Lemme meet that dog!! I would be more than happy to establish a new routine with your furry family member, or even just fill in during vacation season. I typically like to book no more than 1-3 months in advance.

Safety, trust & environment
My pets' health and safety are a top priority in my house. I take time daily to make sure water dishes are full & clean, food is distributed appropriately, and any hazards are out of reach. I also have some experience giving oral medications to my dog and cat, and am comfortable doing it for others if need be. I am all about slow blinks and gentle tones of voice 🥰
Information Brianna S. would like to know about your pet
I love both cats and dogs, so please feel free to overshare about your loved ones. Having a cat with heart issues, as well as helping roommates over the years with their special needs cats, has certainly given me a deep concern for all animals. I have some commands and gestures that I default to, but I will of course defer to yours if you have specific instructions that work with your pet(s). Just message them to me!
A typical day
I am a big proponent of enrichment activities; things such as frozen peanut butter-filled chew toys, treat balls, non-rawhide busy bones, and cardboard tubes filled with treats, to name a few. I am also keen to sit and give affection, so don’t worry if your pet is on the needy side! There is a game I like to curate, that I call ‘Find the Treat.’ It’s pretty simple but I’ve found it really occupies cats and dogs alike. Basically, I will take a handful of small treats (think Feline Greenies), and place them in pet-centric spots, stimulating their prey drive and possibly distracting them from boredom behaviors. It’s wonderful if you’re trying to get your pal to use a new bed more often, or to prefer hanging in a certain area.

Pet care experience
My name is Brianna, and I'm looking forward to meeting your pet! As a kid, I had the privilege of loving a Shitzu and an Australian Shepherd; both of whom taught me very valuable lessons over those years. Other experiences include watching pets of many sizes for family and friends, including (but not limited to): Yorkies, Dachshunds, Whippets, Pit-mixes, Chow-mixes, Doodles, Labs, and Retrievers. My personal approach: I *do not yell* at dogs unless there is imminent danger. I will give a few verbal, correcting commands first, and then move to physical cues if that does not work. I believe that animals have both loyalty and autonomy; and when you allow them to have some of the latter, it helps bolster the former. It is also my aim to conform to the rules and commands that you have set for your pet. Consistency is key! My walking style is relaxed. I am 5'3" so my strides are not the longest, but I have spent countless hours walking my own dogs in several different scenarios. I am also happy to spend time playing with your pet; whether by fetch, tug-o-war, or however your pet likes to exert energy. Before doing overnight stays, I would like to meet and spend time with you & your pet at least once. After a rapport is established, I'm happy to care for your loved one in-house. * I have recently updated my rates in order to continue serving the Coraopolis-Sewickley-North Fayette area sustainably! * Repeat Customers should ask about locking in their rates!

Reviews

Brianna takes such good care of my pets when I’m away! My cats wait for her by the door with each visit. My babies are so friendly and social that it’s hard to leave them, and my cat needs daily meds. Brianna spends time with them in addition to daily care tasks like food, litterbox, and water! She even cares for my pet pigeon! I come home from trips to a house that’s clean like I left it and happy kitties! She takes the best check in photos and is so thoughtful and kind.

Brianna is the best! She’s very helpful and accommodating. She clearly loves animals and their well being. My pup is always so happy after she been with him. A huge bonus is that she takes wonderful pictures of my dog 🐶

Things always go seamlessly when we work with Brianna. We highly recommend her.

Brianna is great! Really good with our dogs (who need a minute to warm up to people). Would recommend!
