About: I've lived with animals pretty much my entire life. I've had two dogs, two rats, a mouse, a ferret, and seven cats total. I often pet sit my friends and families dogs and cats and even guinea pigs and geckos. So while I don't have any trained professional experience in pet care, I do have an abundance of personal experience. I absolutely adore animals so I will do my best to treat yours with as much care as I have. This is my full time job so I will be available for all of my listed services every day of the week from 8 am - 10 pm preferably in day light hours. I am very flexible with my hours so I can prioritize your schedule. While walking your pet I will remain vigilant to ensure its safety. About: I limit the number of pets so they get personalized love and attention. From shy senior cats to high-energy puppies, I have had and worked with all ages and needs. I provide frequent updates catered to the owner’s request. I like to build trust through consistence and long-term relationships so your pet sees a familiar face and is happy. I am retiring from teaching and will have a part time work-from-home job and will have plenty of time for love and cuddles with your pets. I walk several times a day so your dog (or walking cat), gets plenty of exercise. I have a fenced in covered patio so they get plenty of fresh air! Again, I walk several times a day, have a park at the end of my road, I have a fenced in patio and there is a dog park within walking distance of my home. If they ride well in a car, I will take them to a big park for walks and dog park socialization. I have had dogs since I was born and cats all of my adult life. I have watched many animals for friends, families, neighbors, etc. I have had rabbits, turtles, fish, iguanas as well. I have a special place in my heart for animals.

Everyone in my family has had pets, most of them large-breed dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I genuinely haven’t met a pet I didn’t like! While I’m not able to host pets in my own home due to apartment restrictions, I’m more than happy to care for your pet in their familiar environment. Whether that means drop-ins, walks, or full-day care, I’ll follow your instructions closely and make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, affection, and activity. Communication is important to me too—I’ll keep you updated with messages, photos, and anything else you need to feel confident your pet is in good hands.

“It was our first time using Rover and Lindsey was an excellent companion and dog walker for our pit bull mix! Her report after each visit was thorough and usually included an extra anecdote about their time together and great pictures! Lindsey very concerned and asked for our advice when our dog wasn't eating much food when we initially left. We appreciated her initiative. When there was a big rain storm and they couldn't walk outside, Lindsey spent the time playing with our dog inside and gave him the attention and exercise that he needed. Overall a great experience and highly recommend Lindsey!”

We have a large layout in our apartment for dogs to run around in and explore, but we also have a side yard with a chain that the dog can explore as well! We have lots of treats and would love to host your dogs! My girlfriend and I are moving to Austin so my schedule is very flexible right now. I am working as an uber driver right now until our lease is up in a few months! We have a completely separate office room in our apartment that your dogs can stay in. We have a dog bed and area for them to sleep as well as plenty of treats! Also a chain outside for them to run around and play with the toys with have for them!
