“Lindsay is absolutely fantastic. She took amazing care of Coaster, was reliable and sent me the cutest photos from everyone of her drop ins. It was such a relief to know our furry family member was in such good hands. Highly recommended!!!!”

“Mia is fantastic. She took care of my Pit Bull Jake while we were away for a holiday weekend. She kept the communication going. Sending me pictures and updates. I’ve continued with Mia walking Jake daily and would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter! Thanks Matt F.”

“Jackie is AMAZING! She is fun and empathetic. She accommodates the needs of the individual dogs with ease. My dogs love her and are safe and happy with Jackie! I am incredibly GRATEFUL to Jackie because I unfortunately was not so lucky with a dog walker found on Rover before her.”

“Mary is amazing! Highly recommend and I will definitely be rebooking with her for future trips. My two kitties were up and waiting for her 7am visits. And I loved her morning message and pictures letting me know how they were doing after each visit.”

“Abby is above and beyond as usual. She took great care of our dog and four guinea pigs. Two of our pigs needed extra medical attention (oral medicine + eye ointment), and she handled it really well. She also took adorable pictures of our pets to let me know they are healthy and happy. I highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up with both cats and dogs of all sizes. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life, and I truly enjoy making sure pets feel safe, happy, and cared for while their owners are away. I have experience watching both small and large dogs, so I’m comfortable with different energy levels, personalities, and needs. I currently have two dogs of my own—a 6-year-old husky mix and a 1.5-year-old German Shepherd mix—so I’m very familiar with active breeds and daily routines. I’m currently offering drop-in visits and dog walking services, and I’m happy to tailor each visit to your pet’s needs—whether that’s a walk, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, or just some extra attention and companionship. I work an 8–5 job with a hybrid schedule, which gives me flexibility to accommodate visits and walks throughout the week. I’m reliable, attentive, and will always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. I work a hybrid 8–5 schedule, which gives me flexibility to provide pet care throughout the week. Whether your pet needs a walk, drop-in visit, feeding, or some extra attention, I do my best to accommodate their routine and ensure they receive reliable, consistent care Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have two dogs of my own who are truly part of my babies, so I understand the trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care. I will treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention that I give my own, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away
“First time working with Jarett, he spent a lot more time than we expected him to just building trust and relationship with our dogs. He’s very prompt at communication and sending photos. Everything happened exactly how we asked him to.”

“Susan was very attentive and kind with our cats. Her daily updates on the cats were detailed and comforted me knowing they were in good hands while we were vacationing across the country. I would 100% recommend Susan for any pet care needs.”

About: I have hands on experience caring for both puppies and older dogs. I currently help raise and train our own puppies, so I’m very comfortable with daily routines, potty training, crate training, and basic commands. I’ve also pet sat for older dogs and understand the importance of patience, comfort, and keeping their routine consistent so they feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. I genuinely love being around animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. Making sure they get plenty of attention, care, and a calm, loving environment while you’re gone 🤍🐾 Pet care fits really naturally into my weekly routine. I work as a full-time nanny during the weekdays, typically finishing in the mid afternoon, and I’m often already in homes with pets as part of my nanny work. I also have my own puppy, so caring for animals is a daily part of my life. I’m used to managing a busy but flexible routine, so I’m able to fit pet care in consistently and reliably around my nanny schedule and personal responsibilities. In clients’ homes, I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and relaxed in their normal environment. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medication (if needed), and any specific house rules. I make sure to keep things clean and consistent so pets feel secure while their owners are away. For dogs, I prioritize walks, playtime, and structure so they stay happy and exercised. For cats, I focus on a calm presence, litter box maintenance, feeding, and giving attention based on their personality and comfort level. If a pet were ever in my home, they would be treated like part of the family - with a calm, safe space, lots of attention, and a routine that keeps them comfortable and stress-free 🤍🐾

