Availability
I work full time during the week, with a hybrid office/work from home schedule, so some days I have extra flexibility. I am otherwise generally available during the evenings and most weekends. I am open to just the occasional visit/walk when you need some extra help, or more consistent visits if you are traveling.

I love taking walks in my neighborhood, and taking advantage of the great parks we have in the area (Frick and Schenley). I would love to have your pet join me.
Information Alyssa B. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know anything and everything you want to tell me! I think it's important to know how pets react to meeting new people. For dogs, it is definitely important to understand how they might react to encountering other dogs (or any other animals) during a walk, and if there are any particular commands they respond to particularly well.
A typical day
I love to take walks around Shadyside - there are so many beautiful streets and friendly people around. I also love walking and spending time at our local parks. But I am also perfectly happy to explore somewhere new, wherever your dog is comfortable!

dependable and patient animal lover
Pet care experience
I have always loved animals! When I was younger, I had fish; in second grade, I was finally able to convince my mom (on Mother's Day, no less!) to finally let me bring home a kitten. My parents currently have 2 cats, and I love taking over their care when I'm visiting. While we have only had cats in our home, I spent my middle school and high school years (and some college summers) petsitting my neighbors' two wonderful dogs. I walked the dogs on weeknights when they couldn't get home from work early enough. I also cared for them for a full week at a time when they went on vacation - walking, feeding, and playing with them. After all those years, they became like a second set of pets to me! Now, I have a beagle and love dog mom life.
Reviews

Alyssa was so good to Theo while I was away for the weekend. He’s still a puppy and he’s a lab, so he’s full of energy and loves attention! She walked him, played with him and fed him. She stopped in 3 times a day and was attentive and caring and Theo loved her!

So sad to be moving, but I cannot recommend Alyssa enough. She has been caring for my pets for years and was always so caring and attentive. If you want someone trustworthy, reliable, and considerate, look no further. The bunnies will miss her and so will I, and I hope anyone else looking for the right person to care for their pets can read my reviews and know that she will not only perform any tasks with precision and care, but that she goes above and beyond whenever she can for your animals.

Amazing as always, goes above and beyond every time and I never have to stress!

I’m a repeat booker with Alyssa, but she always does a great job with my cat. She always plays with him and goes above and beyond my expectations. She truly cares about the pets she watches and you can tell through her work.
