Pet care experience

🐈 Experienced cat caregiver!

Hello! My name is Nicole and I run an insured cat services business in Pittsburgh, PA. I am located in the Lawrenceville area. The services I offer are cat boarding (in my home) and cat drop-ins (in your home). 😺 Cat Experience 😺 • I grew up with 4 cats and now have 4 cats of my own, one of whom is a senior who requires special care for chronic kidney disease and diabetes, and one of whom has asthma and requires an inhaler. • I also volunteer at a cat sanctuary (Ricki’s Rescue🐈‍⬛), where all cats are welcome, including disabled, feral, and semi-feral cats. • I’m well-versed in cleaning related tasks, food and water needs, and fun ways to play. All around, I am a life-long friend to many cats and a true animal lover.

Nicole is the sweetest human, genuinely loves our baby Neil and is so good with reassurance and pictures during our trips giving us the ability to relax knowing he is in a good home being loved. She is the only person o trust to leave our kitty with when we go away for long periods of time .

Very kind and loving to our cats. She is a conscientious, communicative, and collaborative sitter. I felt very comfortable leaving my cats in Nicole's care over the Labor Day weekend AND she made sure I was informed and updated on their care as well. Will book again if the opportunity arises!

Nicole took excellent care of my cat and sent detailed notes and photos every day. You can tell she really cares about the well-being of your pet, and I felt very safe leaving him under her care. I highly recommend Nicole, especially if you have an older kitty like mine.

Schedule

😺 Cat Boarding Schedule 😺 _______________ • ⚠️ Note that I am only able to board cats, not dogs. Additionally, I only board up to two cats at a time under one client at a time. • I am available to board cats any day of the week. I work from home so I am able to give your cat plenty of attention throughout the day. • I am not able to do pick-up/drop-offs on Saturdays from 10AM-4PM. Otherwise, I am available anytime for pick-up/drop-off anytime. _______________ 😺 Cat Drop-In Schedule 😺 _______________ • ⚠️ Note that I am only able to drop-in on cats, not dogs. Safety, trust & environment

Note: For your peace of mind, I am insured with Pet Sitters Associates on top of the Rover Guarantee. _______________ 🏠 Cat Boarding Environment/Safety Info 🏠 _______________ • I have a room separated from my other 4 cats that can be used as your cat’s personal getaway experience, complete with a food and water area, a great windowsill to sit on and watch birds, a litter box, a cat tree, a scratching board, and catnip wall lickers. • ⚠️ Note that your cat will be in one medium sized room that I do not sleep in, although I spend the day in. If you know your cat responds poorly to being in one room, especially when alone, (extreme anxiety, excessive meowing, destruction of furniture, increased aggression upon return), the environment I can provide is not suitable for your feline. • This room doubles as my home office that I work from daily, so I would be in the same room as your cat all day for most days, allowing for plenty of time for attention and cuddles. • I also have a camera in the room so I can check on your cat if I am out of the house or even from another room. _______________ 🏠 Cat Drop-In/Safety Info 🏠 _______________ • I will be in your home for a full dedicated 30 minutes. Your cat will receive active attention (playing/cuddling/petting) as well as basic task completion (food, water, litter box, optional vacuuming). • I am familiar with "flight risk" kitties and am always on high alert when entering and exiting homes. • I will leave your home exactly as I found it, ensuring to not leave any messes. • I am comfortable with home security systems and/or security cameras being on during my drop-in visits.

Pets

A typical day

🐈 A Typical Day In My Home (Boarding) 🐈 • I have a wide range of stimulating activities such as scratching boards, catnip, treats, stuffed toys, worms on a string, and a window that can be cracked to look out and listen to the outside. • Additionally, your cat will be staying in my office where I am most of the day on M-F, so I will be available to cuddle and pet your cat the entire work day for hours on end. Your cat will have access to a soft chair, a desk, and a mini cat tree to rest on in my office. • I have 2 types of treats and Churus on deck as well! ____________________________________ 🐈 A Typical Day In Your Home (Drop-Ins) 🐈 • I will follow exact feeding, grooming, and litter box instructions. If treats are permitted, I will always be happy to offer one to your furry friend. • Playful cats are in luck as I love to interact and have fun! Leaving toys out is greatly appreciated. If your cat is more relaxed, cuddles and pets will be the main focus after care activities have been completed. • Even if your cat is hiding or skittish, I am more than happy to hang out with them from a distance for the full duration of the visit to give them some calm company.

❗️Other Important Info ❗️ • Please let me know if your cat has any special needs/medications/supplements, if your cat is known to attempt to escape (run outside), if your cat uses a closed or open litter box (boarding only), and if your cat is known to have any frequent litter box accidents (no worries if yes!). • I am not able to board or drop-in on cats suffering from an acute injury or illness, such as an active infection or a sprained paw. I am able to board or drop-in on cats with long-term, chronic conditions that are being managed. • I can administer liquid, pill, cream, inhaled, or injectable medication to cats. I have experience administering inhalers for asthma, injecting subcutaneous fluids for chronic kidney disease, injecting insulin for feline diabetes, administering ear cream for thyroid conditions and appetite stimulation, administering liquid medication, administering pills. • Please let me know your cat’s typical feeding schedule. • I have no preference on cat temperament.
