About: I’m from LA, where I worked for a dog hiking service where we started each morning with a group hike, came back home for daycare, and boarded dogs overnight. I love all dogs, big + small, and know how important it is for them not just to be well taken care of, but happy! Now it’s just me and my dog (Micho) in Pittsburgh exploring the trails around the city, and we would love to bring your pup along! As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule + take multiple walks a day, short hikes a couple times a week, and longer day trips on the weekends. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 9 years old. My family has had 3 dogs at a time since then and I have always been responsible for watching them, letting them out, and feeding them. I currently own a year old Jack Russel named sir loin and he is absolutely obsessed with making friends! I’m always available on during the week and weekend as I have a remote job. So this includes overnights, drop ins, babysitting, and walks throughout the day. My fiance and I rent in a great neighborhood full of dogs. We live right by a park and I have a little yard right outside of my house.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since childhood, whether my own, or for friends, family, and neighbors. I will treat your sweet dog or cat as my own. I can go on long or short walks, can administer medications, can play or provide sweet loving attention to your fur babies. I work part-time, so I’m happy to be at your home or taking care of your dog/cat before 9 and after 5 pm on Tuesdays-Thursdays. The other days of the week/weekend I can be there as often as you’d like, for as long as you’d like. I can walk dogs for as long as you need, we can work out a schedule that works best. My yard is partially fenced, so I fully intend to watch your dog during outdoor time if you are not one to use a lead. My house is 3-stories so perfect for any size animal. At the client’s home, I will follow your instructions as close as possible, and can provide a safe and loving presence. The only caveat is my house has 2 cats, so we must be sure the the visiting dog is safe with cats.

If you are looking for a top notch person to watch your dob, Barrett is the way to go. He was very communicative while I was away with updates on how my dog was ding as well as cute pictures of my dog doing various activities. He accepted my request with less than 2 weeks notice; he also agreed to accept Bragi at my 5am requested time plus gave me hours of wiggle room of when I could pick him up. Event though I forgot to let him know a few basic tendencies of Bragi, he messaged me and asked questions based off my Rover profile which indicates he truly thoroughly reads profiles. I look forward to using him again in my coming requests.
We are over the moon in love with Tia and her home as a home-away-from-home for our darling Rudy. We have never been so happy with the care he gets when we are away as we are now, having had him stay at Tia's home. We could see in every picture she sent that he was happy and thriving. He was always smiling, playing, cuddling or snoozing and he just looked so happy in every picture sent to us.. We feel that Rover was a fabulous find for us, but more than that, choosing Tia was the best decision we've made for dog care in years. Just knowing he was in such a supportive environment eliminated all our worries about leaving him while we traveled. This was the best experience ever! Tia cared for our dog just the way we wanted, and it was so nice to have him in her home, rather than a cement and chain link kennel.
Elizabeth has been watching our dog Lilah from when she was a small annoying puppy, to now as a grown up and less annoying dog. Elizabeth is very patient with her, and does a good job of positively redirecting Lilah's endless energy. We can tell that Lilah loves staying with Elizabeth and her dog, Sonder -she jumps out of the car with excitement every time she sees Elizabeth approaching.
Sam was the BEST sitter for our golden retriever. We laughed because when we dropped our dog off, she didn’t even look back to say bye- she was so excited and immediately felt safe and happy with Sam. Sam sent us pictures all weekend and kept us very informed on her care. We will definitely use Sam for pet sitting in the future and are so lucky to have found her.
