I work on Rover both part-time and full-time, depending on how busy I am or if it's around the holidays. Because my schedule is fairly flexible I try to accommodate changes as best as possible.

I live in an apartment with large sunny windows and high ceilings that cats tend to love. There’s a dog park nearby that can accommodate friendly or unfriendly dogs because there often are no other dogs. I typically do not go to the dog park if another dog is there just to be safe. I think it’s also important to note that in the case of boarding, I live at home with my partner. He is also extremely caring and loving with pets, and sometimes gets along with them even better than me! I am the primary caregiver at home for pets, but he sometimes helps with walks or feeding at times if needed.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs during our time together or needs specific medical care. I am not trained in medical care outside of the normal day-to-day care for pets. I can administer oral medications but nothing injectable. Also, please let me know about your pet's energy level and temperament. I am willing to work with most energy levels, depending on my workload and schedule. However, I prefer to stay away from aggressive pets or pets with intense separation anxiety because I don't have the proper training in those areas. I do have some experience with animals who have minimal nerves and anxiety. However, I prefer to work with relatively calm animals. I will work with any pet that I get along with if I have the time for it. Feel free to reach out if you are questioning anything and we can chat about it!

A typical day would revolve around your pet's specific needs and schedule. I typically can accommodate feeding and walk schedules that closely match their normal routine at home. However, the pets I care for must be able to have some flexibility in their routines because my schedule is not always the same day to day. I’m happy to take your dog to the dog park around the corner from my apartment to play and run around if the park is empty or available. I can also walk around your home or my neighborhood, depending on the location of the booking. There is a scenic trail and riverfront access near my home for longer walks and excursions. Typically, if your dog is up for it or requires it, I can take them on a few long walks a day for 30-60 min each.

Hi! I’m Erin, thanks for checking out my profile! I grew up with a dog and numerous cats throughout the years so I’ve had a lot of personal experience with pets. I love animals, so much so that I decided to become vegan about ten years ago. My experience with pets is that they are usually very comfortable with me! I’ve had numerous experiences where a pet is usually not friendly with strangers, and owners are surprised to see how comfortable they are with me. When watching your pet, I plan to spend quality time with them and I also make sure to send photo and video updates to make sure owners feel happy and comfortable knowing that their pet is in good hands! When I take care of your pet, I aim for it to be a positive experience for everyone and something like a pet vacation! I hope that your furry friend will feel happy and loved in my care and you can come back home with them feeling that they had fun and a great experience. Overall, I will do everything I can to help your pet feel at home whether it’s in my home or yours.

Erin has looked after our dog in her home twice now. She does a wonderful job and our dog seems happy with her. Would highly recommend.
We’ve left our dog and cat with Erin many times, and they are always so well taken care of and happy when we return. Erin sends tons of photos and regular updates, which gives us great peace of mind while we’re away. Communication is always excellent, and we truly trust her with our pets. Highly recommend!
Very accommodating of my last minute booking and to good care of my shy cat.
Awesome communication, she took great care of my dog who was only a few weeks post surgery. It was complicated with her medications and restrictions but Erin did fantastic. I’m glad my pup was able to have such a good caregiver for her mini vacay as well :)
