Pet care experience
Home all day- lots of play!
Please read... There are always dogs here whether for daycare or overnight or my own dog so they MUST GET ALONG WITH OTHER DOGS. Please provide vaccine records including bordetella. Not taking vocal dogs at this time, I have a newborn so excessive barking is not ideal. If you are requesting care for a new dog I do encourage a meet and greet. I will not take a 1st time dog on the same day. I do not allow aggressive, scared or dogs with separation anxiety for the safety of ALL dogs. I love caring for my own dog as well as friends and family's pups. My husband, son and I have a black lab/ blue heeler mix that follows my every move. He is good around dogs and willing to share his toys and space with friends. My son calls him his dog brother because he's a family member. I have a very large yard so there is plenty of room to run and play! Lots of open space to play inside as well. I am home during the day so I can play more and keep you informed. I will be sure to provide lots of exercise so they will be wore out! Our home is close to 279 & 65 and minutes from downtown. I am home full time to look after pups whether it's daycare or overnight stays. I am available for daycare Mon- Fri until 5/6pm. Overnight stays I'm typically available 7 days a week. I let all dogs sniff around first to get acclimated as well as sniff any other Dog 1 at a time to introduce. All dogs are fed separately. Everyone has their own hang out space if needed. I have gates and crates with doors open and blankets and beds for relaxing. The dogs are able to roam, relax and/or play all day. They are only separated for feeding time or if I have to leave and they are not already friends ( many of the dogs here are well acquainted and I leave them together). We go outside pretty often to walk around and use the potty especially depending on water consumption. If I leave for any reason and am unsure how the dogs here will be together then they will be in separate areas. Male dogs who mark their territory will have to wear a belly band inside.

Amy recently watched my dog Nero for several days, in that time he was fed on his schedule and let out for plenty of bathroom breaks or just to lounge outside, as he prefers to. He was able to meet and make many dog friends throughout the week as they came to her place for doggie day care or boarding. Amy provided updates and pictures throughout this time and Nero seemed to have enjoyed his stay with her.

Amy was awesome. Super friendly and sent updates and pictures regularly. My dogs loved staying there.

My go-to sitter for several years now. Coda always looks like he’s having a great dog vacation.

Amy was excellent. She gave frequent updates and sent lots of pictures. Would definitely recommend!

Highly recommend Amy for your dog boarding needs. She took care of our 6 year old beagle over an extended weekend and the experience was great. Meet-up, Drop-off and Pick-up was easy and communication was great. She sent us regular updates as well that’s always a comfort when staying away from our dog.

Amy was very flexible when our travel plans had to change at the last minute and kept our Lucy an extra night. She sent daily updates and I could tell that they had lots of fun playtime!

Schedule
Typical day is potty/breakfast, play with friends which then likely turns into a nap or relax time. Then potty breaks and more play until daycare is over. Then dinner time and either relaxing or playing until our last potty break and bed time.

Safety, trust & environment
I always take dogs out on leashes as there are usually animals in the yard. I have gates before any outside doors to prevent quick escapes.

A typical day
I have a half an acre yard where we will have plenty of room to roam. It's not fenced but I do have a tie out on a 70 foot run. Our finished basement is their play house. There's space to run, wrestle or relax. They can run around all day with plenty of toys.
