About: I’m an animal lover! I not only grew up with several pets including cats, dogs, fish, parakeets, & hermit crabs - but I now have two cats and two dogs of my own. I know how difficult it can be to find someone to check on your pets when you’re in a bind. That’s why I decided to reactivate this account, to help others out! About: I've always enjoyed being around animals, and over the years I've had the chance to care for both dogs and cats for family. I've watched my girlfriend's family's three senior cats (now 15, 14, and 21 years old) several times while they've been out of town, making sure they're fed, have fresh water, and keeping their litter boxes clean. Caring for a 21-year-old cat has taught me how important patience and consistency are with senior pets. I've also cared for my brothers' dogs—a 5-year-old Siberian Husky and a 7-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix—sometimes for several days at a time. That includes feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and giving them plenty of attention. I'm comfortable with high-energy dogs as well as older cats and always treat every pet like they're my own. I'm currently a full-time student finishing my last semester of college while working part time as a digital forensics intern. During the summer, my internship is Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and I'm available for pet care anytime after my internship each day. Once the fall semester begins, my internship is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while my classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 4:00 p.m. I'm also available most evenings and weekends, so I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work around you and your pet's needs.
