“We really appreciated Jill’s thoughtful and kind attention to our senior pets during our recent trip. Barney and Trudy loved her and we will definitely use her again when we travel.”

“Karsyn was amazing! Even tho we booked her last minute during a holiday weekend, she was super nice, punctual, flexible, and helpful! The animals absolutely loved her, which I could tell through the great pictures she took of them during the visits! She had excellent communication and was overall above and beyond expectations! We will be using her again :)”

“This is the first time we’ve had Maria take care of our 2 Aussies and we could not be more pleased! Her communication on every visit, the photos that she provided and the follow up texts were fantastic and they helped us to be very comfortable with our boys care! Thank you Maria!”

“Sarah is very nice and responsible. She was on time every visit and took good care of our 2 cats by sending photos, updates, and playing with them. Knowing she was caring for our kitties made being away easier.”

About: I am a full-time Physician assistant student at Chatham university and have always adored animals and have pet sat for friends and families’ pets over the years. I cannot think of a better way to fill the extra time that I have and to help make a little money than spending time and caring for animals! I typically am at the hospital 4 days out of the week and those are usually Monday - Friday, however, an occasional weekend shift does occur. I am open to dog walking as well as drop in visits and overnight stays with you pet in your home! I will treat your pets with the same love, care, and attention that I give my own. Their safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities, and you can trust that they’ll be in kind and responsible hands. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member(s)! My hours at the hospital very, however, they are typically four shifts per week during the weekdays at varying hours. I am usually free both weekend days. My availability changes quite often and I will keep my profile updated! I am open to walking or doing drop in visits before and after visits and overnight visits when available! Please reach out if you have specific questions regarding availability. I am comfortable handling pets with a variety of needs. I was lucky enough to foster a beagle with diabetes with my college roommates, and this required administering daily insulin shots along with several oral medications.
About: I’ve taken care of friends and neighbors cats and dogs for about 10 years now. I also have dogs and cats of my own and have been a pet owner of dogs and cats since 2006. I currently work remote and have a flexible schedule. I can schedule drop in visits or walks throughout the day multiple times per week. I am flexible and can work with your schedule. I prefer to communicate or have a list provided by the pet owner to ensure I am not disrupting the cat or dogs schedule. The more I know about the pet, the better to ease the stress of the pet and the owner.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have about 13 years of experience caring for them. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their pets. I genuinely love animals and will make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, affection, and care while they’re with me! As a rescue dog owner myself, I’m also comfortable caring for dogs who may be anxious, shy, or need a little extra patience while adjusting to new people and environments. I’m currently studying full-time for my CPA exams, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate pet care throughout the week. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and other care during the day, as well as evenings and weekends. I’m happy to work with you to find times that fit your pet’s normal routine. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable and confident with someone caring for your pet. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and any specific instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, or other needs. I’ll always make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and gets plenty of attention while in my care.
“Excellent drop in visits with Dan and Stephanie who were great with my two dogs!! Very prompt with communication and reliable. Would definitely recommend Dan and Stephanie and will book with them again in the future.”

“Abby is above and beyond as usual. She took great care of our dog and four guinea pigs. Two of our pigs needed extra medical attention (oral medicine + eye ointment), and she handled it really well. She also took adorable pictures of our pets to let me know they are healthy and happy. I highly recommend her!”

“Lauren was open to a thorough meet and greet prior to watching our two kitties, and she took the biggest weight off our shoulders while we were away. She sent plenty of updates, gave them their favorite treats, and lots of loving and play time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for loving them like your own! They’ll be excited to see you next time!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life but my first job years ago in high school was at a veterinary hospital/ boarding. Because I was still in high school I was mainly in the kennels taking care of all the wonderful fur babies while their parents were out of town. Also, after informing the doctors that I was aspiring to become a vet, they allowed me to put on some scrubs and help out occasionally. I quickly realized that I was going to find a different way to care for animals 😂 Since then I have raised my own dogs and cared for animals of friends and family and have worked a few jobs at doggie daycares. I am an early riser because of my job so if your fur baby is too, they will fit right in! I work construction so I will be out for a portion of the day, but my wife works from home so her and our two pups will always be there to keep your baby company and make them feel right at home! At my house, no where is off limits for a furry friend. We can do anything to accommodate your fur babies to make sure they’re comfortable with their stay and you can have peace of mind that they will be happy and safe while you are away!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bryn Mawr
Lillian did a great job with our dog. We had Lillian stop by while we were at work for the day to let our dog out and to play. Our dog is high energy, and gets over excited sometimes, but Lillian was perfect with her. We also received pictures and an update afterwards. Highly recommend!

Kennedy was very flexible and picked up my booking on very short notice! She was extremely kind, respectful, and responsive. She was attentive to all my cats needs, asked questions on how to care for him best, and listened to all my requests. I had extra tasks I didn’t expect to get accomplished(because I do give my cat princess treatment) but she accomplished them all!!! 100000/10! Would recommend.

Shannon is very kind with humans and pets. She took care of my dog while I was away for a week. She was extremely reliable, making each visit on time. Shannon gave my dog his daily medications and treated the diarrhea my dog usually gets when I am away. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my dog was well taken care of.

We are so thankful for the wonderful care our dog, Rudy, and guinea pigs received from Kade! It gave us such peace of mind knowing our pets were well cared for and happy while we were away. Communication was excellent. He gave Rudy lots of attention at each of his drop-ins with walks, playing with toys, etc. He was also attentive to our guinea pigs. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
