I have seasonal work that takes up most of my time in the late spring to late fall, but in the winter I have a pretty flexible schedule. We can find a something that works for both you, me, and your furry friends.

Whether you’re dog is a couch potato cuddler or a marathon runner, we’ll have a great time together, no matter whose house we are at. If they want to play, I can play tug-of-war and fetch all day; but, if all they want to do is nap, I’ll keep an eye on them while they do so. At home, I have a selection of dog toys that we can play with and we keep to the main floor of the home. At either my place or yours, I’ll keep you up to date with photos and let you know how we are doing. When I have clients to my home, I keep my cat elsewhere in the house so he would not interact with your pet at all. He is fully vaccinated and gets regular check-ups.

I don't have any breed preferences, I feel comfortable working with both small dogs and large dogs. I’d ask about any special needs the dog has. Does he have any allergies or foods that will make him feel unwell? Are there certain things to be aware while on a walk such as other dogs, children, or squirrels? What kind of toys does he like to play with? Are they a tugger, a chewer, or do they like to play fetch? Do they like to go on long walks or would he like to run free at the dog park?

I love to play fetch, frisbee, tug-o-war, and I’m pretty good with a laser toy if your cats into that! I enjoy long walks and can stay out as long as your pup want to. Once I feel comfortable working with your pup and you are comfortable with me, I am fairly close to the dog park at Bellevue Memorial Park and am only 20 minutes from North Park’s dog runs.

I grew up in a rural area, and dogs were a constant companion at my side. I've had small lap dogs, medium hunting dogs, and I've worked with large German Shepherds. I have experience bathing dogs and doing light grooming. I have experience training puppies and older dogs and would be available to help teach and reinforce basic commands such as sit, stay, and leave it, among others. As far as house-training, I taught one of my clients pup’s to use the bathroom on command so I can help there, too. If you currently have trainer, I can help reinforce what they’ve been working on with you.

This was our first time using Shaina. She was awesome! We did a quick meetup to make sure she understood Rondo's personality, but she was excellent. They got along great and we will definitely rebook if she is available.
The best! Shaina watched our cat and dog while we were on a trip and was amazing as usual. We received so many pictures and videos of them having such a nice time. Our dog gets separation anxiety and he seemed to warm up to her in a couple days so he quickly realized how wonderful she is too. She also helped with extra some house things while we were gone! I cannot say enough great things. We’re lucky to know our boys are in such good hands while we’re away. Thank you for everything Shaina!! 😊
Shaina is absolutely fantastic! I knew from the second I met her she was knowledgeable and professional! I was very hesitant to try Rover but she made the experience extremely pleasant. She is not your average dog walker, she goes above and beyond ❤️10/10 recommend!!
