About: I grew up with cats but have rescued many cats and dogs over the years. I've rescued kittens, adults, and senior animals alike. I have loved many pets through old age, administer medicine, and loved them beyond their last breath. I currently have 3 cats and 1 dog. I am a teacher who is off in the summer time. My schedule is flexible through August. During the school year, I am available on the weekends. I have rescued many animals, helping them get acclimated to their new setting. I rescued a half-starved kitten, keeping her in a separate room for months, giving her special care until she thrived. About: I have a bit too much time on my hands and love animals. I've cared for dogs and cats for many years as a volunteer. I'm a complete pacifist and have too much love in my heart not to share it with more animals! I work part time in retail so my schedule is very variable. About: Before Rover I didn’t have much experience with dogs if I’m being honest. The only experience I had prior with a dog was a baby pitbull and that was for about a year. That being said, despite the lack of experience I had, I have gained more experience from caring for dogs on Rover. My love for animals in general is why I am open to continue learning. I will still provide the same love, care and affection for a dog as I would a cat. My daily and weekly routine is very open for pet care. I am currently on maternity leave so I have lots of availability throughout my days. I treat them like their family and not strangers or “just for the money type of thing”. About: I have taken care of neighbors’, family’s, and friend’s dogs plenty of times before, from small to big dogs. I am very attentive to detail, so I will be able to care for your dog’s individual needs. Most recently, I have cared for a miniature schnauzer puppy, a black lab puppy, and two mid-aged mixed breed dogs.
