“Tessa dropped in to check on our dog and give him his dinner and let him out while we were at a wedding. She was attentive to details and instructions and our pup (and cat) were happy to have her visit. We already have her scheduled for a few other visits and are so happy to have found a reliable sitter for our guys!”

“This is our first experience with Rover and certainly not our last. The same is true of Wallis, who was an absolute pleasure to meet and trust with our pets. The time away was out of the country, so confidence in the care plan was important. We were pleasantly surprised to get daily texts from Wallis with brief comments and images of our cats. Call it cat-owner-weirdness, but we could see they were in good spirits and comfortable. More cat-owner-weirdness - checking texts from Wallis while standing in line to view the Sistine Chapel! Thank you, Rover and Wallis!”

About: I am a young professional violinist based in Pittsburgh, and I have spent many breaks home from school dog-sitting around my neighborhood. Whether it‘s walks or giving pets, being around animals brings me so much joy and I would love to keep dog-sitting while I build my career as a musician. As a gigging musician, I have a flexible schedule based around performances, lessons, and auditions. My schedule can vary week to week, but I am almost always squeeze in walks and drop-ins according to my daily availability. My experience with sitting has included home-stays, dropping in multiple times a day, and just going for walks; I am comfortable with all of these options and genuinely enjoy spending quality time with dogs!
About: My partner Jack and I love caring for pets! Both of us have been caretakers for pets practically our whole lives, including senior pets and pets with special needs, in addition to small animals like rodents and birds. Whoever you need help with, we’re more than capable. We are so excited to get to know your pets. With us, your pets will get all the attention and exercise they need during your busy day. We are both very attentive to your pets needs and do our best to make them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. We know just how important your companion is to you, so safety is taken into consideration at all times. We keep dogs on leashes at all times when letting them go outside. I work as a barista at a coffee shop and Jack is an employee at Pitt. Together our schedules allow us to have at least 1 person home for most of the day. On rare occasions when neither of us are home, at most we are away for 3-4 hours. We have a large yard with a lead and 2 cats. Our house is moderately sized, with room for playing and relaxing. We are attentive to feeding schedules and potty breaks.

About: For 10+ years, I’ve pet sat for family, friends, and neighbors. Growing up with rescue pets, I have experience caring for anxious and distracted dogs. I also have experience caring for puppies and senior dogs with disabilities. I have a love for all animals, and can ensure great care, attention, and love will be given to your pet!! I’m currently working remote 4 days a week, with Monday as my typical day in office, although the day is subject to change per week. When working from home or on the weekends, I can let the dog out frequently, walk the dog everyday, play multiple times outside, pet and brush when inside, and give lots of attention to. I’m available to pet sit on my day in office as well, but the dog would not be let out between the hours of 7am-4:30 pm. When I pet sit, the dog is typically within my sight at all times. When at the house, the dog will be taken out hourly and played with frequently throughout the day. The water bowl will be refilled at least twice a day when food is given, or more if needed. Little objects or any choking hazards will be out reach for the dog, as well as food and other dangers. Walks will be given daily if the weather permits, as well as constant pets. Your dog will receive a lot of love with me!!
“Kennedy was great! She checked in on our kitty while we were away for a weekend, and provided cute photos. Our cat, Leia, seemed to really like her and she doesn’t always warm up to strangers right away. It gave me peace of mine throughout our trip knowing that Leia was being taken care of well. We will definitely be booking Kennedy again.”

“Archee was clearly happy to see Robin each day while I was away. He enjoyed his time playing with her. He was well cared for and I’ll look forward to booking Robin again in the near future.”

“Maria is the best! She always takes such great care of our Cooper. He loves her precious family as much as they love him. She always sends pictures and I know he is very well taken care of in her care.”

“Rachel took excellent care of Alfie and Mattie, sent us daily updates and photos, and gave us great peace of mind that “our boys” were very well taken care of. We highly recommend Rachel!”

“Daniel kicked ass. Super communicative about everything and quick to respond. We got great photos of our three cats while we were away and he even brought packages in and cleaned up a hairball, he really went above and beyond and was super easy to get along with, we would absolutely enlist him in the future!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Mount Lebanon
Shannon is very kind with humans and pets. She took care of my dog while I was away for a week. She was extremely reliable, making each visit on time. Shannon gave my dog his daily medications and treated the diarrhea my dog usually gets when I am away. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my dog was well taken care of.

Jackie walks our rambunctious 3-month-old puppy twice a day, once per week. She is punctual, reliable, and quickly replies to messages. The photos she sends after each session are wonderful and I know our puppy loves seeing and playing with her. I would recommend her dog walking service!

Erika was kind enough to accept a drop in visit with our two pups while we were visiting PA from out of town and had a sitter cancel on us last minute! Erika even found the time to stop over for a short meet and greet prior to coming back later to feed and take care of our dogs! Erika was incredibly kind and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend her to anyone! :)

Karsyn was amazing! Even tho we booked her last minute during a holiday weekend, she was super nice, punctual, flexible, and helpful! The animals absolutely loved her, which I could tell through the great pictures she took of them during the visits! She had excellent communication and was overall above and beyond expectations! We will be using her again :)

Tessa dropped in to check on our dog and give him his dinner and let him out while we were at a wedding. She was attentive to details and instructions and our pup (and cat) were happy to have her visit. We already have her scheduled for a few other visits and are so happy to have found a reliable sitter for our guys!

This is the second time I have used Matthew for 3visits per day for my dog. Teddy was well taken care of. I received regular updates and photos. The sessions started off with Teddy setting off the security system. as Matthew arrived ! He handled it well. We have Matthew booked for several more times over the next few months. I highly recommend him
Lindsey looked after our two senior dogs while we were away for a week. This was our first time having someone do drop ins at our house instead of taking our dogs to boarding and Lindsey made the experience super easy - her updates were thorough and made us feel at ease with something that was new to us. We will definitely be booking with her again!

Myah did a wonderful job with our Stella! When I walked in, Stella was like "oh you're here," which is the perfect and desired response when any of us return. Stella should know she is safe at home and whoever walks through that door will take care of her. And Myah did very well, meeting our girl's needs in our neighborhood. Will definitely rebook!

We were in search of a pet sitter for our 16 year old and 10 month old puppy as our long time pet sitter of 10 years retired. We tried another pet sitting company and wasn’t satisfied. We came across Anna and had a met and greet and knew instantly she was a great fit for us! Anna is reliable, kind hearted and loves our pups. We couldn’t be happier that we have found her!
