About: Since I was born, I have had dogs and cats around me. I have delivered cats and dogs when living on a farm, and taken care of them my whole life. I have experience working with dogs and cats of all ages, as well as reactive and rescue animals. Although I do not currently have any pets of my own, I often am the friend who pet sits because of my love for animals. I would love to eventually get my own animal, but I am not currently in the financial situation to provide the life for an animal that it deserves, so this is a fun way for me to be around animals! I work remote, so I have very open flexibility. I am the go-to friend when going out of town and needing someone to care for your baby. I am easily able to work on the go, and can even work from your own home if needed. As well, I am a graduate student, but I only have classes in the evening. Because of my flexible schedule, I am able to visit your pet in their own home, and take them out regularly for walks and bathroom breaks. In my own home, I do not currently have any pets, but I have a pet friendly home and a large fenced in back yard. I am comfortable being in a client's home and taking their dogs around their neighborhoods. Because of my housing situation, I offer boarding services. I have lots of space for big dogs, and my backyard creates a safe space for reactive dogs to get some energy out without other people or dogs around.
“Christine is a great sitter. My Winnie is happy at her place and has great interactions w other pets while she's there. I love the communication and photos she sends.”

“Raeann was amazing with my dog. She is a true animal lover, who made my dog feel very loved. She was super accommodating with dates and with pick up and drop off arrangements. She ensured that my dog was comfortable. She asked me many questions just to make my doggo feel at ease and happy at her place, which I appreciated. She sent me picture updates and communicated with me throughout my dog's stay. I could not have asked for a better person.”

“We couldn’t be happier with Breanna doggie sitting our senior girl over the weekend. Breanna’s communication throughout the process was amazing proving updates and photos. Her experience with dogs truly showed. We had no worries! Highly recommend Breanna. Our girl misses her already.”

“Wonderful experience with Jeremy and his wife! We were so grateful to find them on short notice, and they took wonderful care of our pup. I think she was almost sad to leave she had so much fun! We will be calling them again 💗”

“Our schedule was erratic and included my mistake in scheduling. Sima and her family were gracious hosts and worked with our schedule. I received updates on how our doggo was doing everyday. It has been a pleasure working with them, I would definitely consider them next time we are in town.”

“Tucker had a nice first stay at Valerie’s. He’s high energy and gets a bit anxious in new spaces out of our routines but she was very patient and attentive with him, keeping him busy with playtime, backyard fun and walks. She sent frequent photo and video updates that kept me at ease throughout the stay.”

“I can’t express how grateful I am that Adam took care of our dog Daisy. He made sure she was comfortable, took amazing care of her and most importantly loved her with kisses and pets. Adam sent me daily updates throughout the day and pictures of their adventures. I will definitely use Adam again. I trust him complicity with my baby girl 🌼💗”

“My two cavapoos had the best time and Samantha was very responsive with updates to ease my anxiety about leaving them for so long! I would highly recommended trusting her with your fur babies!”

“Sara was perfect. I booked her last minute for the first time and she did an amazing job caring for my dogs, one of which is a senior dog that needs special care. I was very anxious to leave her but Sara was very reassuring and communicated very well. She didn’t miss a beat giving my dog her medications and sent plenty of updates. When I picked my dogs up, I could just tell they were comfortable and had a great stay. Absolutely plan to use Sara again.”

“Our Border Collie is a bit challenging to find a good fit in a pet sitter. She is very high energy and needs lots of play time, she's not great with unknown dogs, and though she's we'll behaved, she will not bond with every person she meets. During our meet and greet with Jordyn,I saw allot of positive signs in my pups behavior. Jordyn indeed turned out to be an excellent choice for us. We left our pup with Jordyn for 4 full days and came home to a happy and stress free dog. We've had a couple of pet sitter experiences where that wasn't the case so it was easy to recognize the difference. Jordyn was extremely flexible with scheduling and created a fantastic experience for all of us. She'll definitely be our first choice in the future”

About: Hi!! My name is Taylor, and I am a very passionate animal lover:) I have two Frenchies and am an experienced foster Mom through East Coast Bulldog Rescue. I own a local cleaning company, and the best part of my job is all the pets I get to see! I grew up with cats and absolutely adore them. I am experienced with animals with medical needs, senior pets, I can administer any and all medication, and am not scared of a lengthy specific routine:) I am a brachycephalic dog specialist, so any dog or cat is in good hands with me. I treat every animal like they are my own, so cuddles and attention are to be expected when your pet is in my care. I own a local business, but due to my amazing employees I work 5 hours a week or less. Animals are my life, so a typical day for me revolves around hanging out with my pups and relaxing on our balcony/playing with their toys/going for walks! If I am staying in your home, I will adhere to any and all restrictions or safety practices you have in place for your pets. I am very observant and cautious in any environment, especially with beloved pets
“Monica provided excellent hospitality to our pup and made him feel safe and loved. She was excellent with communication and daily pictures of our pup looking happy, calm, and relaxed during his stay. I highly recommend Monica.”

“Christy watched my dog Kinsley for two weeks while I was out of the country and I’m so grateful for her. I’d never had anyone other than family watch her for that long, but we did a trial run before and so I felt comfortable knowing she was in good hands. She sent me pictures and messages everyday which made me feel even more at ease. Definitely recommend!”

“Amanda and Jack were absolutely amazing! My girl, Onyx, had an issue with her elbow, and they handled the situation with incredible care, compassion, and professionalism. They kept me updated with photos throughout her stay, which gave me tremendous peace of mind, and they even took her on a nature hike so she could enjoy some time outdoors. It's clear they genuinely care about the animals they look after. I highly recommend Amanda's services and wouldn't hesitate to trust them with Onyx again!”

“Adisyn took amazing care of our Clyde when we were out of town for the weekend. He had Teddy as an amazing playmate. Adisyn periodically would give updates with photos on how he was doing and activities they were up to. She was also a life saver as our plane ride home ended up cancelled, leaving Clyde there an extra night. She was very understanding and flexible. We will 100% think of Adisyn & Teddy for future stays. Clyde enjoyed his time there:)”

“Justin was just fabulous with my corgi terrier mix Monty! He is communicative and conscientious and just a super nice person. He sent wonderful pics and informative and helpful updates. I felt completely comfortable leaving Monty with Justin and cannot recommend him highly enough. Five stars!”

Kathleen is awesome! She sends lots of pictures and videos to keep you up to date with what your dog is up to! She took our dog on multiple walks a day and spends lots of time outside with him which he loves. It was great socialization for our dog as well with lots of new friends to plays with over the course of the week!

This was the first time leaving our dog with a sitter so we were a little nervous about whether he’d be ok, if he’d miss us & be anxious, etc. I told Amy our concerns & she assured us all would be good & it so was! Our baby had the best time! She does doggy day care as well so Augs had so many friends to play with. She was very communicative- not only answered my messages in a timely manner but sent me her own as well with lots of pics. We would definitely use her services again if needed. Thank you Amy!

Tri thankfully accepted my last-minute request to watch my dog for the weekend. I have a very anxious dog, but Tri was able to keep her calm and give her all of the affection she desired. Tri sent many pictures and updates so I was able to enjoy my weekend away knowing that my dog was in great hands!

Dezerae was very good with our nervous senior dog. She was very responsive to messages, sent tons of pictures, and was ready on time for drop off and pick up. From top to bottom she took good care of our dog and communicated well with us and we would definitely have her watch our dog again in the future!
Alexa did an amazing job taking care of my dog. She was kind, reliable, and very attentive, and I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands. Communication was smooth, and it was clear she genuinely cares about animals. I really appreciated her help and would absolutely trust her again. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
