She even offered to stay a little longer during visits to keep him company and make sure he was okay when he started having some tummy issues. About: For 10+ years, I’ve pet sat for family, friends, and neighbors. Growing up with rescue pets, I have experience caring for anxious and distracted dogs. I also have experience caring for puppies and senior dogs with disabilities. I have a love for all animals, and can ensure great care, attention, and love will be given to your pet!! I’m currently working remote 4 days a week, with Monday as my typical day in office, although the day is subject to change per week. When working from home or on the weekends, I can let the dog out frequently, walk the dog everyday, play multiple times outside, pet and brush when inside, and give lots of attention to. I’m available to pet sit on my day in office as well, but the dog would not be let out between the hours of 7am-4:30 pm. When I pet sit, the dog is typically within my sight at all times. When at the house, the dog will be taken out hourly and played with frequently throughout the day. The water bowl will be refilled at least twice a day when food is given, or more if needed. Little objects or any choking hazards will be out reach for the dog, as well as food and other dangers. Walks will be given daily if the weather permits, as well as constant pets. Your dog will receive a lot of love with me!!

About: I went to a vet tech program in high school which made me familiar with disabilities and health issues in pets. I have trained both my medium/large dogs and even one of my cats. I am comfortable with animals of any size or shape. I have also raised three happy independent kittens from when they were only just about a month old. I am currently working on getting a job as an EMT and applying to colleges, Currently I am available weekdays after 3 pm and weekends after 12:00 pm(this is flexible and I would be willing to stretch earlier in the day if needed but it is a general guideline). My availability once I get a job at an ambulance company may change but it should not be anything too significant. I can come over for up to a few hours a day to spend time with/ feed any animals in the household, I unfortunately can not stay overnight due to my own cat at home but would be willing to come over earlier in the morning and stay all day if necessary. If walking a dog we will discuss and plan a route, or discuss how long the walks should be for me to walk beforehand.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life but my first job years ago in high school was at a veterinary hospital/ boarding. Because I was still in high school I was mainly in the kennels taking care of all the wonderful fur babies while their parents were out of town. Also, after informing the doctors that I was aspiring to become a vet, they allowed me to put on some scrubs and help out occasionally. I quickly realized that I was going to find a different way to care for animals 😂 Since then I have raised my own dogs and cared for animals of friends and family and have worked a few jobs at doggie daycares. I am an early riser because of my job so if your fur baby is too, they will fit right in! I work construction so I will be out for a portion of the day, but my wife works from home so her and our two pups will always be there to keep your baby company and make them feel right at home! At my house, no where is off limits for a furry friend. We can do anything to accommodate your fur babies to make sure they’re comfortable with their stay and you can have peace of mind that they will be happy and safe while you are away!

Luke is so sweet, trustworthy and his communication skills are spot on! We needed to find someone to replace our former dog sitter and my bestie recommended using Rover. Josie was great. Showed up promptly, and sent many photos and details on how our cat Timothy was doing. She made sure to scoop his litter and feed him and update us when doing so. Additionally she clearly has a love and strong knowledge of cats. Would definitely recommend and will be requesting her to watch our cat again in the future!
Lillian did a great job with our dog. We had Lillian stop by while we were at work for the day to let our dog out and to play. Our dog is high energy, and gets over excited sometimes, but Lillian was perfect with her. We also received pictures and an update afterwards. Highly recommend!
Kennedy was very flexible and picked up my booking on very short notice! She was extremely kind, respectful, and responsive. She was attentive to all my cats needs, asked questions on how to care for him best, and listened to all my requests. I asked for a visit as I went out of town and needed someone for the last day as I had no idea what time I was coming home. I gave instructions and told him that he can leave after doing what was asked since I knew my cat was going to come out. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
