About: For the past 10 plus years, I have volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I care for dogs by walking and feeding them. I have been a lifelong dog owner, and I currently have two dogs: a dachshund and a medium-sized Labrador/Pit Bull mix. Spending time with dogs is something I enjoy, and caring for them is rewarding. Their companionship brings me a great deal of happiness. I am available during the day as well as in the evenings. Anytime after 5pm is perfect for me! I can do weekend mornings and days as well. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, especially playing with their favorite toys. We often play with a ball outside and enjoy relaxing together in the sunshine.

About: I have loved and cared for animals my whole life. I currently have three dogs and one cat of my own and have always grown up surrounded by animals. Since I was 13 I have cared for neighbors and friends pets where I have gained experience with playful puppies, big breed dogs, and giving medication to senior pets. I also have experience volunteering at animal shelters and have been exposed to many different personalities from all types of pets! I am currently studying biology at a local pittsburgh college where I have classes in the afternoon. For the most part my schedule is pretty flexible and I am available mornings, late afternoons, and evenings! I have three dogs and one cat of my own at home so I know how to make pets feel comfortable and well loved. I will make sure to provide a safe and trusting environment wherever I go. I’ll send regular photo updates through the app communication and ensure I have all of the pets history before every stay.

About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was a teenager in high school. My friends, family, and neighbors would rely on and trust me to check-in, walk, feed, and care for their pets while they were out of town and would return home knowing their pets were well cared for while they were away! I am a recent Physician Assistant graduate looking for part-time work while studying for my boards! Rover allows me to create the perfect work schedule for myself, while also allowing sufficient time during my day to focus on my studies. I love caring for pets in the comfort of their own home, where they can stay in a familiar and stress-free environment. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual routine and needs, and I’m happy to provide everything from feeding and walks to playtime and keeping their space clean and comfortable. I understand how important it is to feel confident that your pet is safe and well cared for while you’re away, and I treat every pet as if they were my own.

About: I’ve taken care of animals for over a decade now. It’s a passion- I went to Vet school for 6months. I am able to give insulin, give any medications. I am very comfortable with reactive dogs and I use to have a reactive dog myself so i understand it. I enjoy doing what the animal does, they like to sit around and hang out? Sure so do I! If they like to go on frequent walks and play all day? Okay I’m down! I’m very open minded and understanding of everyone’s situation. I’ve animal sat - Reptiles, Dogs, Cats, Birds, Rodents. The size makes no difference to me either, I’ve watched Great Danes and I’ve watched Corgis :) I’m not great at writing but I promise I’m great at caring for you animal 🫶🏻 I’m currently unemployed- I leave October 4th for CDL training so I just need to fill time and I would love nothing more than taking care of animals! I like to walk often - sometimes around the block but most times in the woods and for a couple miles. I’m also a gamer so I do enjoy sitting down to play for a couple hours out of the day. So I’m at home most of the day. I would more than likely come to your home but I’ll explain my living :) My boy Frodo is an off leash dog, I trained him and still continue to train him. Either me or my fiance will take him for a walk, I usually take him on about a 2mi walk. He eats 2 times a day(kibble and homemade). Lots and lots of playtime unless he’s sleeping we are doing something. Just kind of puts in your mind what I do with my animal <3

About: I have had dogs in my household since I was a baby. I moved to pittsburgh in 2021, and before that was living with my parents who had four dogs! Right now, I have 3 cats. I love to dogsit and spend time with other people's babies! I have experience in dog sitting, and have spent some time working in dog daycare/boarding. I am currently not working a typical job so I am available 7 days a week most weeks and can spend all of my time with your pet if needed! I am dedicated to keeping your pets safe and happy by keeping a close eye on them and making sure that they are loved and cared for.

About: I have been caring for animals of many species all of my life from dog and cats to horses and snakes, frogs, birds and everything in between. Pet care has been my career. I have worked with animals of all ages and abilities and can provide specialized care for animals who need it. In addition to my animal husbandry experience I am also an accredited fear free dog trainer, so I am willing to care for dogs with behavioral issues and I can provide enrichment during visits. I work part time as a dog trainer and part time as a pet sitter, most of my availability for pet sitting is during the daytime and weekdays. Safety is my utmost priority when it comes to my clients pets. I use fear free techniques while engaging with pets and I always double check to make sure pets are secured in their gear while walking and back in their home upon return. I am vigilant on walks to keep distance from hazards and triggers for reactive dogs.

