I regularly help family, friends, and neighbors with walking and pet care, and I’ve helped raise and train my grandma’s 60-pound dog since she was a puppy. I also walk my own energetic 70-pound dog every day, so I’m comfortable with large, active breeds. I love staying active and enjoy running, so if your dog enjoys longer walks or jogging, I’d be happy to keep them exercised. I understand that every dog has different needs and will always follow your care instructions to make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable. Because I work as a nurse aide from 3–11 p.m., I’m available for morning and early afternoon walks and drop-in visits. I pride myself on being punctual, reliable, and treating every pet like my own. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. (my soul dog’s ashes are in my paw tattoo 🐾🩷) I grew up with Rottweilers and currently have two of my own, Gino & Haus, they're my whole world! There even was one time I rescued two dogs on the side of the highway who had dug out of their backyard!! I now have about 3.5 years of hands-on experience working with animals, including two years at doggy daycares, where I've cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I treat every pet like they're my own and I always try my best to give them a safe, loving, reliable person they can trust just as much as they trust you, no matter how long it takes them to warm up to me. I am almost always able to stay overnight for house sitting, and depending on my work schedule, I can spend all day, all morning, or all afternoon and evening with your baby. I always try to spend as much time as I can with your baby. (leaving work is as hard as you can imagine) My most common shift is 1:00 PM–7:00 PM, though I can also work morning, afternoon, and split shifts, though the weekday morning shifts are extremely rare. My weekday shifts are never longer than 6.5 hours, and the only time I may be away for up to 10 hours is on the occasional Saturday when I'm scheduled for a longer shift. On Sundays, I usually work split shifts, which means I'm able to come home and spend about 2½ hours with your pet between work periods. If it's a good fit for your baby and you're comfortable with it (and comfortable paying for it😅), I'd also be happy to talk about bringing them with me to my work so they can enjoy extra socialization, enrichment, and attention, while never leaving my side! I'm committed to keeping your babies routine as normal as possible and will always communicate my schedule ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect!! Your babies safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priority. I love to take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and other special needs so they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away, as if you haven’t even left! I am experienced in administering medications, following food schedules, and providing extremely gentle and personal care. Walks, drop-in visits, or overnight stays, I'll always make sure your baby gets plenty of exercise, attention, playtime, and affection (and making sure they know it!!) while I keep their routine as normal and consistent as I possibly can! I treat every pet as if they were my own, and pay close attention to their behavior so I can quickly notice and respond accordingly with any changes or concerns. You will also always get regular updates and photos about how they were and their day!

We were nervous about leaving her when I went back to work, but Delta adjusted very well and gets so excited when Ava comes by. Ava spends the perfect amount of time with her, making sure she gets plenty of opportunities to relive herself, play and get water. She even keeps any eye out for any concerns. We really appreciate her timeliness everyday and flexibility whenever we require a last minute adjustment in the time that she stops by.
