About: I have had dogs my whole life, and have experience with both small and large dog care. Experience giving medication to dogs. I also enjoy taking dogs for walks.. I currently work part-time, but can arrange pet care around my work schedule. I am a recent high school graduate and will be going to college in the fall, but can be available from time to time to sit. I’m a lifelong dog lover, I’ve never known a time in my life where I haven’t had a dog as a pet. I treat my dogs like my siblings and would do the same for any dog I’m caring for.

About: I got my first dog at 10 years old and have loved them ever since. I love to help get them outside and keep them company. I work remotely and have flexibility to pop in for visits and walks during the days and evening. We also recently lost 1 of our 2 dogs and would love to find more dog friends in the area. We have one senior mutt who spends the day with me and my toddler at home. He is a rescue who can be timid and appreciates his space at times. We love to take him for long walks and make sure he is comfortable with his people and surroundings.

About: As a caregiver of humans, my number one asset for this job is patience. I am not easily startled or upset, and treat any accidents or change in plans as a reason to simply go with the flow. Having worked with medically complex newborns, colic babies, and overnight nanny shifts, I am well equipped to deal with a pet that might be anxious or jumpy because they miss their parent. I currently work as a nanny and doula, so my schedule fluctuates greatly. At times I may have multiple baby/mother clients, and at times I may only have one, and am seeking flexible caregiving work with animals to brighten my slower weeks. From my experience as a nanny and doula, I always prioritize safety, following caregiving instructions and bringing a calm energy to your home to make your pet feel comfortable and loved. I do not care for animals in my own home as my cat is happier being an only child. I offer drop ins and walks for cats and small/medium dogs. I have over five years experience working in other people’s homes with both animals and children, so I am very thorough and detail oriented, always remembering to shut doors behind me and keep things safely out of the reach of babies and animals. As a doula, I often enter people’s homes at a very vulnerable and chaotic time and so I am used to being a responsible source of stability as a caregiver.

About: I am a married mother with a 14 year old daughter and a 17 year old son. I also have 2 cats and a sweet 8 year old pit mix. Animals and animal rescue are my passion and I have been watching friends' and neighbors' dogs in my home for years. I have a fenced in backyard and my cats and dog are good with dogs. I would be willing to host dogs for over night stays, weekends or week-long vacations. Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs since I was born! My mother is a hopeless dog rescuer just like me and I have always had multiple dogs in my home. Meet my pets I have 2 cats and 1 dog About my yard My back yard is completely fenced in. There is a long flat grassy area and a big hilly area for them to run. My experience administering medication I am comfortable administering oral medications. I currently work from home most of the time so I will be around to make sure your dog gets lots of attention and time. I have a fenced in backyard and a friendly, playful dog to keep your dog company. My children are older and really good with dogs.

About: I remember every pet’s name—and earn their trust quickly. I grew up around strong breeds, like German Shepards and Dobermans. I am most comfortable with midsize and smaller breeds, and take on big dogs in a case by case situation. I am a current rescue dog mom, and a former cat lady. I provide calm, confident, loving care—treating your pet like they’re my own. I currently work part-time, during the day, often from home, which makes me an ideal sitter for those mid-day potty breaks. Creating a routine and schedule around an animals needs is second nature to me At my home, I have a fenced in yard with multiple shaded areas where my dogs can run, play and rest as needed. We make our own dog food and try to get our dogs out for leisurely walks around our neighborhood weekly. I tailor walks depending on a dogs mobility and love to play and toss around a ball with them, rewarding with snuggles and owner approved treats.

About: Growing up, I always had pets around my home. From a docile miniature Dachshund to an excitable (perhaps… crazy?) German Shepherd, I have taken care of dogs of various sizes and personalities! I love both over-excitable pups and older dogs who need extra support and care. In the past, I have spent time volunteering with Mastiffs to Mutts Rescue to transport rescue dogs from their foster homes to their forever homes, so I have experience handling very large dogs! I currently have two gray tabbies (a bonded pair of sisters) and grew up with other feline friends. I understand the kind of care they need when their favorite humans are away, whether they are skittish or brave adventurers! I'm currently a music teacher in Washington County, so I am tend to only take clients over holidays and throughout the summer months. I am also available on most weekends with at least 2 days notice. I live in a small home with my own cats, so I am not available for pet-sitting in my own home. However, I have experience pet-sitting and house-sitting and take extra care when in someone’s home. Security and safety of your pet and home is my first priority. I am more than willing to share updates and photos of your pet or home with you to ease any worries you may have while away from your furry friends!
