“Victoria was amazing with our two dogs. She was extremely accommodating, kept us very informed, and treated our dogs as her own. Would definitely recommend her to others, and I hope Piper and Chester can sleep over again in the future! Thank you!”

“Breanna was absolutely lovely! Zinnia had gotten sick on the way to their home and Breanna was still okay with watching over her! She kept me updated the entire time I was gone, sent lots of pictures, and followed my instructions to a tee (including the extra ones I added last minute to help Zinnia feel better)! Zinnia got used to her very quick and had a wonderful time playing, lounging, and going for walks together!”

“We left our mini schnauzer in the BEST care for our 2 week trip away. Andrew, Karen, and Finn were the best hosts to our boy. We received many daily updates of photos/videos of Moose having the best time playing with Finn. They were always so quick to respond to any messages we sent. When we picked up Moose, he was clean and brushed. I’m one of those crazy dog moms and am 10000% happy with how Moose was taken care of! Thank you so much Andrew and Karen!”

“Regina was a life saver. She responded incredibly quickly for my last minute request. My Mila absolutely loved her stay there. Regina took great care of Mila, and made me feel very comfortable with leaving her there. I would absolutely request Regina in the future.”

“Beatriz and her family are wonderful people who truly care about your pets. I was nervous about leaving my two yorkies who have some health issues and require twice daily medications. She took them on without a second thought. She sent me pictures and updates to help me feel at ease. When I came to get them, my dogs were relaxed/very comfortable there. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter.”

“Raeann was amazing! From the initial meet and greet it was clear that Hudson would be well cared for. During his stay, she shared pictures/updates of their time together. She opened up her home to him. I will absolutely consider Raeann again to take care of Hudson while I travel!”

“She was great with kona, and Kona has a lot of energy! I got lot’s of updates with pictures/videos. I would recommend her and I would go back again if needed!”

“Tamakia was very great with communication from the start. She gave my dog the attention he needed and sent updates and pics throughout his stay. He received plenty of outside time and was able to make himself at home during his stay.”

“We couldn’t be happier with Nelia. This is the second time she has watched our dog, and once again she went above and beyond. It’s such a relief knowing our dog is well cared for while we’re away. Nelia is incredibly attentive and communicative. Our dog is very comfortable with Nelia and her family. I highly recommend Nelia!”

“Amanda and Jack were absolutely amazing! My girl, Onyx, had an issue with her elbow, and they handled the situation with incredible care, compassion, and professionalism. They kept me updated with photos throughout her stay, which gave me tremendous peace of mind, and they even took her on a nature hike so she could enjoy some time outdoors. It's clear they genuinely care about the animals they look after. I highly recommend Amanda's services and wouldn't hesitate to trust them with Onyx again!”

About: I’ve grown up with animals and have ALWAYS had a special place in my heart for them. I have worked in boarding facilities for dogs and cats and currently have 2 overly spoiled dogs I try to take everywhere with me, and 1 cat who runs the household. I know how hard it is to leave them behind and always be sure they are in the best, most loving care possible. I have work from home capability to tend to your best friend 24/7! No amount of potty breaks are too many and there are no time restrictions on feedings. I have a fenced in yard out back and 2 friendly dogs for your fur baby to keep company. I have a play pen for smaller dogs if necessary.
“Sandy did a great job caring for our Jack. She asked lots of questions, sent us lots of pics & videos and was very attentive to his comfort while in her home. We love how well she cared for Jack.”

“Adrienne is so great with our one and half year old mini poodle. We board our puppy for three weeks with Adrienne. She sent me photos and videos and reassure me everything went well with my puppy. I was so anxious leaving my puppy for so long the very first time, but Adrienne is so professional and caring for my puppy. When my puppy came back, his temperament didn’t change. He came back to his regular routine right away. I take that as a very good sign. My puppy must have been taken very good care of. We will for sure be a regular with Adrienne from now on.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child, have over 20 years experience working with dogs. I’ve worked with puppies to senior dogs including ones with disabilities. I personally had a dog that lost her mobility due to a spinal cord injury but with hard work and consistency I was able to teach her to walk again. I work for myself from my house so I have plenty of time to help with your fur baby. I currently have one dog after our second one recently passed. Her and I go on two or three walks daily each over 2 miles. She would love to have a friend to play with again. I have a large back yard and a super pet friendly two year old puppy to keep your dog company. If need be I can crate your dog but highly unlikely it’ll ever be needed.

“Wonderful experience with Jeremy and his wife! We were so grateful to find them on short notice, and they took wonderful care of our pup. I think she was almost sad to leave she had so much fun! We will be calling them again 💗”

“Valerie is awesome with our little pup Whiskey. Val is always sharing photos and videos of our lil guys day. We feel so trusted in leaving our pup in the hands of Val as we know he’s in great hands and will get the attention he gets when he’s with us. Love having Whiskey taken care of by Val when mom and dad have to be away.”

We felt confident leaving Willow with Jessica that she would be well taken care of and loved. Jessica kept us up to date with pictures and Willow looked the princess she believes she is. She definitely made herself at home. We will definitely use Jessica again when we go away. Robin Harvey

Kristina was amazing. Tyger has never been left alone with anyone my daughter didn't know. She was extremely nervous. Kristina sent pictures and kept my daughters anxiety low. Tyger also enjoyed Kristina. She is the only person I will use and I recommend her for any dogs.
Augusta watches our dog all the time!!!! She and her family is so welcoming and caring. They are apart of our family now. I wouldn’t trust any one else with our dog. Sometimes we need her last minute and she always helps us out. Very reliable and loving. Highly recommend!!! No other sitter is like her. Seriously I would book with her. You would no be disappointed. Thank you so very much!!!

Finn had another wonderful stay with Brittany! She’s the best and takes such good care of our big baby. She provides frequent updates with pictures and videos showing what a great time Finn is having. It makes for such a worry free vacation when we know he’s in good hands and treated like family.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
