I personally have had my dog for 16 years and have also had fish and 2 hamsters. I also used to work at a dog daycare so I am used to and very comfortable with dogs of any size. I am also usually available most holidays to watch your furry family members. I will care for your pets just as you would. I always make sure they have fresh water and are given plenty of potty breaks. If they have a certain routine they do every morning/night I will do my best to replicate that so your pet is as comfortable as possible while you are away.

About: I’ve taken care of my own cats and dogs since I was little. I played with them, walked the dogs when needed, fed them, cleaned out litters boxes or the yard. I’ve played with neighborhood pets too. I work at a hospital, nights. I work three days a week and my typical shift is 7pm to 7am. I get home, sleep for a couple hours, and then I get up. I can do pet care the moment I’m done with work or later in the afternoon. I have two cats personally. They are fed every morning when I wake up, and every evening my boyfriend comes to feed them while I go to work. They have dry food that they can graze on through the day, water bowls out in the kitchen, a clean litter box that is in my own room because that’s where they know. They go yearly to the vet for check ups and shots. And they are always given love.

Lindsay was tremendous. This was our first time using Rover and we couldn't have asked for a better result. Lyndsay was very responsive and flexible with us. Matt watched our two Frenchies while away for an international trip and did a wonderful job caring them and our house. Matt was left detailed instructions on the dogs’ and broader home care and followed instructions to a T. Not only did Matt take excellent care of our dogs, but he left our home in excellent condition - maybe even cleaner than when we left! Matt also came prepared to care for the dogs with his own sleeping bag and pillows. There is no rating high enough for Sarah. From pre-booking to the home visit, to watching our home and our fur babies while we were on vacation, Sarah was amazing. Her situation was unique that in addition to taking care of our adult cats, we asked her to take care of a (somewhat friendly) mama cat and her 5 week old kittens. Sarah graciously offered her time for 24/7 care. And of course, just when we thought all was going smoothly, a hornet appeared in our finished basement which is unusual. This is where mama and babies are located. Then another one appeared - VERY unusual. When the third one appeared, not so far from the kittens, Sarah sprang into action and, together, we figured out a safe solution to draw any potential bees inside the home to outside the home. Sarah was a real trooper and took care of the home and pets like they were her own. No more bees appeared and life returned to “normal”. Well, as normal as can be for a home with cats and kittens. I can vouch for Sarah and she will be our first choice for future house and pet care needs. Sarah is friendly, trustworthy, and an excellent communicator and our fur babies loved her.