About: I have worked with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, Im not afraid of the teething stages or having to give the old guys a boost up the stairs. My most notable qualities are responsibility and respect; that goes for your home and your pets. I want to make them feel comfortable with a new face and some attention while you’re away! My current work schedule changes week to week but I am very flexible with hours for the days marked available on my calendar. Im comfortable getting up early before work to get their day started. I am available for walking, feeding, play-time, etc. I am unable to keep pets in my apartment at this time but can bring them to hiking trails or dog parks for exercise at your request. I can also keep them comfortable in your home/yard space.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and grew up in a family that always had dogs around. 🐾 We’ve had everything from tiny Chihuahuas and Yorkies to Labs, Dalmatians, Golden Retrievers, and plenty of rescue pups in between. My family rescued dogs for many years, so I grew up loving on animals of all sizes, breeds, personalities, and backgrounds. I currently have two cats of my own, so I’m definitely a cat lover, but I truly have a soft spot for all animals! I’m comfortable with both cats and dogs and love getting to know all of their different personalities and little quirks. I’m also comfortable giving medication and regularly help care for my aunt’s dog, who requires medication on a strict time schedule. I know how important it is to follow instructions closely when it comes to medications, feeding schedules, walks, and your pet’s normal routine. For walks and drop in visits, I want your pet to get more than just the basics. I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, cuddles, and love while you’re away. I’m dependable, communicative, and will keep you updated so you know your furry family member is happy and taken care of. And honestly, I’m not picky. dog, cat, heck, if you need your hamster fed, let me know. 😂🐹 If it has paws (or even if it doesn’t), I’m probably going to love it! My schedule is very flexible, which gives me plenty of time for walks and drop-in visits! 🐾 I work Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4–11 AM and Thursdays from 4–8 PM, but outside of those hours, I’m pretty much an open book! Whether your pet needs a midday walk, an afternoon check-in, dinner, or some evening company, I have lots of flexibility to work around their normal routine. 😊 I know letting someone into your home AND trusting them with your pet is a big deal, so I take both seriously. I’ll always follow your instructions closely. From feeding and medications to leashes, crates, doors, and any house rules. I want you to feel completely comfortable while I’m there, so you can expect updates, pictures, and probably an unnecessary amount of commentary about how cute your pet is. 😂

About: I have not had any professional experience or job taking care of pets, but I’ve taken care of my 2 dogs for the last 5 years. I set my availability for specific dates due to either school and/or my job. Outside of these dates I’m free to take care of your adorable pets. I will care for them by making sure they have food and water, taking them on walks, playing with them, and I will make sure your house is safe and locked after.

About: I am an experienced pet sitter. I have a cat of my own, and grew up in a household with multiple dogs. I have been on Rover for the past 5 years and have gained experience with pets of all breeds and sizes. I take pride in the services I provide and will ensure your pet is well taken care of :) I have a flexible work schedule allowing me to give your pet my full attention. I work from home and am fully off on Sundays/Mondays. Your pet will absolutely have free roam of the house just like it is their own :) My cat can be separated from your pet if needed.

About: I have taken care of both cats and dogs since I was a kid. I started walking neighbors dogs and my own dog, and once I was old enough I got a job working at a doggy and cat daycare and boarding center. After working there for a few years, I went to school and began volunteering at the local humane society (HARP East Side). I primarily work with cat care at the shelter, though I have plenty of experience working with dogs in the past. I am able to create my own work schedule, so I am pretty flexible with what I am able to do throughout the week! I am typically available anytime of day. If at my home, I have a somewhat fenced yard area to allow the dog some space. It is small, but it is enough room to let them roam freely while I am outside with them. If not fenced in, the dog will be leashed at all times. With cats, I have had some escape artists of my own so I will always make sure to check doors and locks behind me when I am moving in and out of the home.
