“Amanda and her son were great with Nash! He loves little kids and I’m sure it made his day getting to play! She was super responsive and was able to take Nash out last minute which relieved a lot of stress when my prior arrangement fell through the night before. Would definitely recommend!”

“Delaney is the best. She very accommodating and does her best to care for your fur baby the same as you would. She’s prompt with her communication which is very helpful. Looking forward to booking her regularly.”

“Jake has recently started doing daily walks with my girl Flower (and was her sitter once before), and he is awesome. Always on time, super flexible with changes, and Flower absolutely loves him!”
“Hannah was great with my dog Daisy. She walked her while I was away on vacation and maintained communication with me everyday. When it was too hot to walk the entire time, she played with Daisy and gave her snuggles inside. I definitely recommend her and will book again.”

“Emily was wonderful and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provided! She was reliable, communicative, and my dog was clearly very well taken care of and comfortable with her. I had great peace of mind knowing that Roo was in great hands. I will happily rebook her in the future!”

“Shaina is amazing as always! She is reliable and capable, I know Munch is getting the exercise and training that he needs while I'm away. Munch loves going for his walks with her!”

“This is the second time Lauren has taken care of cooper (both times on short notice) and I’m happy we have someone we can trust when we go out of town to take care of our fur baby! She’s attentive and sends pictures to us, keeping us up to date on how he’s eating and just doing in general. Definitely recommend lauren to take care of your fur babies! ?”

About: Before Rover I didn’t have much experience with dogs if I’m being honest. The only experience I had prior with a dog was a baby pitbull and that was for about a year. That being said, despite the lack of experience I had, I have gained more experience from caring for dogs on Rover. My love for animals in general is why I am open to continue learning. I will still provide the same love, care and affection for a dog as I would a cat. My daily and weekly routine is very open for pet care. I am currently on maternity leave so I have lots of availability throughout my days. I treat them like their family and not strangers or “just for the money type of thing”. If the client has special requests as far as how they would want their pet taken care of, I would follow those requests and update the clients along the way.
About: I have taken care of neighbors’, family’s, and friend’s dogs plenty of times before, from small to big dogs. I am very attentive to detail, so I will be able to care for your dog’s individual needs. Most recently, I have cared for a miniature schnauzer puppy, a black lab puppy, and two mid-aged mixed breed dogs. I have additional experience with doodles, king cavalier spaniels, dauschunds, pitbulls, and pugs. I am currently studying to take my physical therapy board examination so I will my schedule is flexible. I am not working at the moment, but hope to get a full-time job after taking my examination at the end of July. A part-time job may be added in the near future. I am willing to feed them, walk them, play with them, let them out to the bathroom, and clean up after them. Whatever they need, I will willingly provide for them. I can easily crate your dog if needed and spent my last semester away at college lifting a lot at the gym, so there need be no worries of the dog walking itself. I enjoy being outdoors when the weather is nice, so if that’s something your pet also enjoys, I am glad to spend time outdoors with them. If they are more the indoor, cuddly type, I am to accompany them in that as well.
“Maria was fabulous. She was consistent and kind and Kev fell in love with her. She was always quick to respond to messages and gave daily feedback on his walks. We will definitely reach out to her again!”

“Did such an amazing job with my puppy! She was very helpful and gave some great tips and knowledge about dogs ◡̈ looking forward to being able to have her watch my dog again!”

“Richard walked our two dogs for the first time recently and the experience exceeded my expectations. Both are extra large dogs--80 and 130 pounds. Not easy customers (both react to deer, dogs, etc.), but he managed them very capably. He was very knowledgeable, timely, and attuned to the dogs needs, as well as agreeable to work with. Will definitely book him again.”

“Brianna always goes above and beyond for my pup Venture. She put some paw balm on and carried him down the stairs outside so he wouldnt get salt on his paws. I would definitely recommend you book with her.”

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs in a single parent household, so I did a lot of the work to take care of them and train them. Most recently, I helped raise a golden retriever, who is now one hundred and ten pounds of pure love. I find myself gravitating towards animals more than people at times and no matter where I am, if there is an animal around, we always seem to find our way to one another. I do currently work full-time. However, I am remote some days and off on weekends, so my schedule does allow for flexibility at this time. I would follow the guidance and rules set in place by the homeowner. One example could be ensuring a dog is leashed at all times while on a walk. Another could be sticking to feeding the animals. Only the food provided by the owner and understanding any dietary restrictions or allergies the animal may have.
About: I first started dog sitting when I was just 9 years old. It was the first job I ever had and it has continued to be a love of mine throughout my life. I come from a family that treats their pets like family and have plenty of love to offer your pet. My mom often dogsat when I was growing up, so I'm terrific with animals that aren't already familiar with me. I am also an active runner and have plenty of energy to keep up with even the most enthusiastic pet and would enjoy taking your beloved pet on lengthy runs and walks if to their liking. When it comes to reliability I have several years of customer service background and have a solid resume to back me up. I have a flexible full-time job. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday I have the most availability. The rest of the week I am available only in the mornings before 9am and then again any time after 5pm. I can also do quick/flexible lunch break work as well around 12pm. I have my own car and am available to travel and take trips to surrounding parks or for long walks. I am also open to staying at a residence for the day Sun-Tues.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Stowe Township
Jeremy was very thoughtful and he was asking a lot of questions about Buddy. He wanted to get to know him before his walk. I appreciate that! Jeremy was on time and took pride in his job! He is differently an animal lover! He was very thoughtful about our concern about Buddy. Very responsible!

Ashton is absolutely wonderful! She is definitely a dog person - seen by all of the pictures she sends and the great summary of how things went. My dog Mabel is high energy and working on training - Ashton is knowledgeable about keeping things consistent for Mabel and asked great questions to make sure she had all information to care for Mabel. Will definitely continue to book!

Grace was great with our little boy! Very responsive & detailed in her walks with Berni. He seemed to enjoy his walks very much, & he was clearly cared for. We would book Grace again, & recommend her to anyone looking for pet care. She was even flexible when our plans changed last minute, & we are thankful for that.

Sarah is amazing!! She genuinely cares about your dog’s well being and sends updates after each walk. Which as a helicopter dog mom, I absolutely love. I had only ever trusted family to watch my dog Nash, so handing him off to someone new was a big deal for me. Sarah made it easy by meeting Nash before his first walk, and I immediately felt comfortable with him in her care. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and communicative, I 1000% recommend Sarah!

Richard walked our two dogs for the first time recently and the experience exceeded my expectations. Both are extra large dogs--80 and 130 pounds. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
