“Lisa was so fantastic!!! She took care of our little guy like he was one of her own pets. She kept me updated with how he was doing and sent several pictures during his stay. I could not have been happier with our experience! If we ever take a trip again, I would not hesitate to book with Lisa again!!”

“Karen watched my two big Berner boys for the first time for a week while we were on our family vacation. Communication was great, we got a some cute photos, and she took excellent care of them both. They are sweet, but they are ALOT of dog to handle!😂 She also has a large fenced in backyard, which my boys need for some daily outdoor playtime. We will definitely be using Karen again! Highly recommend!”

“Monica provided excellent hospitality to our pup and made him feel safe and loved. She was excellent with communication and daily pictures of our pup looking happy, calm, and relaxed during his stay. I highly recommend Monica.”

About: Hi, I'm Damara! I have grown up with dogs my entire life. We recently said goodbye to our senior Boston Terrier in January of this year. We have owned multiple Boston Terriers for the past 20 years. I also recently fostered a Goberian (half Golden Retriever/half Husky) for 4 months so am comfortable with large dogs as well as small. I work a hybrid schedule that I manage myself so can be home most of the time with your pet. If I do need to be in the office I am only gone for 4-5 hours at a time. I have a fenced in courtyard that's great for quick potty breaks and lounging in the sun. But I also really enjoy long walks so can accomodate whatever your pets prefer. Happy to discuss everything and will do whatever is best for your pet. We also own a Syrian Hamster named Cookie Dough that is completely secure in her enclosure. Your pet would have to be ok with children (extra play time for your pet) because I have a 9 year old daughter who is here most of the time. I will be the person providing care to your pet 100% of the time. At no time will my child be responsible for or left alone with your pet. Any additional questions, please ask. We are not yet ready for our own full time dog and we miss having one around so I figured we would give Rover a try. Look forward to meeting you and your pet. I currently work a hybrid schedule that I manage myself. I can mostly be home full time for your pet. If I have to go into the office it would only be for 4-5 hours. I have a fenced in brick courtyard that is great for quick potty breaks or basking in the sun. Also comfortable walking your pet long distances if they need a lot of exercise.

About: Hi, I'm Angela! I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by dogs, and I truly believe a home isn’t complete without the sound of four paws on the floor. I recently said goodbye to my beloved Pit Bull, Bia. She was my world, and I want to treat your pup with the same devotion, patience, and affection that I gave to her. My fiancée, Lauren, and I have her two dogs 2 weeks out of the month and they are great with other dogs and love to make friends! I work from home during the day and am a dance teacher in the evening. Between the two of us we have flexibility most of the day for house visits, walks, boarding, and daycare! I work from home during the day and my fiancée is home in the evening so we have a flexible schedule to give your furkid lots of love and attention! I have a large backyard on a quiet residential street and 2 sweet dogs part time who love to make friends! I have the ability to crate dogs of all size in my home and will not accept dogs from multiple families at one time so your baby will be spoiled!
“Denise is awesome! She is kind, communicative, and thoughtful, and provides a friendly and healthy environment for pups. Was great about sending updates and photos daily so I got to see how happy my dog was in her care. We’d love to book with Denise again.”

“Sebastian and his wife were wonderful to our small dog Daisy. I could tell she was well-loved during her six-night stay. Sebastian sent us a few pictures throughout her stay which showed she was having a good time. We were thankful that Sebastian is very courteous and quick to respond to any text messages. We would gladly book another stay with Sebastian. Thank you so much!”

“Jordyn was awesome with our dog! I would certainly recommend her to anyone, she was incredibly responsive and friendly, and our dog Addie loved her!”

“Jess is amazing! I got stuck in a winter storm traveling back and she was so great about it. During a stressful experience, I had peace of mind that Millie was being well taken care of.”

“A HUGE thank you to Dana and her very sweet family for taking such good care of Olive while we were out of town. She was so fortunate to get so much love!! We absolutely recommend Dana for a safe loving home away from home for your pet!”

