About: I have a degree in Zoology so I have a love for and knowledge of how to care for pets of many different species. I personally have had my dog for 16 years and have also had fish and 2 hamsters. I also used to work at a dog daycare so I am used to and very comfortable with dogs of any size. I am also usually available most holidays to watch your furry family members. I will care for your pets just as you would. I always make sure they have fresh water and are given plenty of potty breaks. If they have a certain routine they do every morning/night I will do my best to replicate that so your pet is as comfortable as possible while you are away.

Sarah graciously offered her time for 24/7 care. And of course, just when we thought all was going smoothly, a hornet appeared in our finished basement which is unusual. This is where mama and babies are located. Then another one appeared - VERY unusual. When the third one appeared, not so far from the kittens, Sarah sprang into action and, together, we figured out a safe solution to draw any potential bees inside the home to outside the home. Sarah was a real trooper and took care of the home and pets like they were her own. No more bees appeared and life returned to “normal”. Well, as normal as can be for a home with cats and kittens. I pay attention to routines, behavior changes, and making sure they feel safe, calm, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I work Night Shift at the VA Medical Center as a certified nursing assistant. For your pet’s sake, it is most beneficial for both of us that you book as far in advance as possible so that I can create my weekly schedule around your pets needs. I prefer not to board your animals at my apartment. This is because of a strict policy that my landlord maintains.While I am taking care of your pets at your home, I will check in on them as frequently as you need me to in regards to their care schedule—i.e. feeds and bathroom brakes throughout the day.
