About: Growing up, I always had pets around my home. From a docile miniature Dachshund to an excitable (perhaps… crazy?) German Shepherd, I have taken care of dogs of various sizes and personalities! I love both over-excitable pups and older dogs who need extra support and care. In the past, I have spent time volunteering with Mastiffs to Mutts Rescue to transport rescue dogs from their foster homes to their forever homes, so I have experience handling very large dogs! I currently have two gray tabbies (a bonded pair of sisters) and grew up with other feline friends. I understand the kind of care they need when their favorite humans are away, whether they are skittish or brave adventurers! I'm currently a music teacher in Washington County, so I am tend to only take clients over holidays and throughout the summer months. I am also available on most weekends with at least 2 days notice. About: I grew up with dogs and have loved animals my entire life. I have been a pet sitter for many friends and neighbors over the years and had my own canine companion for 10 years. She passed away in November of 2023. Animals deserve to be loved and treated like family. I also run with my husky in the mornings and would be happy to run with your dog if they are comfortable with other dogs! I work from home full time and have a pretty flexible schedule! Just let me know what time you need me to come and I'll block it in my calendar. I like to walk the dog for at least 1.5-3 miles depending on the energy level, but that's coming from a husky mom. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life but my first job years ago in high school was at a veterinary hospital/ boarding. Because I was still in high school I was mainly in the kennels taking care of all the wonderful fur babies while their parents were out of town. Also, after informing the doctors that I was aspiring to become a vet, they allowed me to put on some scrubs and help out occasionally. I quickly realized that I was going to find a different way to care for animals 😂 Since then I have raised my own dogs and cared for animals of friends and family and have worked a few jobs at doggie daycares. I am an early riser because of my job so if your fur baby is too, they will fit right in! I work construction so I will be out for a portion of the day, but my wife works from home so her and our two pups will always be there to keep your baby company and make them feel right at home! At my house, no where is off limits for a furry friend. We can do anything to accommodate your fur babies to make sure they’re comfortable with their stay and you can have peace of mind that they will be happy and safe while you are away!