“I can't say enough good things about Cindy when it comes to the care she gave our dogs. This is the first time we've left our dogs with anyone and we were a little nervous. She took them on multiple walks every day, played with them and also had chill time watching movies. I know they had a blast because they didn't want to leave. Cindy sent us several updates with pictures throughout the day, and we could see how comfortable they looked (which made us comfortable). Thank you Cindy for giving our boys such great care while we were away!”

“Theresa saved the day for us! Our sitter had to cancel the week before our trip and Theresa was a perfect fit for our 13 year old senior girls. She was so incredibly patient with them and all of their quirks. She took care of eye drops, eye ointment, special diets, poor vision and hearing, cleaning eyes and faces, making pony tails and letting someone hide under the covers when it stormed. Theresa just went above and beyond as far as we are concerned and will be delighted to have the girls stay with her anytime!”
“I was having surgery and we reached out to Maryann. She took our dog and took care of her for four days. She sent videos and texts so we didn't have to worry about care. I highly recommend Maryann and will use her again when needed.”

“E'Ronda took great care of our 5 month old puppy! He came back super happy and had a bath, trimmed nails and a lot of confidence. E'Ronda was very flexible with my incorrect/changed drop off and pick up times and was very nice and easy to communicate with. We were very happy with everything!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs all my life and have dog-sat for friends and family. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of different breeds and sizes, and I help with feeding, walks, playtime and give lots of love and attention. I truly love dogs and make sure both dogs and dog owners are happy. Pet care fits into my routine easily. I have classes from 7:45–10:30 AM and work only on Thursdays, so I’m available for walks, feeding, and playtime the rest of the day. I make sure pets feel safe and happy while they’re with me. I follow their routines, play with them, and give lots of attention. I keep things clean and calm so dogs feel comfortable and owners can relax knowing they’re in good hands.
“Lindsey and her family took excellent care of our dog, Willow for a 1 week stay. We received daily photos and comments of how her trip was going, which made us feel in the loop while we missed our girl. Would recommend to others who need a safe, loving home for their dog.”

“Christy was so so great with Ham! She sent so many pictures and he always looked like he was having a blast. He was returned very happy and exhausted from such a fun weekend playing. I will definitely be using Christy again!”

About: I’m back!! I pet sat when I lived in Orlando and then took a break. I am now in Pittsburgh and ready to welcome some new friends. I work from home full-time, in a single-family home with a fenced in yard. I have made a habit of rescuing animals (especially senior animals) and my pack would love some playmates.Whether it is joining in couch cuddles or afternoon zoomies, your little one will feel like part of the family. I have a lot of experience with a lot of different breeds. Including a few years of kennel experience as well as 30 years of personal experience. I have experience with senior animals as well as special needs animals, including blind, deaf, mobility issues, and incontinent. With those things comes a lot of experience in medication as well. Myself and my crew are excited to meet you and your fur babies. I work from home fulltime and a big home body. The most I leave is if I’m grocery shopping or grabbing dinner in the evening. I have a fully fenced in yard. Any boarding pups will sleep in my second bedroom in an appropriate sized crate/playpen. This is the area they would eat their meals as well.
Carnegie pet parents share their Rover experiences
Michael watched my 11mo old kitten for 3 days while I was out of state and I truly feel she was well taken care of. He's responsive, up front about what you should provide for your pet for drop-off and overall it was super simple and stress-free. I'd absolutely trust him again if I need a sitter for Raven in the future.

Samantha was absolutely fabulous! We had a family emergency and she was there for us! Our daisy had such a great time and the video updates put us at ease. We were hesitant to leave her with someone because we never had before and we 100% trust Samantha and will definitely be calling her in the future. Thank you so much!!

Frances is great with our pug Gigi! Gigi had a wonderful weekend, and was quite content when I picked her up on Monday morning. I would recommend and refer folks in the Rover community to Frances for their pet sitting needs. Will definitely contact Frances again for future pet sitting :)
