About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs for most of my life. I grew up with my Golden Retriever, Harley, and later my German Shepherd, Lambeau, who was part of my family for 10 years. I also regularly care for my sister’s Labradoodle, Teddy, and love spending time walking, playing, and giving pets the attention they deserve. I understand every dog has a unique personality and routine, and I’ll treat your pet with the same love, patience, and care I’d want for my own. You can expect dependable communication, plenty of photos and updates, and a safe, fun environment while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate most bookings with at least 3 days’ notice. I’ll always communicate clearly about my availability and do my best to work with your schedule whenever possible. I provide care exclusively in your pet’s home, where they feel most comfortable. I’ll follow your pet’s routine, respect your home, and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I’ll also send regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

Susan was GREAT! She was kind and patient with my pup. My doggo can be a bit skittish, but Susan and my pup became instant besties. Susan sent a great update on their walk and shared pictures from their adventures.

It was our first time using Rover and Lindsey was an excellent companion and dog walker for our pit bull mix! Her report after each visit was thorough and usually included an extra anecdote about their time together and great pictures! Lindsey very concerned and asked for our advice when our dog wasn't eating much food when we initially left. We appreciated her initiative. When there was a big rain storm and they couldn't walk outside, Lindsey spent the time playing with our dog inside and gave him the attention and exercise that he needed. Overall a great experience and highly recommend Lindsey!

Mary was great. Super communicative the whole time. Even when her schedule shifted, she let me know right away and was able to come a little earlier, which I really appreciated. This was my first time using Rover, and she definitely set a great first impression. Will absolutely book again.

About: I have been helping to take care of animals of all kinds since I got my first dog at 5 years old. Now 21, I have over 15 years of animal care experience by helping the pets of family, friends, and neighbors. I have my Girl Scout Bronze Award for setting up a pet fair that helped raise awareness and funds for local organizations that benefit animals. I am accustomed to training new pets and ensuring that senior pets get the best care they need. I can walk, feed, play, and do anything you may need to ensure that your pet is well taken care of while you are away. I am currently working part time, which entails that I have a very flexible schedule and am able to make anything work. I am willing to sit at my own residence and yours. I also have experience with house sitting. I am so excited to get to work caring for your furry friends! My schedule is very flexible which means I have plenty of time to spare on making sure your pets are okay and taken care of. I do work mostly in the evenings, only about 2-3 days a week but am never there past 8pm. I am essentially open from morning until evening nearly all day every day. My backyard is fenced off and has two levels ensuring that your pets have plenty of room to run and play! I also have a dog of my own to make sure your pet has someone to play with. My house is very secure and has lots of friendly neighbors with their own pets who would love to play and meet yours. I also live with 3 other people, which means your dog is never left unsupervised for too long.

About: Hi everyone! 🐾 My name is Kelsey, and I’m a fun-loving, caring person with a lifelong passion for animals! I grew up on a farm, so I’ve always had a special place in my heart for animals of all shapes and sizes. 🐶🐱 I had a wonderful 11-year-old Lab/Golden Retriever mix who sadly passed away in May 2022. 🐾 Today, I’m lucky to have Ash, my sweet cat who is a mix of Scottish Fold and Persian. 🐈‍⬛ I truly enjoy caring for animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether your furry friend is big or small, energetic or laid-back, I’m happy to give them the love, attention, exercise, and companionship they need while you’re away. I have a spacious home with plenty of yard space for pets to safely enjoy some outdoor time, play, and get plenty of exercise. I’m also happy to keep them entertained with their favorite toys and activities! My goal is to make sure your pets feel comfortable, safe, loved, and right at home while they’re in my care. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies and spoil them with lots of love and attention! ❤️🐾 Thank you for considering me to care for your pets. I truly appreciate the opportunity and look forward to making this a wonderful experience for both you and your pets! 🐾 I work full time Monday through Friday. I work about 7 mins from home. So I still have plenty amount of time to care for your pets. I live in an apartment in a big house the yard is not fenced but there’s a big opening for them to roam or play in the grass with toys.

About: I am a full-time Physician assistant student at Chatham university and have always adored animals and have pet sat for friends and families’ pets over the years. I cannot think of a better way to fill the extra time that I have and to help make a little money than spending time and caring for animals! I am open to dog walking as well as drop in visits and overnight stays with you pet in your home! I will treat your pets with the same love, care, and attention that I give my own. Their safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities, and you can trust that they’ll be in kind and responsible hands. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member(s)! My hours at the hospital very, however, they are typically four shifts per week during the weekdays at varying hours. I am usually free both weekend days. My availability changes quite often and I will keep my profile updated! I am open to walking or doing drop in visits before and after visits and overnight visits when available! Please reach out if you have specific questions regarding availability. I am comfortable handling pets with a variety of needs. About: Hi! I’m Karsyn, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been a dedicated dog mom to my Mini Australian Shepherd for the past 5 years, and before him I grew up with dogs my entire childhood. I truly treat my pets like my children, and I’ll care for yours with that same level of love, patience, and attention! When my dog was a puppy, I enrolled him in training classes, which taught me so much about dog behavior, body language, and positive interactions. That experience gave me a better understanding of how dogs communicate and how to make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. One of my absolute favorite parts of pet sitting is sending photos of your pets to you! I basically turn into the pet paparazzi and love snapping pictures throughout our time together. If you want one update, I can do that. If you want one million pictures, I can absolutely do that too;) I know how hard it is to be away from your furry family member, so I love sending lots of updates to give you peace of mind, and hopefully a few photos worthy for your camera roll! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and have no breed restrictions. If your pup is a strong puller, that’s no problem-I’m confident handling energetic dogs on walks as well! I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and my goal is always to make both you and your pet feel comfortable, cared for, and excited to book again! I work full-time Monday-Thursday and have full availability for pet care Friday-Sunday. Occasionally I can come evening during the week after work when need be I don’t offer boarding in my home, but I’d love to care for your pet in the comfort of theirs! My goal is to keep their routine as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away. Expect lots of love, playtime, and PLENTY of photo updates. I have a slight obsession with taking pictures of animals so If you want one picture, I can do that. If you want one million… I can definitely do that too! 📸🐾

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
