About: Hi! I’m a huge dog lover currently experiencing a serious lack of daily dog time - so I am not kidding when I say caring for your pup would truly make my day. I fostered dogs for a year and grew up with my family’s golden retriever, Simba, who set the bar very high for all future dogs in my life. I am very very accustomed to medication schedules and differing social situations with dogs. I work full-time in procurement on a hybrid schedule, which gives me great flexibility. I’m available Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, plus after 4 pm Tuesday through Thursday. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, chill couch hangs, or just having a friendly human around, I’m happy to match their vibe. I take pet care seriously, but I also believe dogs should have fun (and maybe a few extra compliments throughout the day). I’ll treat your dog like one of my own — with lots of love, attention, and respect for their routine. If your pup is looking for (temporary) best friend, I’m your girl!
“This was our second time booking with Jess for drop it visits with our cat Alexis. Jess did such a great job as always! Her communication was outstanding and the pictures made us smile. She did everything we asked and then some - even cleaning and refilling the water dispenser. Jess really went the extra mile and it showed. I’ll always rebook with Jess when she’s available (and I hope she always is!)”

“Jennifer took good care of Jerry for two days dropping in to feed and play with him. It was a last minute work trip and her first time with us and she quickly arranged a meet and great then got the job done. She checked in online and shared photos. Thanks Jen!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Carly! She helped me out last minute with my three young dogs (which is no small task), and she was absolutely amazing. She’s calm, reliable, and clearly so comfortable and confident with dogs. From the moment I left, I felt completely at ease knowing they were in great hands. My dogs were happy, well cared for, and clearly loved — which says everything. I’m beyond grateful for her flexibility, kindness, and the care she showed my pups. I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation and will 100% be using her again!”

About: I am home-based which allows me to spend a lot of time and provide continuous care to your pup. I am happy to take your pup along with me on my multiple walks per day and play in the yard. We take a lot of joy out of hosting dogs and have so much fun with our Rover guests! Please note the dogs in our pictures do not reside with us and will not be present in our home when we have puppy guests. We only host one guest at a time (unless it’s a family pair). We would love to host your pup if it is house trained, friendly to all humans and other dogs, and does not have any history of aggression, separation anxiety or destructive / behavioral issues as we would not be equipped to handle. Meet and greet prior to boarding is our request to ensure a great experience for all. Thank you in advance for your transparency on these requirements! I am home based and am an avid walker, plenty of availability. Your dog would not be left alone for more than a few hours when I have to run out for errands or appointments. I’m a homebody! I live in a safe, quiet neighborhood in the north hills with flat, easy loops for walking. I also have a fenced in, flat backyard that dogs love to play in. I have a 12 year old son who loves dogs and will gladly play with your pup.
“Kat has been so friendly and kind to our dog Angus. Angus lost his two brother cocker spaniels in the past 1-1/2 years and is very nervous about being alone, and Kat helped him relax and enjoy his time with her during her visit.”

About: Hi! I offer safe, loving, in-home boarding for dogs in a calm, family-oriented environment. I was on rover 4 years ago but took a long break and would love to get back into dog boarding again! I’m home most of the day, so your pup will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and affection—never left alone for long periods. I do share my home with three friendly cats and a 10 month old baby, so your dog must be good with cats and children. My home is clean, cozy, and structured to keep everyone safe and comfortable. I treat every dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel relaxed, loved, and at home. I am currently working from home part time, I’m a stay at home mom pretty much always home so your pup will always have love, care, and attention. I have an unfenced big yard but I love going for walks and I am able to take your pup out every hour or two

“Jennifer is absolutely amazing and goes above and beyond what I asked for help. I was very nervous to leave my fur babies and especially with a stranger but she immediately put me at ease and made me feel so comfortable while away. She immediately made a bond with my cats, which as most know is hard. Would 100% have her again and would highly recommend.”

“Chang is extremely responsible and takes excellent care of pets. Very kind and goes the extra mile to make sure the pet is happy. She is very knowledgeable about animals and understands what they need.”

“While Taylor and Niko (my 9 month old kitten) seemed to have a good time together while I was away, I would’ve appreciated more detailed daily updates and that she followed my litter cleaning instructions more closely (e.g. the area surrounding his litter box was quite filthy and the litter box itself had way too much litter in it; I had to dump most of it).”

About: 🐶 Having been surrounded by dogs my entire life, I’ve developed a deep understanding and appreciation for their care. Growing up with dogs and raising my own, Harlow 🐾, from a puppy, has given me firsthand experience in fostering their well-being. My passion for animals extends beyond personal experience—participation in clubs at the Pittsburgh Zoo 🦁 provided me with valuable insights into animal behavior and care, further enhancing my knowledge. Being from Pittsburgh, I am fluent with many resources for me to enjoy with pets. 🐕🦺 My pet care journey started in 2014 with my first job at a dog care store on Butler Street, where I honed my skills in providing attentive and compassionate care. During my internship with the Water Authority in Bradford, PA, I dedicated my lunch breaks to volunteering at the local SPCA 🏠, offering love and attention to animals in need. These experiences have shaped me into a dedicated, knowledgeable, and empathetic sitter. 💛 As a remote, part-time engineering student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to caring for my pets. I can easily fit dog walks, feeding, and playtime into my routine, ensuring each pet gets the attention it deserves. My love for animals and adaptable schedule make it easy to prioritize their well-being. I currently care for two dogs, my mother's and her boyfriend's, and have hands-on experience managing their daily needs. At home, I ensure a safe environment with our fenced-in yard and always prioritize the pets' well-being. For my clients' pets, I’m adaptable to their specific routines, whether that involves feeding, walks, playtime, or creating a comfortable space. Every pet in my care receives love and attention tailored to their unique needs.
Glenshaw dog parents share their Rover experiences
Marissa was amazing with my Pup Splash. He can be a nervous boy and she was very patient with him and he warmed up to her in no time. He is also deaf and Marissa took the time to learn his signs so that she could communicate with him. I felt very confident with Marissa caring for Splash and will definitely be hiring her again!!

Heather is phenomenal. She is kind and caring and you and your pets will be in the best hands ever! She came through for me in a crisis - and she didn't have to - but did it out of the kindness of her heart. She'll be my first and only call when I need pet care going forward!

Emily is very kind, friendly, and easygoing. During our meet and greet she was extremely attentive and asked questions. Emily provided daily pictures and communicated frequently. We were very happy with the care our dog received. I would definitely book her again!
