About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from energetic puppies to calm senior pets who need a gentler pace. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and always prioritize safety, whether that’s sticking to your dog’s routine, handling leash walks confidently, or keeping a close eye on behavior. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, basic training reinforcement, crate routines, and giving lots of love and attention. What sets me apart is how seriously I take communication and trust: you’ll always get updates, photos, and full transparency so you feel completely at ease while you’re away. I’m currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh, which actually gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care. I have breaks throughout the day between classes, so I’m able to stop by for walks, drop-ins, or check-ins without rushing. Evenings are usually wide open for longer visits or house-sitting, and weekends are very flexible as well. My schedule is consistent week to week, so you can count on reliable care and clear communication about my availability. Since I provide care in my clients’ homes, my priority is always to maintain a safe, calm, and familiar environment for your pets. I follow your routines exactly; feeding schedules, walk routes, crate rules, playtime, and any house guidelines you prefer so your pet feels comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’m very mindful of doors, gates, and leashes to prevent escapes, and I make sure your home stays tidy and respected throughout my stay. I communicate frequently with updates and photos so you always know how things are going, and I’m attentive to any changes in behavior or appetite. My goal is to give your pet reliable, loving care while giving you total peace of mind.
About: I have cared for my own animals my whole life and have just recently said goodbye to my dog of 15 years. Though my family is not ready quite yet for another member, we miss having a dog in the house and would love to help care for yours! I love all animals, but have always had a special place in my heart for dogs. I work full time, but am fortunate enough to have the flexibility to work from home when needed so your furry pals will not go long stretches without love and attention! Our yard is partially fenced, however we have a lead for dogs outside, as well as the equipment and precautions to keep your pets safe if needed like crates, gates, etc. Our two cats are very friendly and good with dogs. They do spend most of their time on the second floor, so your pet would have free rein of our first floor!
“Richard did an incredible job. Showed up for daily visits with our pets and sent photos and report cards on every visit. Would definitely use again and recommend his services.”

“Yana was super responsible and communicative. She was very sweet with Josie and sent lots of wonderful pictures. I only asked for two visits this time, but I'd definitely ask her again if I need a sitter for more visits in the future!”

“Ashley was absolutely incredible! From the very beginning, she was responsive, easy to work with, and even offered a meet-and-greet, which made the entire process seamless. Our Lou is currently on medication, and Ashley had no problem administering it, she even covered it in peanut butter to make sure he took it! Our baby looked so happy in every photo she sent, and we loved the report card feature as well. Ashley truly went above and beyond by making an extra trip to check on Lou after he had gotten sick earlier that day, which gave us such peace of mind. We also have a cat, and Ashley was more than happy to help by leaving treats out for her too. We left a list of “to-dos,” and she completed everything exactly as requested. She was extremely respectful of both us and our home. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and will absolutely be using Ashley for all of our future trips. Highly recommend!”

About: I have lived with dogs for over 6 years and am very comfortable caring for them in a variety of situations. I currently have a 1-year old Bernedoodle who is very active, energetic, and has a huge personality. I understand the consistency, patience, play, and lots of love they require! I am currently working full time 8am-5pm, but I have consistent availability from 6pm-10pm on weekdays. I’m also available and flexible most weekends and can accommodate a wider range of times depending on your needs. I can also frequently accommodate same day/ last minute bookings! I take safety and responsibility seriously and always aim to provide a calm , consistent and reliable environment for your pets. I pay close attention to your pets needs and pay close attention to your pets needs.
“Lucas was very reliable and professional in caring for our cat. Lucas even did some useful things we did not ask him to do, such as take out and bring back our garbage can.”

About: When I am home from school, I live with 2 dogs and 4 cats. My mother frequently fosters dogs from all different walks of life, so I am used to adapting to many unique circumstances! Wether your dog is out going or never leaves their crate, I’m your girl for every kind of care! I am a home body, so with the exception of the classes I have (only Tuesday through Thursday) I am always around! Having animals gives me a sense of motivation, I love knowing I’m starting and ending my day by caring for a pet. I miss my puppies while I’m away at school and can’t wait to give yours all the love I have built up! I love having a buddy to hang out with while I am doing homework, making dinner, or relaxing watching TV. I love a good schedule and will make sure your dog feels as good as possible following the same routine with me!
About: Your doggo will be in good hands. I have been around dogs for several years. Hoping to enhance the lives of dogs by taking them for walks and letting them enjoy the fresh air. I am available for weekday walks and pet check-ins. Work day got your pup locked up all day? Let me help! Mon-Fri morning to afternoon availability. I will respect your home and space. My main focus is on your fur baby. Your pet will be in good hands and will be treated like the royalty they are.
About: For more than 10 years, I have volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I care for dogs by feeding, walking, and supporting their daily needs. I have been a lifelong dog owner and have developed a strong understanding of their care and behavior. I currently have two dogs: a dachshund and a medium-sized Labrador/Pit Bull mix. Spending time with dogs is something I enjoy, and caring for them is rewarding. Their companionship brings me a great deal of happiness. I currently work full-time and am available during the evenings. Beginning in the fall, I will also be attending school, so my availability will vary depending on the day. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, especially playing with their favorite toys. We often play fetch outside and enjoy relaxing together in the sunshine.
“Regan is a wonderful cat sitter! She looked after our 2 1 year old cats for the weekend and was communicative throughout it sending pictures and updates.”

