When there was a big rain storm and they couldn't walk outside, Lindsey spent the time playing with our dog inside and gave him the attention and exercise that he needed. About: For 10+ years, I’ve pet sat for family, friends, and neighbors. Growing up with rescue pets, I have experience caring for anxious and distracted dogs. I also have experience caring for puppies and senior dogs with disabilities. I have a love for all animals, and can ensure great care, attention, and love will be given to your pet!! I’m currently working remote 4 days a week, with Monday as my typical day in office, although the day is subject to change per week. When working from home or on the weekends, I can let the dog out frequently, walk the dog everyday, play multiple times outside, pet and brush when inside, and give lots of attention to. I’m available to pet sit on my day in office as well, but the dog would not be let out between the hours of 7am-4:30 pm. When I pet sit, the dog is typically within my sight at all times. When at the house, the dog will be taken out hourly and played with frequently throughout the day. The water bowl will be refilled at least twice a day when food is given, or more if needed. Little objects or any choking hazards will be out reach for the dog, as well as food and other dangers. Walks will be given daily if the weather permits, as well as constant pets. Your dog will receive a lot of love with me!!

About: I went to a vet tech program in high school which made me familiar with disabilities and health issues in pets. I have trained both my medium/large dogs and even one of my cats. I am comfortable with animals of any size or shape. I have also raised three happy independent kittens from when they were only just about a month old. I am currently working on getting a job as an EMT and applying to colleges, Currently I am available weekdays after 3 pm and weekends after 12:00 pm(this is flexible and I would be willing to stretch earlier in the day if needed but it is a general guideline). My availability once I get a job at an ambulance company may change but it should not be anything too significant. I can come over for up to a few hours a day to spend time with/ feed any animals in the household, I unfortunately can not stay overnight due to my own cat at home but would be willing to come over earlier in the morning and stay all day if necessary. If walking a dog we will discuss and plan a route, or discuss how long the walks should be for me to walk beforehand.

About: Hi, I am Mamie (I have gone by Mamie since birth but am technically named Mary) and I am a lifelong pet person, and professional sitter! I am fully privately insured for pet sitting and dog walking and carry broadened property damage coverage, animal bailee coverage and veterinary reimbursement coverage. I do two check ins a day with LOTS of pictures, and am a quick responder to messages (my average response time is 6 min). My most consistent feedback is that i am very communicative and professional, and that owners feel secure and never worry about their pets well-being when they are with me! My mother was a vet tech and I grew up rescuing and helping with medical care, years of volunteer work with multiple animal shelters, 20+ years of pet ownership myself and a few years of professional sitting experience both here in Pittsburgh and in Seattle. I have ample experience in a multitude of pet types and situations. I work as a housekeeper around the Pittsburgh area along with Pet Sitting and drop-ins during the day. Most jobs take me away from the home 4-6 hours at a time, the absolute longest I will/ever have left pets during the day is 8 hours, but that is rare and discussed/agreed upon with pet parents before booking. Constant care (any let that cannot be left alone 2-4 hours at a time) is available at an increased rate of 2.5x my normal daily rate. I am experienced and comfortable with oral medications and subcutaneous injections and administer meds with care, compassion and confidence. Injections do incur a small extra cost to service ($5/injection) for increased risk and expertise. I am clean, responsible, professional and trustworthy. I will only take jobs with a meet and greet beforehand, for the safety, individualized care and comfort of all of us (me, you and your pet babies.) As a housekeeper I am used to going into strangers homes and having a high level of integrity and care for their space and belongings and am very clean and fastidious. I keep things looking like I wasn't there as much as possible. I will clean litter boxes daily, change water bowls daily and do deep cleans of water fountains 1x a week. I do house-sitting and drop-ins throughout the Pittsburgh area, as well as a few short housekeeping jobs throughout the week. For house-sitting I make your home my "base" and am in and out throughout the day if I have other jobs scheduled, normally gone about 4-6 hours at a time. I am very open and communicative about my schedule with pet parents and spend the majority of my days with your pet and always stay overnight. If I don't have other jobs scheduled during the day than I am spending my day with your babies, same as you would! I do offer constant care with enough notice to block out my schedule, at an increased rate of 2.5x my daily price to cover lost wages from my daytime bookings. In clients homes I am respectful, clean, tidy, responsible and trustworthy. I mind my business and am not judgemental. I ask lots of questions at the meet and greet and keep extensive notes on each pet that I keep on file and can be updated regularly/are available for all current and future bookings.

About: I am a young professional violinist based in Pittsburgh, and I have spent many breaks home from school dog-sitting around my neighborhood. Whether it‘s walks or giving pets, being around animals brings me so much joy and I would love to keep dog-sitting while I build my career as a musician. About: HI! I am Athena! I am a super active dog lover! I have grown up with dogs my entire life. I recently adopted a cockapoo puppy and raised him for the past 6 months. Sadly I had to leave him at home with my parents so I would love to bond with another dogs. Before my cockapoo, I had a bischon frise my entire life. Besides caring for my own dogs, I dog sat for people in my neighborhood as well as walked dogs. I dog sat for the same dog for 5 years. About: My names Victoria and I'm a 32 year old graphic designer. I work from home full time during the week. I love dogs and will treat your pup like they’re my own. I live in an apartment with a small fenced in patio suitable for small dogs. My dog loves it!! I allow pets on furniture and I welcome all the cuddles! I grew up having a dog of my own, so taking care of animals comes very naturally to me. I currently have a 6 year old, 20 pound, curly haired pup named Bandit. He’s the sweetest boy! I have the option to bring him along for sittings or he can stay home at my parents house where he is completely spoiled, wile I come spoil your pets. I’m excited to meet you and your animals and can’t wait to grow my animal loving community through Rover. I work from home full time as a graphic designer. I have great flexibility to give your pets all the attention they need during the day! My evening and weekends are totally free. I always follow whatever rules you use with your pet in your home or in mine. I think consistency with pets is key. For example, if you allow your pets on beds and furniture then I will also allow them. But if you don’t allow this, I will maintain that consistency for you when they are with me. I know that’s what I would want for my dog, to feel as similar to home as possible.