My goal is to give you a peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in caring and capable hands. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and providing the loving care they deserve! About: Hello! My name is Stephanie, but I also go by Steph. I have 4 years dog grooming experience and I also have 5 years experience working at an emergency vet facility in the Washington, PA area. I accept any and all dogs for walking and boarding at your home. I have experience as well with dogs who need daily medications and treatment. That does not scare me! I am very partial to English Bulldogs, Boxers, Frenchies, Mastiffs, and Huskies! All breeds I have, or have had experience with. I look forward to meeting your four legged family member and treating them with the all the care and love they deserve! I am currently waiting to start school in September and am available 24/7 or whenever needed. After that I will be working 40 hours a week and will he available in the evenings at that time. I have a HUGE fenced in yard of my own, and three crazy dogs I care for daily as well. I would offer to sit dogs in my home, but my English Bulldog is very territorial and protective. It's best to watch your furry loved one at your home.
About: At this time, I am not house sitting. I like dog walking or drop ins. Thank you! I have always enjoyed dogs; playing and walking them especially in my neighborhood or at the park. When I was nine years old our first dog was Comet, a happy yellow lab and a bit of a barker. Then our family adopted a good little guy named Seamus. He was a mixed black lab puppy and he was very territorial which took some training and love to help him be less aggressive. I am not going to brag, but I know that I was Seamus' favorite because he never growled at me. We loved taking walks and rides. Unfortunatley, Seamus passed away from cancer in 2012. Next my parents found Noah from a beagle rescue. He is 100% beagle and 100% mischievious. He is a great guy, but he steals slippers even at the ripe old age of 10. He likes car rides. My husband and I adopted Mikey, a beagle mix and he is my buddy. He goes everywhere with us. He has been to Ohiopyle, playgrounds, family member's houses, and a Target Drive Up run. He is like my kid. I am definately his favorite! I have time in the evenings and on the weekends. I can be available with advanced notice in the daytime. Let me know how I can help. I give them love like you would, and I pet them. Even a massage can help their joints as older dogs have pain sometimes. I treat dogs like they are my family.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since i was little. Not only have i learned responsibilities but my deep love and compassion for animals grows every day! I have a bulldog of my own and i couldn’t imagine a life without him. I’m working almost full time but i can make time most weekdays to stop and take care of your pets needs. Mostly day time availability I cannot use my home because of my fur baby but i would be willing to talk about possibilities of taking care of your pet overnight at your house. Just leave me a list and we can have a meet and greet and talk about all the details.

About: I have been watching our neighbors and family friend’s dogs and doing drop-ins since I was little. My family has also had a dog since I was in highschool. I take him on walks every evening and am responsible for feeding and letting him out when my family is out of town. As well as my sisters dog when she stays with us. I am available throughout the day to do drop-in’s, go on walks or spend time with them at home throughout the day. Aside from a random day I have plans, my schedule is very flexible. I have a dog I take on walks at home and enjoy being outside with. As well as playing/throwing their toys or sitting together at home.

“When I come home, the girls act disappointed as they were expecting Lauren and her family. Lauren does a great job of cheering them up and entertaining them during her visits that they don't get as depressed while I away as usual. She will sing and dance with them, and the girls usually end up learning something new. This trip, Cruise learned to say the Margarita's name, which I haven't succeeded in teaching her in 8+ years! Just shows that they are excited with their visits.”
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life but my first job years ago in high school was at a veterinary hospital/ boarding. Because I was still in high school I was mainly in the kennels taking care of all the wonderful fur babies while their parents were out of town. Also, after informing the doctors that I was aspiring to become a vet, they allowed me to put on some scrubs and help out occasionally. I quickly realized that I was going to find a different way to care for animals 😂 Since then I have raised my own dogs and cared for animals of friends and family and have worked a few jobs at doggie daycares. I am an early riser because of my job so if your fur baby is too, they will fit right in! I work construction so I will be out for a portion of the day, but my wife works from home so her and our two pups will always be there to keep your baby company and make them feel right at home! At my house, no where is off limits for a furry friend. We can do anything to accommodate your fur babies to make sure they’re comfortable with their stay and you can have peace of mind that they will be happy and safe while you are away!
About: With nearly 20 years of veterinary experience, I provide safe, compassionate, and reliable care for pets of all ages. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, medication, or extra attention, I’ll treat them like they’re my own so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. 🐾 I work from home with a pretty flexible schedule which allows me to make multiple stops a day if needed for your furry friends. 🐾 I have a fenced in yard if needed and ways to separate pets as well. I do have children so if your pet isn’t child friendly we can work out sitting in your own home.

Mia is fantastic. She took care of my Pit Bull Jake while we were away for a holiday weekend. She kept the communication going. Sending me pictures and updates. I’ve continued with Mia walking Jake daily and would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter! Thanks Matt F.

Marisa was a great cat sitter for our cat. She was very responsive, took the time to meet with us beforehand to go over details and logistics, and already knew how to use our Whisker Litter-Robot, which made us feel very comfortable. Our cat seemed happy and well cared for when we got home, and we’d definitely book with her again!

Jackie is AMAZING! She is fun and empathetic. She accommodates the needs of the individual dogs with ease. My dogs love her and are safe and happy with Jackie! I am incredibly GRATEFUL to Jackie because I unfortunately was not so lucky with a dog walker found on Rover before her.

Allisa did a wonderful job with our cat Jeri, and also keeping water, food, and litter properly maintained. She was extremely professional and respectful at our meet and greet which put me at ease because I had never hired a pet sitter before, and was somewhat nervous about it. She followed our instructions exactly as we requested and maintained excellent communication. She went above and beyond when we had received packages on our porch and she placed them in our house. I highly recommend Allisa and would definitely hire her again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