About: We have taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds for as long as we can remember. We both have experience administering medications to cats and dogs alike and we both have a love for animals. We are both currently working as physical therapists with opposite schedules so one of us will be available for your pets at almost any time of day. We will also stay over any nights needed! We will both be very respectful of your home and your pets. We both just want them to be as happy as they can be while you are away. We will always be sure to clean up after being there (no one likes to come home to someone else’s mess)
“Hadley was timely, followed my instructions and was very nice to my dogs. She even put up with their shenanigans when they saw their doggy friends and went crazy! She will be my go to dog walker when needed.”

About: Although I do not currently have pets of my own, I have always loved animals and have been the go-to pet sitter for friends and colleagues since moving back to Pittsburgh in 2019. I have cared for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities, from quick check-ins to longer stays. Because I work remotely, my schedule is flexible and I can provide consistent care, attention, and updates while you are away. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet and your home, so I try to be dependable, communicative, and attentive to each pet’s routine. Since I do not have pets of my own, I genuinely enjoy getting to care for other people’s pets like they are part of my extended family. I work remotely, so my schedule is flexible and I can provide pet care during the day, in the evenings, and on weekends depending on the booking. Because I can work from different locations, I’m able to spend quality time with pets during house sitting stays and provide consistent check-ins, feeding, walks, playtime, and updates. I’m happy to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I care for pets in their own home, where they can stay comfortable with their usual routine, space, food, toys, and schedule. I always follow owner instructions closely, including feeding, medication, walks, litter care, crate routines, and any house rules. I’m respectful of both your pet and your home, and I prioritize communication, safety, and calm, attentive care. I’ll also send updates so you know your pet is doing well while you’re away.
“Mamie was attentive, professional, and made us feel comfortable knowing our dogs were in good hands. She sent updates and photos promptly and was detailed in her report cards. We also have two large breeds, and she handled them with ease. I can’t recommend her enough! Our dogs loved her😊”

“Myah did a wonderful job with our Stella! When I walked in, Stella was like "oh you're here," which is the perfect and desired response when any of us return. Stella should know she is safe at home and whoever walks through that door will take care of her. And Myah did very well, meeting our girl's needs in our neighborhood. Will definitely rebook!”

“We appreciate Kathleen being available on the holiday so we could spend time visiting family and not have to worry about Archie :-) she was on time and sent lots of pics and videos. Thanks Kathleen! Archie looks forward to seeing you on nye.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pittsburgh
Abriana took the best care of our Samson. He can be very shy especially when away from us and we could tell through all the pictures of videos we got throughout the stay that he was comfortable with her. Abriana took great care of Samson and kept us updated all weekend.

Ally was great with her drop in visits and gave my dogs time outside as well as to eat. My dogs can be very dramatic when it’s raining and Ally went above and beyond to try to get them to go in the yard. I appreciate her help inbetween my other sitter working long shifts!

Libby has watched my dog, Crosby numerous times and it has always been top notch service with excellent communication, pictures and schedules. I’m writing this review to back up Libby in regards to a review left by Denise. I was with Libby during one of her check ins with Denise’s dogs and can confirm the dogs were not left in a cage full of feces and urine. The dogs were well taken care of, were fed and let out and we spent time playing with them and enticing them to eat. That lady is clearly nuts and irrational. Do not let that review deter you from getting exceptional pet care from Libby. A+ service every time and I think her other reviews will confirm that.

Cam was wonderful with my household of elderly men. Very good with communication and reaching out with any questions especially because my babies have some silly personality and quirks. I really appreciate that they reached out to check in, and kept me up to date on how they were doing while we were away.

Heather is very patient and considered all the instructions we had for her thoughtfully. Our dog needs some time to warm up to strangers and Heather accommodated for that. We went for a couple of walks together and had her over as well before we booked our first check-in. Now our dog is starting to get happily excited when he sees her. She's easy to communicate with and we're very happy with how everything went. Looking forward to booking her services again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
