I’ve taken care of small animals since I was a kid. I was always the student who volunteered to take the class pet home for extended breaks from school. Some of the animals I cared for included leopard geckos, hamsters, and Guinea pigs! I have loved animals ever since 😊 Besides class pets, I grew up babysitting my Aunt’s dog, Oscar, whenever she went on vacation or needed some extra help. I got my first dog when I was 12 and he’s still living with us today. I am offering all services for small to medium sized dogs.

Gemma and her family are kind and gracious! Our Emmy love visiting and always comes home like she's been to a really nice retreat. We are so lucky to have found her.
Gemma did a great job dog sitting for us when we were out of town. Highly recommend! She’s the best and took great care of our pup. Lots of pics and updates and everything was in perfect order when we returned.
Bruce had a great time with Gemma and Gizmo! We received regular updates and adorable photos. He loved playing with all the toys and of course snuggling! We will definitely be back - thanks Gemma!
Gemma is so great with our older Chihuahua, Emmie. This was Emmie's first sleepover in a long time and over a weekend with crazy cold! She did so well and is very relaxed after pickup. Gizmo is a new friend!
Gemma is wonderful with our 11 y/o Chihuahua, Emmy. Emmy was so comfortable in Gemma's home and immediately took over a couch! Will absolutely book again. Thank you, Gemma!
Gemma did an amazing job watching Jacks and Mia. She checked in regularly and sent videos and pictures to keep me updated, which gave me great peace of mind. She took them on nice walks and made sure they were happy and well cared for. She truly went above and beyond .

Schedule
I am relatively free for dog care through Rover as I work a part time job in my spare time. I also used to have a job at a doggy daycare so I have plenty of experience with dog behavior :) I can assure you that daily walks and cuddles with your pup fit into my schedule <3

We have one small dog named Gizmo who is a 9 year old Shih-tzu mix. He is super friendly as he loves both people and dogs! We do not have a fenced yard but we regularly take trips to the local dog park. Additionally, we have a fenced deck where the dogs can get some fresh air. I know it can be intimidating to leave your pet with a stranger. As such, I try to make everyone feel welcome. I assure you that I am dedicated to your pet’s safety and well-being and promise to care for your pet as if they were my own. They will become a part of the furry family for the duration of their stay ♥️

A typical day
I will walk your dogs around the neighborhood and in the yard. I also have a variety of squeaky toys/bones in the house that my dog would love to share with his new friends! :)
