About: What sets me apart is how comfortable and patient I am with all kinds of pet personalities. I know every dog and cat is different, some are energetic and playful, while others may be shy or need a little extra time to warm up. I’m attentive to each pet’s routine and individual needs, whether that means walks and playtime, lots of attention, or simply giving them a comfortable and calm environment. I’m also comfortable caring for pets of different ages and adjusting to the specific instructions their owners provide. My full-time job offers a lot of flexibility since I build my own schedule and have the ability to work remotely rather than being in the office every day. This makes it easy for me to fit pet care into my routine and adjust my availability day-to-day. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or spending a little extra time with your pet, I’m able to plan my schedule around their needs and make sure they’re getting plenty of attention and care! About: For the past 10 plus years, I have volunteered at a local animal shelter, where I care for dogs by walking and feeding them. I have been a lifelong dog owner, and I currently have two dogs: a dachshund and a medium-sized Labrador/Pit Bull mix. Spending time with dogs is something I enjoy, and caring for them is rewarding. Their companionship brings me a great deal of happiness. I am available during the day as well as in the evenings. Anytime after 5pm is perfect for me! I can do weekend mornings and days as well. About: Hello there, I am a certified Veterinary technician, I have been in wildlife and small animal care for the past 14 years while dog sitting on the side. I am new to the Pittsburgh area and looking to find new clients! My previous experience includes zookeeping and wildlife rehabilitation in the Boston area for 7 years and then working for a professional dog sitting/hiking company in Medford MA for another 5 years. I moved to Pittsburgh to get my CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician license) in 2024, and now work at a lovely little small animal clinic. I am well versed in animals with complex medication/therapy needs, such as insulin administration and exacting medication timing requirements. I am also very experienced with exotics, particularly birds. I work full time Monday-Friday so I am primarily seeking weekend and holiday pet-sitting arrangements. I am also happy to work in drop in cat care around this type of schedule as well. I cannot currently offer in my own home pet care due to landlord request, but I have been dog/cat/house sitting in clients homes for 14 years and am experienced with maintaining specific pet routines and training schedules. I have a leave no trace policy when it comes to other peoples homes. I am also very happy to water plants and manage aquarium care as needed. Grace watched our two dogs while we were out of town for a few days. She got to know our doggos ahead of time and was very friendly and kind when we met her. She was punctual and professional. Grace communicated with us when necessary when taking care of our dogs. She let us know that they were eating their food and doing well on their walks, and she always provided lovely photos so we could see them while we were away. When we got back from our trip we could see our home and doggos had been well cared for. I fully recommend Grace to anyone looking for someone to care for their pets.
This is the second time I have used Matthew for 3visits per day for my dog. Teddy was well taken care of. I received regular updates and photos. The sessions started off with Teddy setting off the security system. as Matthew arrived ! He handled it well. We have Matthew booked for several more times over the next few months. I highly recommend him
We had a very last minute need for a check in visit for our dogs and Sydnie was an absolute angel! She fed and walked our pups and spent some sweet time snuggling with them as well! We hope the next time isn’t quite so urgent, and can’t wait for Sydnie to visit again!
