About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. (my soul dog’s ashes are in my paw tattoo 🐾🩷) I grew up with Rottweilers and currently have two of my own, Gino & Haus, they're my whole world! I also have a handful of kitties🥰 My passion for animal care goes back as far as I can remember. From baby videos of me crawling on my dog and giving him a big hug & kiss, to completing a veterinary training class in 10th grade, where I learned the basics of animal health and handling! There even was one time I rescued two dogs on the side of the highway who had dug out of their backyard!! I now have about 3.5 years of hands-on experience working with animals, including two years at doggy daycares, where I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I treat every pet like they're my own and I always try my best to give them a safe, loving, reliable person they can trust just as much as they trust you, no matter how long it takes them to warm up to me. Working with animals is more than just a job to me—it's what I love, and I plan to make it my lifelong career. I work at a doggy daycare with a flexible schedule, so my availability varies from week to week. I am almost always able to stay overnight for house sitting, and depending on my work schedule, I can spend all day, all morning, or all afternoon and evening with your baby. I always try to spend as much time as I can with your baby. (leaving work is as hard as you can imagine) My most common shift is 1:00 PM–7:00 PM, though I can also work morning, afternoon, and split shifts, though the weekday morning shifts are extremely rare. My weekday shifts are never longer than 6.5 hours, and the only time I may be away for up to 10 hours is on the occasional Saturday when I'm scheduled for a longer shift. On Sundays, I usually work split shifts, which means I'm able to come home and spend about 2½ hours with your pet between work periods. If it's a good fit for your baby and you're comfortable with it, I'd also be happy to talk about bringing them with me to my work so they can enjoy extra socialization, enrichment, and attention, while never leaving my side! I'm committed to keeping your babies routine as normal as possible and will always communicate my schedule ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect!! Your babies safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priority. I love to take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and other special needs so they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away, as if you haven’t even left! I am experienced in administering medications, following food schedules, and providing extremely gentle and personal care. Walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I'll always make sure your baby gets plenty of exercise, attention, playtime, and affection (and making sure they know it!!) while I keep their routine as normal and consistent as I possibly can! I treat every pet as if they were my own, and pay close attention to their behavior so I can quickly notice and respond accordingly with any changes or concerns. You will also always get regular updates and photos about how they were and their day!
About: A couple of months after we married my husband adopted our first dog, Sandy, and I’ve been hooked ever since. That was 26 years ago. Both of my sons are adults now so I have free time to focus my attention on your baby. Your baby will have my undivided attention. My property is fenced and I will accompany your baby outdoors. About: I have had corgis, very pushy dogs, my entire life. I have had puppies and elder dogs and have taken care of them and walked them through it all. I work more in the afternoon and night as a an employee at Plato’s closet so my availability is more in the mornings! I am very flexible and don’t mind sleeping at hosts’ houses even if it’s a week day! I am always ready to play with the dogs or just cuddle with them! Whether that be playing or laying, I will keep the dogs comfortable no matter what.
About: I have 4 dogs of my own and I’ve had dogs for 30 years of my life. I’m experienced with special needs as well since I have had dogs with various disabilities. This includes experience with senior dogs and medications I am currently in nursing school and have a flexible schedule! Your pup can get as much play time and outside time as they need! I’m also available for a regular walk to get your baby out of the house and a little fresh air during the work day or on the weekend when you have a busy schedule. Kelly was communicative with us, she also brought in packages and took out the garbage as needed. She won over our Ginger cat who was acting shy around her. Stephanie was a fantastic cat sitter! When two days before my vacation my cat suddenly needed to go on liquid steroids, Stephanie was up to the task! She was very communicative about the medication progress as well as how my cat was doing. Stephanie even went above and beyond with little things to make sure my cat and house were okay over the 8 day booking. I will absolutely use Stephanie again and highly recommend her!
