About: I grew up with cats but have rescued many cats and dogs over the years. I've rescued kittens, adults, and senior animals alike. I have loved many pets through old age, administer medicine, and loved them beyond their last breath. I currently have 3 cats and 1 dog. I am a teacher who is off in the summer time. My schedule is flexible through August. During the school year, I am available on the weekends. I have rescued many animals, helping them get acclimated to their new setting. I rescued a half-starved kitten, keeping her in a separate room for months, giving her special care until she thrived. I have had senior pets and cared for a cat and dog through cancer, administering medicine. I have rescued a dog applying the 3-3-3 rule. I currently have a special needs cat who needs medicine twice a day.

About: I have had pets since I was a young child. My childhood dog was named Kramer and he had medical issues with which I was responsible in learning his care. I have had my oldest cat since I was 11 years old (he is currently 16) and he requires daily medication and weekly injections. I have other cats who I care for full time and I assist in caring for my parent’s dog. I have babysat a newborn kitten for a week before, feeding her from a bottle every 2 hours, helping her poo, and keeping her safe. My one cat, Scruff, who has since passed away, was diabetic and I was responsible for giving him insulin twice a day. I’ve even cared for two hamsters for about 3 months. I have watched over birds before and I even have a pet tarantula who I care for. Overall I have a lot of experience in caring for pets and I treat any animal with the most care and respect. I am always able to find time! I do work a full-time job as a behavioral health therapist, so pets that can not be left alone for more than an average work day won’t be the best fit for me! However, I am always free on the weekends. I live in an apartment with two cats. The neighborhood is very walkable, but the apartment would not be suitable for a high energy dog.

About: I grew up with both cats and dogs in a single parent household, so I did a lot of the work to take care of them and train them. Most recently, I helped raise a golden retriever, who is now one hundred and ten pounds of pure love. I find myself gravitating towards animals more than people at times and no matter where I am, if there is an animal around, we always seem to find our way to one another. I do currently work full-time. However, I am remote some days and off on weekends, so my schedule does allow for flexibility at this time. I would follow the guidance and rules set in place by the homeowner. One example could be ensuring a dog is leashed at all times while on a walk. Another could be sticking to feeding the animals. Only the food provided by the owner and understanding any dietary restrictions or allergies the animal may have.

About: Hello!! I've had my own cat since 2017 and am an avid stray feeder (and occasional trapper). I also volunteer at Kitty Queen Cat Rescue at least 2 days a week, usually doing morning cat care (but sometimes you can find me there during open hours). I feed all of the cats, replace water, scoop litter boxes, clean up whatever I might find, and give medication when needed. I encounter all different types of personalities and customize my approach to each one. I've been volunteering there since October 2025. I've also been pet sitting personally to friends since I was a teenager. I thoroughly enjoy taking care of animals and building trust with them, especially the shy ones. Truly nothing makes me happier than scooping 20 litter boxes with cats all around me. I also regularly take care of my friend's dog who is a spunky and reactive, but very sweet, terrier mix. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to my own cat, so I will understand if you need consistent pictures or a FaceTime call to calm your nerves! I once drove home in a blizzard because I couldn't see my cat on my cameras (she was completely fine). I'm also working on getting my Fear Free Pet Sitter Certification as I believe in preventing as much fear, anxiety, and stress as possible in all pets. Furthermore, I don't believe in assigning spite or malice to any animals. They are all innocent creatures to me. <3 I'm currently only working part-time so I have a lot of time to take care of your pets!! I can do mornings, afternoons, evenings, etc. One of the things I pride myself on is not only taking care of your pet like I would my own, but also your home. I'm a neat freak so I promise to leave it better than I found it! My least favorite part of taking a trip is coming home knowing my apartment would be a mess due to my cat sitter just not really caring. Not with me!

About: Before Rover I didn’t have much experience with dogs if I’m being honest. The only experience I had prior with a dog was a baby pitbull and that was for about a year. That being said, despite the lack of experience I had, I have gained more experience from caring for dogs on Rover. My love for animals in general is why I am open to continue learning. I will still provide the same love, care and affection for a dog as I would a cat. My daily and weekly routine is very open for pet care. I am currently on maternity leave so I have lots of availability throughout my days. I treat them like their family and not strangers or “just for the money type of thing”. If the client has special requests as far as how they would want their pet taken care of, I would follow those requests and update the clients along the way.
