Excellent communication daily & sends pictures! Tito needed attention and he definitely got it with Natasha!”

“Nelia is so great! She provides updates at least two times per day, and with multiple pictures. She is very easy to communicate and with timely reply. The kids are very friendly as well. Nelia and her family are definitely recommended! Thank you, Nelia!”

“Raeann is truly the best. She cares for Bronn as if he were her own. She always sends lots of updates and pictures (which as anxious dog mom I appreciate immensely). I could not recommend her enough and Bronn is looking forward his next visit!”

“Amanda and Jack were absolutely amazing! My girl, Onyx, had an issue with her elbow, and they handled the situation with incredible care, compassion, and professionalism. They kept me updated with photos throughout her stay, which gave me tremendous peace of mind, and they even took her on a nature hike so she could enjoy some time outdoors. It's clear they genuinely care about the animals they look after. I highly recommend Amanda's services and wouldn't hesitate to trust them with Onyx again!”

“As always, Valerie was amazing with our little furry family member Penny. It gives us great peace of mind to know that Penny is being cared for by someone as kind, thoughtful, and competent as Valerie. We highly recommend her for your pet! She is the best and we are grateful that she can care for Penny!”

“The experience was perfect. From the pre-meeting, to the communication during the stay, and the videos and photos. Velma clearly had a good time with Adrienne and her pups. Thanks so much”

“We would definitely recommend Tara to anyone who needed a pet sitter. She was friendly, professional, and took excellent care of our Jack Russel, Zoey. We were kind of nervous about leaving Zoey with a sitter, because she is a unique pooch and needs someone who can work with and understand her quirks. Zoey took a shine to Tara and her family, all of whom were absolutely wonderful with her. Tara sent pictures frequently throughout the first couple days to ease our nerves, and Zoey looked happy and healthy in every one of them. It really allowed us to enjoy our time away, without worrying or feeling guilty about leaving our girl behind. I know Zoey would love to spend time at Tara's again in the future - she had so much fun, it was like a vacation for her too! ”

About: I love animals! All of them! I have had pets my whole life. I was the kid that always brought home strays and I never grew out of it. I am also a volunteer, foster parent, and rescuer for several organizations around the area. I have been lucky enough to find a very patient Fiance Chad who has taken to the role of dog dad very well! We currently do not have any permanent residents as we sadly lost all 3 of our seniors in the last few months, but we frequently have a house full of fosters, and clients. We are very patient and caring and are comfortable with all sorts. We have taken on several special needs foster dogs throughout the years. We have experience with puppies, kittens, the very big and the very small. We have a ranch house on a quiet cul-de-sac with a dog door that accesses a good size fully fenced in back yard for the dogs to run or sun. We believe that pets know pet people so let's set up a meet and greet to see if your pets will pick our house to come hang out!! I work for a veterinary practice so I am around animals all day everyday! There is no part of my life that does not have animals in it. The dogs have free range of the main living area of the home including the couches. They can also access the fully fenced back yard via the dog door. The little ones however are not allowed out unattended because we do get a lot of wildlife.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child, have over 20 years experience working with dogs. I’ve worked with puppies to senior dogs including ones with disabilities. I personally had a dog that lost her mobility due to a spinal cord injury but with hard work and consistency I was able to teach her to walk again. I work for myself from my house so I have plenty of time to help with your fur baby. I currently have one dog after our second one recently passed. Her and I go on two or three walks daily each over 2 miles. She would love to have a friend to play with again. I have a large back yard and a super pet friendly two year old puppy to keep your dog company. If need be I can crate your dog but highly unlikely it’ll ever be needed.

“Vivian and her family are the best! Above and beyond I could ever expect or hope for. They are excellent with my dogs in every way. I feel content and at ease knowing they are being taken care of by Vivian and her family. I recommend Vivian highly and without hesitation.”

I have never left my dog with a sitter before unless it was family. I was nervous until I met Gary. We had a meet and greet to make sure my pup was comfortable there and when I did go out of town Gary sent me pics and updates daily. I have now used his services twice and won’t be taking Aries elsewhere as long as Gary is available!

Augusta watches our dog all the time!!!! She and her family is so welcoming and caring. They are apart of our family now. I wouldn’t trust any one else with our dog. Sometimes we need her last minute and she always helps us out. Very reliable and loving. Highly recommend!!! No other sitter is like her. Seriously I would book with her. You would no be disappointed. Thank you so very much!!!

Finn had another wonderful stay with Brittany! She’s the best and takes such good care of our big baby. She provides frequent updates with pictures and videos showing what a great time Finn is having. It makes for such a worry free vacation when we know he’s in good hands and treated like family.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
