About: I had numerous dogs growing up and currently have one of my own, Finley, a Goldendoodle; I adore looking after pets and others. Dogs of all energy levels are welcome as I have a large yard, great for playtime, and plenty of space to accommodate others. Plenty of experience with medicines and special needs animals, too. Routine is key with time management to make sure there’s adequate time for play and adventure. Every morning starts with a walk, and I typically take my own pet to the park twice a day. My home has an enclosed backyard with ample space to run around. When house/petsitting, I’ll always ensure pets are on a leash before exiting to run errands or go for a walk.
About: I love dogs and grew up with them! Though I don't have the space for them now, I've been missing some puppy playtime! Both of my parents are vets as well, so I'm also pretty well versed in all things pet care! I do work full-time, but a lot of my job can be done from home depending on the amount of notice I have before discussing that with my boss. Lucas was excellent with all of our animals! Not only did he care for everyone expertly but he left the sink and pet dishes clean and orderly (not expected but very much appreciated!). He also handled medication for our elderly cat, which is a sigh of relief for when we go on weekend adventures and short trips (something we used to not be able to do before finding helpers such as Lucas :) ).
Tracie is incredibly reliable and I love that she sends lots of pics. Tracie can buy before our arranged sitting time to meet the dogs. I have two dogs- one of whom can be intimidating with her bark. Tracie was completely unfazed and my dog warmed to her immediately. Highly recommend.
