About: I grew up with dogs and have loved animals my entire life. I have been a pet sitter for many friends and neighbors over the years and had my own canine companion for 10 years. She passed away in November of 2023. Animals deserve to be loved and treated like family. I promise that your dogs will be treated very well and that they will truly enjoy their “vacation” at my home. It’s difficult to leave your “loved ones” in the care of others and I know that feeling. Rest assured that they will be cared for and spoiled to the best of my ability! I am a behavioral therapist who works with children and families. I have a hybrid job which means that I work from home doing Telehealth services and I also see clients in person at times. I am home for most of the day and this worked perfectly when I cared for my late dog, Arwen. I do not have any pets currently. I have an elevated deck that is only accessible from the house. It is surrounded and my dog loved to spend time out there basking in the sun. I have a yard but it is not fenced in. My neighborhood is quiet and very dog friendly.

About: I’ve taken care of small animals since I was a kid. I was always the student who volunteered to take the class pet home for extended breaks from school. Some of the animals I cared for included leopard geckos, hamsters, and Guinea pigs! About: Hello!! I've had my own cat since 2017 and am an avid stray feeder (and occasional trapper). I also volunteer at Kitty Queen Cat Rescue at least 2 days a week, usually doing morning cat care (but sometimes you can find me there during open hours). I feed all of the cats, replace water, scoop litter boxes, clean up whatever I might find, and give medication when needed. I encounter all different types of personalities and customize my approach to each one. I've been volunteering there since October 2025. I've also been pet sitting personally to friends since I was a teenager. I thoroughly enjoy taking care of animals and building trust with them, especially the shy ones. Truly nothing makes me happier than scooping 20 litter boxes with cats all around me. I also regularly take care of my friend's dog who is a spunky and reactive, but very sweet, terrier mix. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to my own cat, so I will understand if you need consistent pictures or a FaceTime call to calm your nerves! I once drove home in a blizzard because I couldn't see my cat on my cameras (she was completely fine). I'm also working on getting my Fear Free Pet Sitter Certification as I believe in preventing as much fear, anxiety, and stress as possible in all pets. Furthermore, I don't believe in assigning spite or malice to any animals. In my home I have a crate available or they have free roam of the house, whichever is preferred.

About: Hi, I am Mamie (I have gone by Mamie since birth but am technically named Mary) and I am a lifelong pet person, and professional sitter! I am fully privately insured for pet sitting and dog walking and carry broadened property damage coverage, animal bailee coverage and veterinary reimbursement coverage. I do two check ins a day with LOTS of pictures, and am a quick responder to messages (my average response time is 6 min). My most consistent feedback is that i am very communicative and professional, and that owners feel secure and never worry about their pets well-being when they are with me! My mother was a vet tech and I grew up rescuing and helping with medical care, years of volunteer work with multiple animal shelters, 20+ years of pet ownership myself and a few years of professional sitting experience both here in Pittsburgh and in Seattle. I have ample experience in a multitude of pet types and situations. I work as a housekeeper around the Pittsburgh area along with Pet Sitting and drop-ins during the day. Most jobs take me away from the home 4-6 hours at a time, the absolute longest I will/ever have left pets during the day is 8 hours, but that is rare and discussed/agreed upon with pet parents before booking. Constant care (any let that cannot be left alone 2-4 hours at a time) is available at an increased rate of 2.5x my normal daily rate. I am experienced and comfortable with oral medications and subcutaneous injections and administer meds with care, compassion and confidence. Injections do incur a small extra cost to service ($5/injection) for increased risk and expertise. I am clean, responsible, professional and trustworthy. I will only take jobs with a meet and greet beforehand, for the safety, individualized care and comfort of all of us (me, you and your pet babies.) As a housekeeper I am used to going into strangers homes and having a high level of integrity and care for their space and belongings and am very clean and fastidious. I keep things looking like I wasn't there as much as possible. I will clean litter boxes daily, change water bowls daily and do deep cleans of water fountains 1x a week. I do house-sitting and drop-ins throughout the Pittsburgh area, as well as a few short housekeeping jobs throughout the week. For house-sitting I make your home my "base" and am in and out throughout the day if I have other jobs scheduled, normally gone about 4-6 hours at a time. I am very open and communicative about my schedule with pet parents and spend the majority of my days with your pet and always stay overnight. If I don't have other jobs scheduled during the day than I am spending my day with your babies, same as you would! I do offer constant care with enough notice to block out my schedule, at an increased rate of 2.5x my daily price to cover lost wages from my daytime bookings. In clients homes I am respectful, clean, tidy, responsible and trustworthy. I mind my business and am not judgemental. I ask lots of questions at the meet and greet and keep extensive notes on each pet that I keep on file and can be updated regularly/are available for all current and future bookings.

“For years I’ve struggled with not having a support system in place to feel at ease when going on vacation with my dog. I may not have a close family to do so but I do have Kasey and Alyssa. These two watched my bulldog Frank and did an amazing job. Cared about all my concerns and over protective dog dad issues. I went to pick Frank up after almost a week away and he loved it so much it was like they were his new family. I have some work to do now to win my dog back over lolol. We met with her a couple of weeks before Max’s stay and she quickly put our minds at ease with how kind she is and you can tell how much she truly cares about the dogs she brings into her home. She explained how she would slowly introduce Max to the house and the other dogs which was nice to hear. During his stay we received daily updates and photos showing how our dog was fitting in. We could see he was having a great time! These updates were greatly appreciated. We wouldn’t hesitate to have Max stay with Amy again and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a place to board their dog.”
