About: I have taken care of animals my whole life, always having a cat, dog, and some sort of exotic animal in my house! I am currently a cat and rabbit mom and I have dog walked since I was 16 years old. I have done overnight care for pets staying in other people’s homes, and I would be happy to help board if I can! I work full time as a SPED teacher so the evenings & weekends are ideal for. I get off work at 4pm so I can do 4:30 later as a reasonable time M-F. I also work at a bar on the weekends but I can take off from there as long as I have 2 weeks notice. I live in an apartment building so I do not let any animals out of my apartment unless they are crated or leashed so they do not get lost in the building.
About: I have a deep love for animals especially since I have a 10 year old schnauzer back home in Florida who I miss every day. Being around pets again brings me joy and comfort, and I always strive to give that same feeling back to the animals I care for. I treat every dog like my own; with love, patience, and attention to their unique needs. I also genuinely enjoy walking outdoors, so your pup will always get the exercise and fresh air they deserve. Whether it’s energetic playtime or gentle care for seniors, I’m here to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I love going on walks every day, especially in the spring/ summertime. So taking dogs along just makes those moments even better. Since I work as a competitive gymnastics coach in the evenings, my mornings and afternoons are wide open for drop-ins, walks, and quality time with pets. It’s the perfect balance of movement, fresh air, and furry companionship! Whether I’m caring for pets in my client’s home or dropping in for a visit, I focus on making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I take time to bond with each pet through play, cuddles, or just calm companionship. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family, always making sure they’re happy, exercised, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Lauren was open to a thorough meet and greet prior to watching our two kitties, and she took the biggest weight off our shoulders while we were away. She sent plenty of updates, gave them their favorite treats, and lots of loving and play time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for loving them like your own! They’ll be excited to see you next time!”

About: "Dog Whisperer" - I'm very lucky to have been called that by more than a few.. I've been a dog lover my entire life! I love them all and they seem to like - and more importantly, trust - me a lot, too! I grew up with Old English Sheep Dogs, Poodles, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Dalmatians, PIt-Bul/ Lab mixes (or as I called them, "PLABS") and of course good old fashion, run of the mill Heinz-57s! As I kid, on the way home from school, I would purposely walk out of the way, just to say hello to several of the pet dogs along the way. As an adult, I spent several years volunteering for a well known local no-kill shelter back when they were actually located in the Strip District.......until my career and "Corporate America" began to take a greater priority. Now, I am newly retired with lots of free time on my hands - and I can't wait for my calendar to be filled with dog walks and play time versus conference calls and business meetings. Can I pencil your pooch in for my next open slot? As a recent retiree, I have a lot of newly found free time on my hands. I am generally available to provide your special pal dog walks, feeding and/or play time most days with the exception of Thursday. While I am sure our lovely Staffie, Waffles, would love the company, at this time we are not able to host another dog in our home.
“Mary watched my cat Binx for five days and was incredibly attentive and detailed in her check-ins which is always so appreciated. My boy can be picky about who he likes and he seemed to warm up to her quickly. Great communication and she definitely helped my peace of mind while I was away!”

“Theresa was wonderful and attentive and communicative. It made me feel at ease to know that my cats were in good hands. She clearly loves animals and is knowledgeable about pet care. Highly recommend!”

“Penny looks forward to Marias visits, it would be an impossible travel without Marias support. Maria is kind, patient, flexible and super communicative. It was a relief to have Maria watch Penny during our long trip.”

