Check your dog into this historic 1857 Northside rowhouse DogBnB! Hi, I'm Damara! I have grown up with dogs my entire life. We recently said goodbye to our senior Boston Terrier in January of this year. We have owned multiple Boston Terriers for the past 20 years. I also recently fostered a Goberian (half Golden Retriever/half Husky) for 4 months so am comfortable with large dogs as well as small. I work a hybrid schedule that I manage myself so can be home most of the time with your pet. If I do need to be in the office I am only gone for 4-5 hours at a time. I have a fenced in, brick courtyard that's great for quick potty breaks and lounging in the sun. But I also really enjoy long walks so can accomodate whatever your pet prefers. Happy to discuss everything and will do whatever is best for your pet. We also own a Syrian Hamster named Cookie Dough that is completely secure in her enclosure. Your pet would have to be ok with children (extra play time for your pet) because I have a 9 year old daughter who is here most of the time. I will be the person providing care to your pet 100% of the time. At no time will my child be responsible for or left alone with your pet. Any additional questions, please ask. We are not yet ready for our own full time dog and we miss having one around so I figured we would give Rover a try. Look forward to meeting you and your pet. Damara was amazing, and I can’t recommend her enough! I am always anxious to leave my pup behind, but I didn’t worry about her at all while we were gone for 10 days. Damara set up a time for Lola to visit before the trip to make sure she was comfortable when we left. She also provided the perfect amount of updates and photos. I wouldn’t be surprised if Lola is annoyed she had to come back home after getting so many walks and playtime and love from Damara and her daughter. Lola has a human sister at home, so having a kid who loves and cares for dogs well was perfect for her! It was obvious that Lola was happy, comfortable, and well cared for by both of them. I can’t say enough about our experience with Damara, and I’m so glad to have found her! We will definitely use her again in the future!

This is our second time boarding with Damara. I trust her so much with my pup June. Even better is that June was so excited to see Damara when I dropped her off :)
Damara was a great communicator both during booking and while watching my pup, sending updates and photos so I knew he was doing well!
Damara was soo amazing with my puppy June. It was my first time leaving her so I was nervous. Damara sent a ton of updates and even taught June a new trick! I felt so at ease knowing June was in good hands. Damara really treated her like her own and I know June was comfortable and happy there. Highly recommend and will definitely be booking with her again!

Schedule
I currently work a hybrid schedule that I manage myself. I can mostly be home full time for your pet. If I have to go into the office it would only be for 4-5 hours.

I have a fenced in brick courtyard that is great for quick potty breaks or basking in the sun. Also comfortable walking your pet long distances if they need a lot of exercise. I have my own pet care insurance through PCI.
A typical day
I can do whatever your pet desires. I can take long walks in the local park or neighborhood. We can play fetch in the house or yard. Or just cuddle on the couch all day. Your pet will be the only pet here and will be looked after like our own.
