I personally have had my dog for 16 years and have also had fish and 2 hamsters. I also used to work at a dog daycare so I am used to and very comfortable with dogs of any size. I am also a professional pet flight nanny with Coris Pet Journeys. I’m available for check ins anytime during the weekends and most evenings during the work week. I am also usually available most holidays to watch your furry family members. I will care for your pets just as you would. I always make sure they have fresh water and are given plenty of potty breaks. If they have a certain routine they do every morning/night I will do my best to replicate that so your pet is as comfortable as possible while you are away.

Creating a routine and schedule around an animals needs is second nature to me At my home, I have a fenced in yard with multiple shaded areas where my dogs can run, play and rest as needed. We make our own dog food and try to get our dogs out for leisurely walks around our neighborhood weekly. I tailor walks depending on a dogs mobility and love to play and toss around a ball with them, rewarding with snuggles and owner approved treats.

About: I've had cats for over 20 years, all of my adult life. I'm expert at giving medications. I've also owned smaller dogs. I subscribe to positive reinforcement training. I live in the heart of Dormont. Have experience with cats and small/medium dogs. I drive so no issues with transportation. My availability is open! I prefer to watch your pet(s) in your home. If you leave me a schedule, including food, treats, play, and walk times, I will stick to that precisely. I feel that pets not only need a routine, but they do much better in their own environment. If there's an emergency, I will be able to bring them to my home. Obviously communication will be key, and this is only for extenuating circumstances (if I feel they are unsafe due to unforeseen situations). My goal is to continue their established routine, so when you come home, there will be a smooth transition.

About: I have a golden retriever puppy and a cat. I love dogs and have had them my whole life. I grew up around Giant and large breeds, although I am also used to smaller breeds. We can go for walks around a lake and I have a yard that they can play in. I am very responsible, flexible with time, and I will give the best care to all dogs. I have toys and my puppy loves to play. Dogs have a natural sense to know that I will take care of them well. I know how to deal with all types of personalities well. I currently work full time but tend to work early mornings so I am able to spend the majority of the day with your pet. I also have most weekends off. I have a large area outside my apartment where the dogs can play or be walked. I have an apartment with space for the pets to play. If your pet enjoys other dogs I have a friendly and playful Golden Retriever who would be able to keep them company, but if your pet is more shy there is another space to separate them too.

For once my instincts were right! My 15 year old pitbull, Romeo, could not have been happier when I came home. He looked even younger than when I left, I swear! And my sweet and sassy and very smart pit - husky mix, Jade, was calm & serene when i came home.. I could tell that they had gotten amazing care and a ton of love. She took them on wonderful walks, whether it was raining or not, and she made sure to ask any questions that she had. I can’t think of anything that she could’ve done better… I feel so fortunate to have had her as my sitter. I don’t think I will ever use anyone else unless she isn’t available. I can’t recommend her highly enough. And as a dog groomer and vet tech for 12 years, I have high standards for care. She exceeded my standards & expectations.