About: As a Star Sitter, I have a proven track record of providing a calm, safe, and fun home environment with a high level of attention and care. Because I work from home, your dog receives consistent supervision, multiple daily walks, and plenty of engagement throughout the day. We love hosting dogs - your pup will be treated like part of the family 💕 I intentionally host one dog at a time (or dogs from the same household) to maintain a safe, low-stress environment and provide individualized care. The dogs in my photos are past guests and are not present during your dog’s stay. Before You Book: Important Requirements To ensure a great experience for everyone, I only accept dogs who are: • Fully house trained • Friendly with humans (no history of aggression) • Able to safely pass other dogs on walks • Comfortable in a new environment (no destructive behavior or significant anxiety) • Able to sleep through the night If your dog has anxiety, reactivity, or behavioral challenges, please be transparent so I can determine if this is the right fit. New Clients • Meet & greet required • First-time bookings: a one night trial stay is strongly recommended before longer stays I am home based and am an avid walker, plenty of availability. Your dog would not be left alone for more than a few hours when I have to run out for errands or appointments. I’m a homebody! I live in a safe, quiet neighborhood in the north hills with flat, easy loops for walking. I also have a fenced in, flat backyard that dogs love to play in. I have a 12 year old son who loves dogs and will gladly play with your pup.
About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with animals—I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 13, so I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and energy levels. I’m very active, so I can give high-energy dogs plenty of exercise, and I’m experienced with both young pets and senior animals, making sure they get the care, attention, and routines they need. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I already walk/exercise every day and love being outside, so dog walks feel natural. I’ve grown up with dogs and have pet sat independently for over a month, so I’m very comfortable with daily care. My work schedule also leaves me plenty of time before and after work. I am home for the summer, so I can consistently feed, walk, and spend time with a pet. I care for pets by sticking closely to their normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure they have fresh water and attention throughout the day. I’m very active, so I enjoy giving dogs plenty of exercise and outdoor time. In a client’s home, I make sure the pet feels comfortable and safe, follow any specific instructions, and keep the home clean and organized while I’m there.
About: I grew up with pets (both cats and dogs) and have always loved being around and caring for animals. I worked as an animal care associate at the Humane Society of Chittenden County in Burlington, VT, where I learned safe handling techniques, gained medical knowledge, and cared for a wide variety of breeds and behavioral cases. I have extensive experience with cats, dogs, and smallies of all shapes and sizes and would love to help care for yours. I have a flexible schedule which leaves me plenty of time to walk and play with fur babies. I do have a part time job so I will need to leave occasionally when I am housesitting. I also don't mind commuting to care for an animal. I live in a lovely neighborhood for walking and am also able to drive dogs to nearby parks and hiking trails to play and exercise. I have a cat at home who dislikes other animals so I would only be able to provide care at a client's home.
“Dezerae is amazing!!! Last minute situation she comes through Frank loves her. Excellent communication I would not hesitate to have her care for Frank and Kirby anytime we need help.”

“Carlie couldn't be easier to work with and did a great job making sure the cats were well taken care of. Updates were very detailed and pictures super cute. Will absolutely rebook the next time we're away!”

“I am glad my cat Dorita is also making friends with Richard and coming around more when he goes check on her! Richard takes care of my dog and cat both and he has been great so helpful to us!”

“Lauren is absolutely awesome. She is great with the dogs, follows instructions, and has great communication. She is also flexible which was a huge bonus. She sends pictures after every visit and lets you know how everything went. I have full trust in her and would definitely recommend her.”

“Maddi was a responsive, flexible and attentive caretaker for my two young house cats. I really appreciated her prompt communications and the photos she sent gave me peace of mind while I was gone on my week-long trip. Would use again, thanks Maddi!”

About: I am currently studying to become a Veterinary Assistant at Parkway West Career and Technology Center, and the more time I can spend with animals, the better! I also have volunteer experience at Bailey's Cat Haven, which has provided me with the cat cuddling time that I've been missing since my apartment doesn't allow pets (Booo!). My availability is very open outside of school hours. I currently attend Montour High School from 7 am -3 pm weekdays. I am available weekday evenings and on weekends for whatever your pet needs! I have most holidays off, so book me for your next vacation! Being able to care for your pet in their own home environment minimizes their stress level. No car rides, smelly kennels, or unfamiliar places necessary!

Katelyn helped me tremendously when my initial sitter plans feel through. Despite the short turn around, she took the time for a meet & greet, and my dogs really took a liking to her! She sent updates for each visit, letting me know how they were doing. Would absolutely recommend!

This was me and my partner’s first time using Rover, so naturally we were a little nervous going into it. But from the very first moment our babies met Alyssa, everything changed they instantly fell in love with her, and honestly, that told me everything I needed to know. Alyssa took such great care of them, and you can tell she genuinely loves what she does. She made us feel comfortable, kept us at ease, and treated our babies like her own. We couldn’t have asked for a better first experience, and we will definitely be using her again in the future. Highly recommend!
