“Olivia took great care of our cats while we were away! One of them is very anxious, and she has worked hard to earn his trust so he's comfortable with her looking after him. She communicates often, and asks if she's not sure something is right. Our kitties were more relaxed when we returned than they usually are after we go away.”

About: I’ve had small dogs and been a foster for local rescues for many years. My expertise is small dog care but I have also been a pet sitter for cats and larger dogs as well. I am comfortable working with senior pets too. I will work with you to provide your pets the care they are used to when you are home. I can watch small dogs in my home or can pet sit your small or large dogs or cats in your home. I want to provide your pets with the care they are used to when you are home. I want them to be happy and you to feel secure knowing they are well cared for while you are gone.
“Tony has been a consistent high performer when it comes to the care of our dog. I appreciate how in tune he is with our dogs' needs. He not only provides basic care giving, but also love and affection for our pup in my family's absence. I highly recommend him.”

“Mary took such great care of our handsome tuxedo cat, Sylvester. I would highly recommend her as she is a reliable, very dependable and very caring person. Also, she sent us great daily pics of Sylvester which we really appreciated.”

“Rachel took great care of all 4 of my cats! She spent time with them and gave Jake his meds, no problem. She's got a great attitude and attention to detail. I'd definitely use her again.”

“Keilah is a great pet sitter! I have an extremely shy and anxious cat and somehow she got him to come out and play a little and even got a photo of him giving her a kiss! I was shocked! I recommend her for any pet needs and will absolutely be going back to her.”

About: Hi pet parents! My name is Cristi and I am currently a master’s student. I can’t think of a better way to take a break from long hours of studying than to help you with your dog, cat, or other small pet in any way that I can. I spend most of my time at home, so I have a lot of availability for boarding (typically daytime-only, no over-nights), and any other needs you might have. I understand that life is hectic and that things come up, so I am very flexible and willing to work with your schedule! I can travel to you for walking, feeding, playing, letting outside, etc. and boarding (daytime only, no overnight). I prefer to travel a maximum of 10mi to you, but I’m willing to drive further for an increased rate. I grew up with dogs and cats, and I’ve personally owned a cat and a rabbit. Additionally, I’ve taken care of dogs (and a rabbit!) for friends and family over the past few years. Just let me know how I can help you! I’m looking forward to making new furry friends! I’m currently a student so in between classes and studying I would love to check in on your pets! My schedule is very flexible so we can work together to figure out a plan for meeting your pet’s needs while you’re away! I do not offer services in my home, but I don’t mind staying at your place for as long as you need (no overnights)! Pets are always more comfortable in their own environment, so it will be the ideal situation for both of us!

I have a full time job so I’m available varying times throughout the week and weekends, but i will always be sure to take care of the pets i’ve committed to caring for. I have one friendly dog at home and a fenced in yard for dogs that are friendly with other dogs. I also have a closed off large area for dogs that would rather not interact with other dogs. In a clients home I will be vary attentive to your pet and respectful of your space.
About: I had numerous dogs growing up and currently have one of my own, Finley, a Goldendoodle; I adore looking after pets and others. Dogs of all energy levels are welcome as I have a large yard, great for playtime, and plenty of space to accommodate others. Plenty of experience with medicines and special needs animals, too. Routine is key with time management to make sure there adequate time for play and adventure. Every morning starts with a walk, and I typically take my own pet to the park twice a day. My home has an enclosed backyard with ample space to run around. When house/petsitting, I’ll always ensure pets are on a leash before exiting to run errands or go for a walk.

About: I have not had any professional experience or job taking care of pets, but I’ve taken care of my 2 dogs for the last 5 years. I set my availability for specific dates due to either school and/or my job. Outside of these dates I’m free to take care of your adorable pets. I will care for them by making sure they have food and water, taking them on walks, playing with them, and I will make sure your house is safe and locked after.
About: I absolutely love spending time with furry friends! I’ve cared for puppies, senior dogs, and even some shy rescues. I enjoy taking dogs for long walks, playing fetch at the park, and giving all the belly rubs they deserve. I’m responsible, punctual, and make sure each pet gets personalized attention and affection while you’re away. I’m currently a college student with a flexible class schedule, which allows me to spend plenty of quality time with pets throughout the week. I usually have mornings and evenings free, perfect for walks, playtime, and cuddles. Taking care of animals is a great way for me to relax and recharge between classes—it honestly makes my day better! I make sure every pet in my care feels safe, happy, and loved. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I live just a short walk away from a beautiful dog park where pets can get plenty of safe, supervised outdoor time. I always keep dogs on a leash during walks and pay close attention to their comfort and behavior. At home, I have two super friendly resident pets who love meeting new friends and are great at helping other pets feel relaxed and welcome. I keep my space clean, calm, and pet-friendly, with lots of cozy spots for rest and play. Your furry friend will be treated just like family here! 🐶💛
“Savannah was super communicative and . I could tell she was really passionate about the work and knew my pets (a dog and a cat) would be in good hands while I was away. Would absolutely recommend her as a pet-sitter to others.”

About: I have been an animal lover ever since I was little. I have had hamsters, fish, cats, and a dog that I helped to walk. I have volunteered at an animal shelter and have a passion for all animals. I currently work full-time but I would be able to drop-in before I start my full-time job and after I start my full-time job. I also would have more availability to drop in more times on a weekend. I currently have a cat at home that I take care of every day. I clean the litter box, fill his water, and feed him. I even have had to give him medication recently when he had to get some teeth removed.
About: I grew up with dogs and cats in my home as a child, I also had a few other kinds of animals (my mother had a dream of having a homestead and fulfilled it! Haha) . Anywho I love all animals but dogs and kitties hold a special place in my heart. I understand schedules can get busy and the guilt of not being able to take our pets on consistent outings is deep, and sometimes a vacation is needed. Don't worry though, because I am here for all of your dog walking and pet sitting needs! :)) I am currently working and taking a gap year to save for college! My schedule is flexible and I more so would like to see what works best for you and see if that works for me, play it by request! I understand dogs need to go out for bathroom breaks consistently . I am a very active person so for dogs that have more pent up energy longer walks or more play time is no problem! My dogs always had dietary restrictions so I am very understanding of dietary problems in our four legged friends. (I will never feed them processed "people" food for the sake of their stomachs and wellbeing and your home and wallets!) I think if cats and dogs could rate my pets I would get 5 stars across the board...just saying 🤷🏿♀️

A someone who has been around pets their whole life, I pay very close attention to detail. I cater to you and your pets needs by asking questions and going above and beyond.
About: My family has had pets since before I was born! I’ve helped care for critters from cats, dogs, rodents, fish, and even reptiles (all of varying ages and needs) for most of my life. They truly are our family, so I take very seriously the needs and comfort of your pets. Respect, Kindness, and Reliability are what I’m all about! I work in a Retail setting, so the shifts vary. But I am confident we’ll be able to configure a satisfactory schedule for the care of your pets! I offer my care in your home! Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wilmerding
Gary has been an incredible help and someone I know I can always count on. They are dependable, always show up to let my pet out, and treat my pet with genuine care and kindness. Whenever I need to make changes to the schedule, he’s always understanding, flexible, and willing to accommodate my requests without hesitation

Olivia was so easy to communicate with and kept us in the loop with things outside of caring for our dogs. One of our dogs also takes awhile to warm up to new people, but really had no trouble during our initial meet and greet. It was great to go away and know that she was taking amazing care of our pets!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Wilmerding with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
