Your dogs next best friend!
Hi there! I work from home my two available days a week, which means your dog gets 24/7 companionship, frequent backyard potty breaks, and mid-day snuggles on the couch. I grew up with dogs, and I have experience with everything from puppies to seniors. I am experienced with medication administration, limited mobility, and managing separation anxiety. I also have experience with reactive and dog-selective dogs and keeping them safe and happy. I live right by Bird Park and in a very walkable neighborhood, and can accommodate 2-3 walks a day - but if your dog is happier cuddling/sleeping inside, that’s okay too! I’d like to match your dogs normal routine as much as possible and make sure they get as much play and rest time as they need. Your dog will be safe and happy with me!

Julia provided frequent updates and gave cannoli alot of attention. I don't think he wanted to leave when we picked him up haha. He was very well taken care of.
Julia did a wonderful job with Bagel. She took her on many walks, played with her and gave her plenty of attention. Bagel is not good with other dogs and other animals so we were grateful to find someone who does not have any pets. Definitely will book with her again!
Julia went above and beyond for Kobe. We were coming from out of state and she was able to accommodate Kobe. She was very organized and paid attention to all of Kobe’s needs. Kobe enjoyed staying with her, when we were pulling away he got up to take one last look for Julia, which he never does. She sent pictures and updates, which really helped us enjoy our trip. I would definitely recommended Julia and will definitely book her whenever we are in Pittsburgh again. Thank you Julia for loving and taking care of Kobe as if he were your own.
Julia was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Poppy, over the holiday weekend. Poppy has a special diet and can’t have any human food, and Julia was very careful to follow all of her instructions. Poppy also gets a little anxious when left alone, especially during fireworks, and Julia was incredibly patient and comforting with her throughout the weekend. Julia kept us updated with regular messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that she genuinely cared about Poppy and knew exactly how to make her feel safe and comfortable. From the moment they met, Julia put Poppy at ease. it was obvious she’s a true dog person. Julia is mature, responsible, and an excellent communicator. We felt completely comfortable leaving Poppy in her care and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. We highly recommend Julia to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter!
Julia was excellent! My dog loved her right away. He gets a bit of separation anxiety and can be reactive toward other dogs, but after meeting Julia I felt very good about leaving my dog with her. She gave great updates along the way and was accommodating with our schedule. I would definitely book with her again!
Julia was great with Duncan! He’s a lap dog, wants to cuddle all day, and she was the perfect fit for him. Drop-off and pick-up were super easy, and I really appreciated her help. Highly recommend!

Programa
I currently work from home two days a week (Monday and Friday) so I will be available 24/7 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. I request that you give me your dogs normal schedule, and I will follow it exactly to make sure that they are comfortable and happy. I am available after 3pm Tuesdays through Thursdays.

Your dog will be the only pet in my home, and my top priority! I require a meet and greet before boarding to ensure we are the right fit. I will keep you updated with daily pics of your pup. I have a large crate in case your dog is crate-trained, but as I work from home they will just be hanging with me on the couch or dog bed - wherever they are more comfortable. My home is clean and free from any hazards to your pup, and I will follow your exact household rules regarding feeding and anything else. My previous dog who has now crossed the rainbow bridge was reactive and dog-selective, so I am very experienced on keeping your dog safe while on walks and reading their body language. They will never be off-leash in an un-fenced area, and I will happily avoid any triggers that you make me aware of - just let me know!
