Hello! My name is Amy and I can't wait to meet you and your four-legged friend! I live with my dog-loving partner, Ben, in Point Breeze. I work from home in the edtech industry and am a former classroom teacher. We have two very friendly Scottie dogs, who can join your pup on walks (or not, if you prefer)! I have spent the last 10 years caring for dogs through Rover, which I decided to do shortly after I lost my own dog to a heart tumor. I previously worked as a veterinary technician while I put myself through grad school, so I am well-versed in basic canine and feline medical care. Whenever I enter a new home, I demonstrate calm but open body languages toward all pets. I find that, if I give them space and time to approach me, we’re usually buddies for life!!

Amy has been great with our last minute requests! My partner and I have never used rover and needed someone within the week. We were very nervous, but Amy responded within the hour to set up a meet and greet. She is extremely responsive and accommodated last minute changes and requests. You can tell she really cares about your animals. I have already booked with her again!
This is the third time Amy has cared for our little crew of three cats, and they adore her! It is very comforting knowing we can go away and have the cats be with somebody they know and love!

Schedule
I am currently working from home and I love to step away for breaks, so my availability is wide open! And let me know if you’d like Kraken and Grendel to come along on a walk/visit or if you’d prefer they stay at home.
